Quran's STUNNING Divine Miracles: [1]

Allah Almighty also promised in several Divine Prophecies that He will show the Glorious Quran's Miracles to mankind:

1-  The root letters for "message" and all of its derivatives occur 513 times throughout the Glorious Quran.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the Prophets' and Messengers' actual names (Muhammad, Moses, Noah, Abraham, Lot etc....) were also all mentioned 513 times in the Glorious Quran.  The detailed breakdown of all of this is thoroughly listed here.  This Miracle is covered in 100s (hundreds) of Noble Verses.

2-  Allah Almighty said that Prophet Noah lived for 950 years.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the entire Noble Surah (chapter Noah) is exactly written in 950 Letters.  You can thoroughly see the accurate count in the scanned images.

Coincidence?  See 1,000s of examples [1].  Quran's Stunning Numerical & Scientific Miracles.

Islam also thoroughly rejects as man-made lies the Trinity and Crucifixion [2].  Jesus was also thoroughly called
slave of GOD [1] in both the OT and NT.

Point-by-Point Response

And Summary of My Rebuttal to Ali Sina

Ali Sina listed out the points that he touched. He has listed about 39 points.

http://www../debates/NaikCampbellp11.htm

I have written a thorough rebuttal to him. You can find it here.

https://www.answering-christianity.com/yahya_ahmed/dr_zakir_naik_rebuttal.htm

I am also writing point-by-point response to make things easier for the reader. Lets begin with the hypocrisy and double standards of Ali Sina.

Ali Sina Writes:

(Ali Sina) Since Dr. Naik presented 22 out of many errors of the Bible, let me present a short list of many errors of the Quran for him (or anyone) who cares to respond. All we need to prove that the Quran is not from God is one error while even hundreds of errors in the Bible do not necessarily disqualify it as a message of God.

My Response:

WOW !
Hilarious indeed !! One error is sufficient to disqualify the Quran but EVEN HUNDREDS don’t necessarily disqualify Bible from being the word of God. This is turning out to be funny. Great hypocrisy !! Praise the Bible a bit more so that team doesn’t despise you for copying from their site. (I’ll show you later how he copies from )

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Verse 21:33 says the sun and the moon yasbahun. This means both of them navigate or rotate around the earth and not around their own axis as Dr. Naik has claimed.

My Response:

The sun and the moon both revolve as well as rotate around their own axis. As Dr.Zakir Naik explained.

The Arabic word used in the Qur’an is Yasbahoon, which describes the motion of a moving body. When it refers to a celestial body, it means it is rotating about its own axis”

How did Ali Sina conclude that they rotate and navigate around the earth?? No where does the Quran say such a thing. This means that they both rotate around their own axis as well as they revolve.

It indicates that both of them “rotate” as well as “revolve”.

The word “Yasbahoon” is derived from the word “sabaha” which describes the motion of a moving body. If its in water. It means “to swim” if it is on ground it means “to walk/run” when it is talking about a celestial body it means “to rotate” or “to revolve”.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Verse 51:47 says the universe is vast and not “expanding”. Dr. Naik is wrong on that.

My Response:

Ali Sina only quoted 3 translations to show it means “vast” but let’s read other translations of the verse of the Quran 51:47

Dr. Munir Munshey:

" With Our power and prowess, We brought into being the universe. And indeed, We expand it (steadily)!"

Muhammad Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan:

"With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, we are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof."

Arberry:

" And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide."

Khalifa:

"We constructed the sky with our hands, and we will continue to expand it."

And if you read the translation by Muhammad Asad, it uses the same words which Dr.Zakir Naik used "Expanding Universe". The verse reads

Muhammad Asad:

"It is we who have built the universe with [our creative] power; and, verily, it is we who are steadily expanding it."

"we are expanding it" is the translation of the plural present participle musi'una and of the verb ausa'a meaning "to make wider, more spacious, to extend, to expand"

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. The description of water cycle claimed by Muslims as miraculous is incomplete because the stage of evaporation is missing and what Muhammad has described has been common knowledge since man became homo sapience. Dr. Naik says verse: 86:11 talks “specifically about the capacity of heavens to return back rain” i.e. the stage of evaporation. This is clearly not so. This verse is about the return of the firmament (sun, moon, start) that happens every 24 hours.

My Response:

What is Ali Sina actually trying to tell us here? Its not even clear. Its talking about the capacity of the heavens to return back rain. The Quran does not mention “rain” specifically because the layer around the earth Ozonosphere besides returning back rain also returns back other beneficial matter and energy which is required by the human beings. Lets read the different translations of this verse

Yusuf Ali:

[086:011]  By the Firmament which returns (in its round),

Dr. Munir Munshey

[086:011]  (I swear) by the sky that repeatedly sends rain down.

Sher Ali:

[086:011]  By the cloud which gives rain repeatedly,

Shakir:

[086:011]  I swear by the rain-giving heavens,

Pickthall:

[086:011]  By the heaven which giveth the returning rain,

Sale:

[086:011]  By the heaven which returneth the rain;

Muhammad Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan:

[086:011]  By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.

Palmer:

[086:011]  By the heaven that sends back the rain!

Arberry:

[086:011]  By heaven of the returning rain,

Khalifa:

[086:011]  By the sky that returns (the water).

Rodwell:

[086:011]  I swear by the heaven which accomplisheth its cycle,

So it is very clear from this what the verse is talking about. Even the non-Muslim translators say that it is referring to rain. Dr.Zakir Naik gave the reason why Allah (SWT) did not mention it specifically.

So Alhumdulillah The Quran is more scientific when it mentions about the stage of evaporation.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Dr. Naik says verse 21:30 talks about the Big Bang. I showed that this verse is actually about a pagan mythology.

My Response:

It is not talking about any pagan mythology. Ali Sina even describes that pagan mythology. The pagan mythology also says as Ali Sina describes

"The lord rested; he gazed at the huge body, pondering how to use it, what to create from the dead carcass. He split it apart like a cockleshell; with the upper half he constructed the arc of sky, he pulled down the bar"

The Quran denies that God rests

Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep” (Quran 2:255)

“ We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us.” (Quran 50:38)

Where is the mention of dead carcass and other stupidity like pulling down the bar etc in the Quran??

The Quran is only talking about Big Bang.

Dr.Zakir Naik explains

“The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists in a widely accepted phenomenon, popularly known as the 'Big Bang'. It is supported by observational and experimental data gathered by astronomers and astrophysicists for decades. According to the 'Big Bang', the whole universe was initially one big mass (Primary Nebula). Then there was a 'Big Bang' (Secondary Separation) which resulted in the formation of Galaxies. These then divided to form stars, planets, the sun, the moon, etc. The origin of the universe was unique and the probability of it occurring by 'chance' is zero."

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Dr. Naik said that Islam is for all mankind. I showed that in verses 6:92 and 42:7 Muhammad said that   he had come for the people of Mecca and its surrounding and in verses 32:03 and 36:6 he said that he was sent to people other than those who had already received divine guidance. According to these verses Muslims must stop propagating their faith in the Christian West.

My Response:

Ali Sina here again quotes the verses and mispresents them. Both the verses 6:92 and 42:7 say "Mother of cities and All Around her"

ALL around her means the full world. Mecca is the centre of the world and ALL around it is the full world. The verses of the Quran do not prove that Islam is only for Arabs Alone.

Suppose if I say “Centre of the circle and all around it” what does that imply? It means the full circle. Similarly Mecca is the centre of the world. When the Quran says “Mother of cities and ALL around her” it is referring to the full world.

And in other two verses Allah is saying that he has sent Muhammad (pbuh) to admonish the people to whom no guidance has come before. Does it say that "admonish only those people to whom no Warner had been sent"?? Definitely not !!! Allah (SWT) sends his final messenger, which is for the whole of humanity from those people, to whom a messenger had not been sent before.

Most of the Translations translate the word 'nas' as 'mankind' in the verses which Dr.Zakir Naik quoted i.e 14:52,2:185 and 39:41. But even if Ali Sina doesn't agree. Still other verses prove that Quran is for entire humanity. Nowhere does the Quran say that it is only for the Arabs. He deliberately mispresented the verses he quoted to prove that.

More verses confirming Quran to be for entire humanity

"Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad SAW) that he may be a warner to the Alameen (mankind and jinns)." (Quran 25:1)

"But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds." (Quran 68:52)

"Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds:" (Quran 81:27)

"And no reward you (O Muhammad SAW) ask of them (those who deny your Prophethood) for it, it(the Quran) is no less than a Reminder and an advice unto the Alameen (men and jinns)." (Quran 12:104)

The word used in the above 4 verses is "Alameen" meaning "worlds".

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Dr. Naik claims that the Quran says ‘We have created the human beings from ‘the best part of a whole’. The truth is that the Quran says 32:8 human progeny is made of a ‘despised fluid’ (ma-in maheenin).

My Response:

Lets
read the verse.

And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised:” (Quran 32:8)

Quintessence means

1.

the pure and concentrated essence of a substance.

2.

the most perfect embodiment of something.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/quintessence

According to Concise Oxford Dictionary “quintessence” means

the most essential part of a substance”

So Dr.Zakir Naik was correct when he said it means “best part of the whole”.

Its just a difference in the choice of words.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Dr. Naik claims that no one knew that skin has pain sensors and everyone used to think that pain is sensed by brain. That is rubbish. The truth is the reverse. The function of brain in sensing pain is a recent discovery. Pain was felt where pain was applied. In the old days people thought the function of brain is to cool down the body like a radiator and heart is the thinking organ.

My Response:

Dr.Zakir Naik said that people did not know about pain receptors. That is True !! Pain receptors is a recent discovery. The scientific point here is that

People did not know that if you burn a skin continuously it will lose the tendency of burning anymore. That is what doctors do today when a patient of burn injury comes. They take a pin and prick in that area. If the patient feels pain the doctor is happy because its a superficial burn. If the patient does not feel pain then its deep burn. That is the miraculous point about it. And we may well ask. If this was known since ages. Then why is the discovery of pain receptors considered a recent discovery. Why isn't it considered a discovery that was done eons ago?

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. Dr. Naik claims that when the Bible says the world was created in six days it is talking about 24 hours days, while when these same claim was plagiarized by Muhammad and rehashed in the Quran it suddenly changed its meaning to "periods of time" or "epochs". Why a day in the Bible and a day in the Quran should be different is something only Dr. Naik knows. Despite that the universe was not created in epochs

My Response:

Ali Sina here repeats the same nonsense that the Christians keep repeating. Dr.Zakir Naik replies to this

http://www.irf.net/irf/dtp/dawah_tech/t18/t18a/pg1.htm

The day in the bible should be interpreted as a 24-hour day because it speaks of a MORNING & EVENING. Lets take one example here

"3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day."  (Genesis 1:3-5)

The Quran does not speak of evening and morning when describing the days. Therefore, the Biblical verses refer to six 24-hour days whereas the Quranic verses refer to 6 eons i.e very long periods and scientists do not take any exception to this but the Biblical verses are not compatible with science as they speak of six 24-hour days.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. The definition of embryology in the Quran 23:12-14 is wrong. Nutfa (sperm) does not become embryo (which in the Qur'an is erroneously called Alaqa, a congealed clot of blood). The role of the female egg in Quranic embryology is missing. And bones are not formed before the flesh. Just to mention two of several errors in these verses.

My Response:

Let me remind you of something before I proceed with the response.

Ali Sina has not quoted a single Medical book to back any of his claims on embryology.

Nutfa means “minute quantity of liquid” or “sperm” as Ali Sina describes.  Then the Quran says “We made that nutfa into alaqa

Alaqa also means “something which clings” or “leech like” substance.

The Quran is describing the stages of embryology based on appearance. Embryo does in the initial stages look like a leech. This is the photograph that Dr.Zakir Naik showed.

http://www.islam-guide.com/ch1-1-a.htm

Regarding the female egg.

I am hearing it for the first time in my life. Ali Sina again hasn’t given any proof of it.

I want him to quote a single book on embryology, which says so.

Not a book written by him or any of his clowns.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. 10.5, 25.61 and 71.16 say that both the Moon and the Sun are lamps “emitting light”. Dr. Naik simply lies when he says Nur is reflected light. Nur is direct light and Munir is an object that emits light not something that reflects light.

My Response:

The Quran no where mentions them to be lamps. This is a LIE. The Holy Quran differentiates between the sunlight and moonlight.

In the words of Dr.Zakir Naik

The Arabic word for Sun is ‘Shams’. It's always described either as Siraj meaning a torch, or Wahaj meaning a blazing lamp, or Diya – ‘meaning a shining glory’. The Moon - the Arabic word is Qamar. It's always described as Munir, meaning borrowed light or Noor, which is a reflection of light.”

Ali Sina doesn’t agree that “noor” means reflected light. He goes on to quote various verses of the Quran where the word “noor” is used. I’ll just quote few of them here.

2:257
He bringeth them out of darkness into light

4:174
We have sent down unto you a clear light

5:15
There hath come to you from God a (new) light

5:44
We did reveal the Torah, wherein is guidance and a light

In all these verses we see that “light” is referred to as guidance. The guidance, which is reflected by Allah (SWT) on human beings. Nowhere in the entire Quran is “munir” or “noor” used for something that emanates light or something that has its own light.

Muhammad Asad the famous translator and commentator explains:

“He is is who has made the sun a [source of] radiant light and the moon a light [reflected]” (Quran 10:5)

Footnote #10

“The nouns diya and nur are often interchangeable, inasmuch as both denote “light”; but many philologists are of the opinion that the term diya (or daw) has a more intensive connotation, and is used to describe “a light which subsists by itself, as that of the sun and fire” – that is , a source of light- while nur signifies “a light that subsists by some other thing” (Lane V, 1809, of the authority of Taj al-Arus): in other words, light due to an extraneous source or – as in the case of the moon – reflected light”

Still if one doesn’t agree I want to know why is there not one place in the Holy Quran where moonlight is described as Siraj meaning a torch, or Wahaj meaning a blazing lamp, or Diya – ‘meaning a shining glory’??

Why is there not a single place where sunlight is described as “munir” or noor”??

The reason is that the author of the Quran who is the All-Knowing Creator of this universe knows the difference between the two lights.

The above explanation is sufficient to prove that the light of the moon is not its own light but it’s reflected light.

Ali Sina Writes:

  1. 18:86 says… ‘Until, when he [Zulqarnain] reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water’. Dr. Nail lies when he says this “appeared” to him. If it was only the appearance then such a thing can appear to anyone, anywhere; why mention Alexander?  Alexander had become a legend and common folks believed that he had conquered the world from “one end to another”. Only he, who had been to both ends of the world, could have witnessed this amazing phenomenon of rising and setting the sun in murky waters. These are the waters/oceans that the ancient folk believed surround the dray land.

My Response:

The verses mention “Zulqarnain” not “Alaxander”. If some commentator makes a mistake then he is wrong not Allah.

Dr.Zakir Naik did not lie when he said it means “appeared”

Dr.Zakir Naik made it very clear when he said “One is this way, according to Muhammad Asad

Lets read the translation of Muhammad Asad on this verse :

[And he marched westwards] till, when he came to the setting of the sun," it appeared to him that it was setting in a dark, turbid sea;" and nearby he found a people [given to every kind of wrongdoing].” (Quran 18:86)

Allah Almighty in the Glorious Quran said that earth is:

       -  Spherical: "egg-shaped" [1].
       -  Is rotating around itself.
       -  Is moving in space in curvy orbits [2].
       -  Is in constant motion.
       -  Is suspended in space.
       -  Is swimming in space.
       -  Is traveling through the constantly expanding universe [3].
       -  The sunsetless North Pole miracle in the Glorious Quran [4].

  • At the top of the North Pole, the sun never sets, and I showed the video for that, and also quoted the scientific sources for that. Also in the lands near by, it almost never sets either, and I quoted sources for that as well, and also showed pictures of the "polar night" skies on these lands.

  • He saw the Aurora Lights covering:

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, saw the aurora lights covering the horizons of space above the earth when he was taken up to Heaven:

Narrated Abdullah: "Regarding the Verse: “Indeed he (Muhammad) did see. Of the Signs of his Lord, The Greatest!” (Quran 53.18) That the Prophet had seen a green carpet spread all over the horizon of the sky قَالَ رَأَى رَفْرَفًا أَخْضَرَ سَدَّ أُفُقَ السَّمَاء." (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 456)

Regarding Dhil-Qarnayn (literally means "man of two horns"), Allah Almighty said this about his journey to the farthest northern lands and people:

‏18:90 حتى اذا بلغ مطلع الشمس وجدها تطلع على قوم لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر

"Until he reached near حتى اذا بلغ where the sun is up مطلع الشمس, he found it above وجدها تطلع على people قوم whom We made no cover for them from it لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر (The Noble Quran, 18:90)"

    Noble Verse(s) 18:91

    Rodwell:

[018:091]  Thus it was. And we had full knowledge of the forces that were with him.

Arabic (Read from right to left.  Also, all png image files: [1] [2]):

18:91 كذلك وقد احطنا بما لديه خبرا

Prophet Muhammad "did see" (Quran 53.18) the Aurora Lights covering the horizons above the earth from space.  Dhil-Qarnayn went up to the farthest northern lands where the sun is up, and "Thus it was", Allah Almighty completed the "full knowledge" regarding Dhil-Qarnayn's mission.  This further supports the story below about Dhil-Qarnayn's journey to the farthest northern lands and people (The sunsetless North Pole Quran-miracle).  They also spoke unintelligibly, the Quran says.  They hardly spoke intelligibly (18:93).  Historians have proven that the Barbarians of the North used to speak unintelligibly.  The description of the people of the North, whose North Pole is truly sunsetless (see ample pictures), perfectly fits the Barbarians of the Vikings in the Scandinavian and other Barbarians in the near by lands:

Dhil-Qarnayn literally means "man of two horns"

    Dhil = One who has.
    قرنين Qarnayn = two horns
Qarnayn is a dual plural of Qarn (horn).
Three or more horns is Quroon, in Arabic.

I believe Noble Verses 53:18 and 18:91 are prophetically linked together; that Prophet Muhammad also saw what Dhil-Qarnayn ذي القرنين  saw.  Also visit:

           -  The Glorious Quran also speaks about many earths [5] and not just earth.
           -  The Glorious Quran predicts
11 planets in our solar system [6].

In the end, Allah Almighty uses the Glorious Quran to "...Thus doth God leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth..." (74:31).  The infidels misuse the Glorious Quran to find "scientific errors".  The Glorious Quran is Allah Almighty's Perfect Divine Holy Book.  It contains no scientific error.  Visit the following example and the link to see 1000s of Numerical and Scientific Miracles:

    Ali Sina Writes:

    1. 86.4  implies that stars are protectors of people. This is fairytale.

    My Response:

    Lets
read the verses and reveal the deception of Ali Sina.

[086:001]  By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);-

[086:002]  And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?-

[086:003]  (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;-

[086:004]  There is no soul but has a protector over it. (Quran 86:1-4)

Where do these verses say that star is the protector??

In the first verse Allah (SWT) is swearing by the Sky and Night-Visitant and in verse 2-3 He is describing what Night-Visitant is and in verse four it says “There is no soul but has a protector over it.” Where does the verse say that the star is the protector? Allah (SWT) is swearing by the sky and Night-Visitant that there is no soul but has a protector over it.

If this is a mistake by Ali Sina then its inexcusable and if its deliberate then its devilish!!

    Ali Sina Writes:

    13.   86.7  says sperms proceed from between the backbone and the ribs. This is wrong.

    My Response:

Yes, It may be wrong according to the Scientific discoveries done by Ali Sina and his clowns. The scientists do not disagree with that.

    The verses read :

"Now let man but think From what he is created! He is created from A drop emitted --- Proceeding from between The back bone and the ribs." (Quran 86:5-7)

In embryonic stages, the reproductive organs of the male and female, i.e. the testicles and the ovaries, begin their development near the kidney between the spinal column and the eleventh and twelfth ribs. Later they descend; the female gonads(ovaries) stop in the pelvis while the male gonads(testicles) continue their descent before birth to reach the scrotum through the inguinal canal. Even in the adult after the descent of the reproductive organ, these organs receive their nerve supply and blood supply from the Abdominal Aorta, which is in the area between the back bone(spinal column) and the ribs. Even the lymphatic drainage and the venous return goes to the same area.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    14. Will  people be raised from dead on the Last Day to receive their punishment and rewards 6.36, 7.57, 2.260, 21.21, 30.50, 35.9, 43.11, 72.7, or do they receive it right after their death? 3.169

    My Response:

    Lets
    read the verses.

Those who listen (in truth), be sure, will accept: as to the dead, God will raise them up; then will they be turned unto Him.” (Quran 6:36)

It is He Who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember.” (Quran 7:57)

“Behold! Abraham said: "My Lord! Show me how Thou givest life to the dead." He said: "Dost thou not then believe?" He said: "Yea! but to satisfy My own undertaking." He said: "Take four birds; Tame them to turn to thee; put a portion of them on every hill and call to them: They will come to thee (Flying) with speed. Then know that God is Exalted in Power, Wise." (Quran 2:260)

Or have they taken (for worship) gods from the earth who can raise (the dead)?” (Quran 21:21)

Then contemplate (O man!) the memorials of God's Mercy!- how He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things.” (Quran 30:50)

It is God Who sends forth the Winds, so that they raise up the Clouds, and We drive them to a land that is dead, and revive the earth therewith after its death: even so (will be) the Resurrection!” (Quran 35:9)

That sends down (from time to time) rain from the sky in due measure;- and We raise to life therewith a land that is dead; even so will ye be raised (from the dead);-“ (Quran 43:11)

And they (came to) think as ye thought, that God would not raise up any one (to Judgment).” (Quran 72:7)

    The supposed contradictory verse:

“ Think not of those who are slain in God's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;” (Quran 3:169)

    Does one find any contradiction?

Do the above verses say that they will only be raised on the day of judgment? The final recompense of everyone will be on the day of judgement.

“Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense” (Quran 3:185)

Allah (SWT) pay punish some people before the day of judgment. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) spoke of the stage between the Hereafter and this life.

In 3:169 when Allah says “They are alive” does not mean physically Alive. The verse is in the context. When the pagans thought that the people who died by fighting in the way of Allah have gone in a loss. So in that context it says that they are Alive meaning they have their reward with Allah and they are not in any kind of loss. Prophet (pbuh) and his companions also offered prayers (Salat) for those who died in the way of Allah.

Do Muslims offer the prayer which we offer when a person dies for the person who is Alive?? No !

So it is not talking about being physically alive but spiritually and they have their reward with Allah.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    15. 31:10  says “He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you”. Mountains   do not stop the earth from shaking with us. It is ludicrous to say if mountains were not there the earth would have shaken by people walking on it.

    My Response:

    The Quran says

“….He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you;” (Quran 31:10)

Mountains stabilize the earth’s crust. The geologists confirm that including Dr.Frank Press. For details refer to this.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    16. 78:7 says mountains are like tent pegs or stakes. This is false.

    My Response:

False according to scientific discoveries done by Ali Sina.

    Mountains do have deep roots

Figure 7: Mountains have deep roots under the surface of the ground. (Earth, Press and Siever, p. 413.)

Figure 8: Schematic section.  The mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground. (Anatomy of the Earth, Cailleux, p. 220.)

Figure 9: Another illustration shows how the mountains are peg-like in shape, due to their deep roots. (Earth Science, Tarbuck and Lutgens, p. 158.)

These are from the geological books written by non-Muslims.

    Taken from : http://www.islam-guide.com/frm-ch1-1-b.htm

This is how they are described in the Quran

“Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse, And the mountains as pegs?” (Quran 78:6-7)

    Ali Sina Writes:

78:6  says ‘Have We [1st person] not made the earth an expanse?’ and the verse 20.53  says "He [3rd person] Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out”. 2:22 says the earth is a bed for you, and the heaven a roof. This is obviously wrong. Neither the earth is like a bed nor the skies are like roof.

    My Response:

As I proved above the mountains have deep roots and they are like tent pegs or stakes.

    The verse 2:22 reads

Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto God when ye know (the truth).” (Quran 2:22)

The earth is like a couch i.e a resting place. Some translators have translated the word “firash” as carpet.

The earth is like a carpet. Now the point which the critics may raise is that “carpet” indicates that the earth is flat. I read the same point in some other articles on Ali Sina’s site. Dr.Zakir Naik responds to this

(See question 8 in the above link)

The sky is also like a roof (dome). There is a protective roof above the earth which protects the earth from extraterrestrial elements. For more on protected roof refer to.

    18. 16:66 says: “And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle; We give you to drink of what is in their bellies -- from betwixt the feces and the blood-- pure milk, easy and agreeable to swallow for those who drink.” This is rubbish. Milk is not produced from between feces and blood. This reveals Muhammad's ignorance of anatomy.

    My Response:

First of all lets take the correct translation of this verse

"And verily in cattle there is A lesson for you. WE give you to drink Of what is inside their bodies, Coming from a conjunction Between the contents of the Intestine and the blood, A milk pure and pleasant for Those who drink it."(Quran 16:66)

(This translation is taken from the book “The Bible, The Quran And Science)

    Dr.Zakir Naik explains:

“Chemical reactions occur in the intestines and that, from there, substances extracted from food pass into the blood stream via a complex system; sometimes by way of the liver, depending on their chemical nature. The blood transports them to all the organs of the body, among which are the milk-producing mammary glands.”

    Ali Sina Writes:

    19.
6:38, says that ‘There is not an animal on the earth, nor a being that flies on two wings, but forms communities like you’. No animal on earth forms communities like that of humans.

    My Response:

More rubbish from Ali Sina. The animals and birds do live in communities like the human beings. For details refer to

    Ali Sina Writes:

    20. 55:19-20 says there is a barrier between two waters “which is forbidden to transgress”. There is no barrier between any waters. All waters mix. .

    My Response:

    Lets read the verses

[055:019]  He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:

[055:020]  Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:”  (Quran 55:19-20)

The Quran tells us very clearly that though they meet and mix but there is a barrier between them. How??

    Refer to this

Here it explains with scientific proofs given by non-Muslim scientists.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    21. Verses 7:54, 10:3, 11:7, and 25:59 say the universe was created in six days while verses 41:9-12 say it was created in eight days. Then again in 2:117 we are told that “He [3rd person] saith to it: 'Be,' and it is”. These are three different versions of creation – six days, eight days and instantaneously. At least two of them must be satanic verses. Which ones?

    My Response:

“Be and It is” (Kun Fayakoon) does not mean instantaneous. It is even used for Jesus. The Quran says

She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!” (Quran 3:47)

It is even used for Jesus. But yet he was in his mother’s womb for 9 months.  It means  that whenever God wills anything he merely says to it “Be” and it happens. Again, this does not mean that God has to utter the word “be”,”be”,”be  to let the things happen. It means he merely wills it and the thing happens in the course of time he wills.

Regarding six days or eight days.

    Dr.Zakir Naik replies to this:

    http://www.irf.net/irf/dtp/dawah_tech/t15/t15b/pg1.htm

Refer to question 14 in the link provided.

None of the three are satanic. All are True

    Ali Sina Writes:

22 . 2:29  says “He [3rd person] created for you all that is in the earth. Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens”. This version of creation is anachronous. This is like saying first the child was born and then the mother. Is this another “miracle of Allah” or another blunder of Muhammad?  The same error is found in  7:54, 10:3, 11:7, 25:59 and 41:9-12..

    My Response:

    The Quran says

“It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover (thumma) His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.” (Quran 2:29)

The word “thummabesides meaning “then” it also means “moreover” or “simultaneously.” Alhumdulillah Abdullah Yusuf Ali has translated “thummacorrectly here as “moreover.”

Some places the Quran says that Allah created the earth and heavens.

“A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high.” (Quran 20:4)

“It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover (thumma) His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.” (Quran 2:29)

In other places the Quran says that Allah created the heavens and the earth.

Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth?...(Quran 6:14)

“It is He who created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions):…. (Quran 6:73)

In some places it says “heavens and the earth”, In some places it says “earth and the heavens” confirming the Big Bang theory  that both of them were created simultaneously. The Quran too confirms the Big Bang Theory.

“Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” (Quran 21:30)

    Ali Sina Writes:

    23. 79:28-30 contradicts 2:29 and says “He  raised its canopy (sky), then He created light and darkness “and after that He spread the earth”.

    My Response:

I clarified the point 2:29 above. Lets analyze the verse 79-28-30.

[079:028]  On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection.

[079:029]  Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light).

[079:030]  And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse);” (Quran 79:28-30)

I checked eleven translations. None of them statethen He created light and darkness”

    See here:

    Ali Sina lies once again.

79:30 doesn’t say “after that the earth”. The transliteration is “Waal-arda baAAda…”

Which Yusuf Ali has rightly translated as “And the earth, Moreover…”

    Wa : And

    Arda : Earth

    Ba’ada : After/moreover.

If the Quran had said “Wa Baada Arda…” meaning “And after that” then it would have been a contradiction.

So it is not contradiction at all. It means God has raised the canopy i.e the sky and and the earth moreover as Dahaha meaning “egg shape” or “expanse”

    Ali Sina Writes:

    24. ·  21:30 says “heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before We [1st person] clove them asunder?” But 41:11 says “Then He [3rd person] directed Himself to the heaven and it is a vapor, so He said to it and to the earth: Come both, willingly or unwillingly. They both said: We come willingly.” So were the heaven and earth joined originally and Allah separated them or where they separated and Allah joined them? There is a contradiction. One of them must be a satanic verse. Which one?

    My Response:

None of the two is wrong. When it says ‘Come both, willingly or unwillingly” its talking about coming into existence, Not physically coming together. Both are correct. None of the two is wrong.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    25. ·  65.12  says "Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number". This is false. Neither the sky nor the Earth are made of seven layers.

    My Response:

“Seven” in Arabic language is also used to define indefinite plural. “Seven” is also used as indefinite plural in the Quran.

"To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned" (Quran 15:44)

"And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of  Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom." (Quran 31:27)

Again in the above 2 verses "seven" is used as indefinite form of plural. It was even used in the texts at the time of the Quran and even in several Hadith.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    26. The above verse also assumes that heaven and earth have wills of their own and can obey or disobey God's orders. This is good for children story but it is not science.

    My Response:

It is a matter of belief. It has nothing to do with science. He is simply too desperate to write something.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    27. The same verse is also anachronous. How can the creation of plants and animals have preceded the unification of heaven and earth? Dr. Naik astutely saw the error in the Bible that says the creation of the plants preceded the creation of the Sun. But he failed to see the exact same error in the Qur'an. If the Bible is wrong on this point, its copy i.e. the Qur'an is also wrong.

    My Response:

    Dr.Zakir
    Naik replies to this.

    http://www.irf.net/irf/dtp/dawah_tech/t15/t15b/pg1.htm

The heavens and the earth according to 41:9-12 were created in six days and NOT eight days. The creation of plant did not precede the heavens and the earth.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    28. 41:12  says “And We  adorned the lower heaven with lights” This is a clear allusion to stars. Considering the Earth as the base, just as the Qur'an does, are stars in the lower layer of the sky while the Sun and the Moon and other planets of the solar system are above them?

    My Response:

Before I respond to this. I would like to give due credit to Brother Zatari for helping me out in refuting this point.

    The verse reads

[041:012]  So He completed them as seven firmaments in two Days, and He assigned to each heaven its duty and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights..”

The earth is not the “base” as Ali Sina describes. If the earth is “base” then it means it is flat. Nowhere does the Quran say that the earth is flat.

The Quran says that the universe (samawat) has seven layers. “Seven” as I mentioned is used for indefinite plural. The layer in which we are living is described as “lower heaven” in which we have the earth, Jupiter, Sun, Moon and other planets as well as the stars etc.

Sama is also used in the Quran to describe universe. Lets take couple of examples.

    When talking about expanding universe

"It is we who have built the universe (sama) with [our creative] power; and, verily, it is we who are steadily expanding it.” (Quran 51:47)

Here “sama is used to describe the universe.

    When talking about Big Bang

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens (samawat) and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder?” (Quran 21:30)

Here “heavens” (samawat) is again used to describe universe.

In various verses when the Quran uses Samawate wal ardIt is referring to the earth and universe.

    Ali Sina Writes:

    29. 22:47 and 32:5 say that Allah's day equal to 1,000 human years. But 70:4 says that it equal to 50,000 years.

    My Response:

    My Response:

As I proved that sky is a “dome” or “protected roof” above the earth which prevents the earth from many things like extraterrestrial elements etc.

    31. 54:19 says Allah destroyed the people of Aad in a day. 41:16 says it was days (three or more) 69:7 specifies seven nights and eight days in succession? At least two of these versions must be satanic verses.

    My Response:

First of All lets quote the verses.

For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster,” (Quran 54:19)

“So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help.” (Quran 41:16)

“He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down!” (Quran 69:7)

    The answer is here

    Ali Sina Writes:

    37. 2:221 says “Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe”.  9:30 makes it clear that Jews and Christians are unbelievers, have deluded away and “Allah's [3rd person] curse be on them”. And yet 5:5 says it is lawful to marry women of the People of the Book.

    My Response:

    The verses that he quoted

Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire….” (Quran 2:221)

“The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!” (Quran 9:30)

“This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).” (Quran 5:5)

Now we should first understand which women of the people of the Book is Allah (SWT) talking about.

In 2:221 The Quran forbids us to marry unbelieving women. In 9:30 the Quran is calling those Jews and Christians as infidels, those who blaspheme and attribute sons to Allah because giving a son to Allah is the most heinous abuse one can give to Allah. The Quran says

They say: "(God) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, That they should invoke a son for (God) Most Gracious.  For it is not consonant with the majesty of (God) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.” (Quran 19:88-92)

So in the light of all these verses we see that the permission of marriage is only with those women from People of the Book, who are believers. Who do not blaspheme that God has begotten a son or who say Jesus is God. The Quran distinguishes between such People from the People of the Book.

“…If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.” (Quran 3:110)

    Ali Sina Writes:

    38. 9:17 and 9:69 say the good deeds of unbelievers will not be rewarded. Yet 99:7 promises “whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it”.  2:62 promises rewards for Christians and Jews. But then again the Quran says they are blasphemers 5:17, 72-73, have deluded away from the truth, are unbelievers and curse of Allah be on them 9:30.

    My Response:

Ali Sina has brought up two points here. I’ll reply them one-by-one.

    1. 9:17 and 9:69 say the good deeds of unbelievers will not be rewarded. Yet 99:7 promises “whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it”

    The verse 99:7 reads

“Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!” (Quran 99:7)

Does the above verse say that the unbelievers will get the reward for their good deeds? No! It only says that anyone who has done even little good will see it. The record of everyone’s life will be in front of them on the Day of Judgment and they will see what they have done.

Verses 9:17 and 9:69 rightly say that the deeds of the unbelievers will go waste and they will not be rewarded for that because they do shirk with Allah i.e associate partners with him and shirk is the sin which Allah (SWT) will never forgive. The Quran says

“Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with God is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed.” (Quran 4:48)

“Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with God, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).” (Quran 4:116)

2:62 promises rewards for Christians and Jews. But then again the Quran says they are blasphemers 5:17, 72-73, have deluded away from the truth, are unbelievers and curse of Allah be on them 9:30.”

    The verse 2:62 reads

“Those who believe (in the Quran), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Quran 2:62)

The verse is talking about those Jews and Christians who follow their scriptures and believe in Allah and are not blasphemous. The Quran also says.

"Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;” (Quran 7:157)

Therefore, if the Jews and Christians follow their scriptures, they have to come to Islam as the mention of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is there in their scriptures.

While others who believe that Jesus is God or he is one of the three in a trinity, the Quran considers them blasphemers. The Quran differentiates between them

“…If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.” (Quran 3:110)

    Ali Sina Writes:

    39. Contradictory teachings: On wine and intoxicant drinks.
    a) “You obtain from them intoxication (sakaran) and goodly provision.” 16:67 = It is good.
    b) “Do not go near prayer when you are intoxicated (sukara) until you know (well) what you say,” 4:43 = stay away from booze when you want to pray
    c) “They ask thee concerning wine (al-khamri) and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." 2:219 = It can be both good and bad but it is more bad than good.
    d) “O ye who believe! Intoxicants (al-khamru) and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of satan’s handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper. 5:90-91=completely bad.
Are all these verses from the same god? How come something that was first “a goodly provision” became an abomination and Satan’s handwork?

    My Response:

    a) “You obtain from them intoxication (sakaran) and goodly provision.” 16:67 = It is good.

    Lets analyze the points one-by-one.

The Quran 16:67 reads. He quoted from the translation of Shakir

And of the fruits of the palms and the grapes -- you obtain from them intoxication and goodly provision; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who ponder.” (Quran 16:67)

Where does the verse say that vine is good? It says that from grapes and palms you get vine and goodly provision. That is True. We Muslims do eat grapes. Allah (SWT) doesn’t prohibit us from having grapes. Grapes are sold freely in the Muslim countries.

Where does the verse say that wine is good? It only says that from grapes you get wine and goodly provision. The Arabic word there is “rizq hasanawhich means “good sustenance” or “good nourishment”

    b) “Do not go near prayer when you are intoxicated (sukara) until you know (well) what you say,” 4:43 = stay away from booze when you want to pray

Does one need any explanation for that?

    c) “They ask thee concerning wine (al-khamri) and gambling.

In verse 2:219 it rightly says that wine has some profit but the sin is greater.

    The verse reads

“They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit.” (Quran 2:219)

That is right that wine has some profit. But the amount of evil that is there because of it is exorbitant. The amount of damage it causes is too much. It increases evil and crime. There are thousands and thousands of people dying every year because of intoxicants. That is why the Quran calls it “Satan’s handwork”. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said

In Sunan Ibn-I-Majah Volume 3, Book of Intoxicants, Chapter 30 Hadith No. 3371.

"Alcohol is the mother of all evils and it is the most shameful of evils."

This ends all his 39 points. All refuted !!

Insults by Ali Sina to Muslims

Lets see the insults which this rubbish talker has thrown on Muslims in this entire rebuttal.

This reveals the deplorable intellectual bankruptcy of the wretched Umma.

Believe me, absurd thinking is the trait of Muslims.

But the Muslim brain is not equipped with enough rationality to think deep:

The Muslim mind works in bizarre ways.

    Source:

    Lies by Ali Sina

He lied that Dr.Zakir Naik translated "sama as “rain”

He further lied that the Muslims took the pictures from the book of El-Naggar and attributed it to Dr.Frank Press, which I showed above that Dr.Zakir Naik and Muslims did not do such a thing.

He further lied when quoting the Quran 51:47. He quoted only 2-3 translations which suited him the best. In proving other things he quotes 7-8 translations.

Ali Sina said “. No scientist has ever said that the universe has been created in six phases” Whereas the words of Dr.Zakir Naik were “" Scientists say we have no objection in agreeing that the universe - it could have been created in 6 very long periods”

Ali Sina lied when he qtuoed the verses of Surah Naziat ch.79 of the Quran where quoted the verse 79:29 as  then He created light and darkness” no translation says such a thing. The verse starts with “Wawhich means “and” NOT “then”

    Hypocrisy of Ali Sina

(Ali Sina) Yes indeed, there are many contradictions in the Bible.

(Ali Sina) Yes this is quite silly (He says this in response to Dr.Zakir Naik’s point on Leviticus 14:49-53)

“The  Christians and the Jews can overlook those errors and attribute them to the fallibility of the scribes.”

    Yet

    Ali Sina says

“That is why I call Christianity a living faith

“All we need to prove that the Quran is not from God is one error while even hundreds of errors in the Bible do not necessarily disqualify it as a message of God. “

He even tried to defend the Bible on the points Genesis 1:30, Mark 16:17-18 etc.

This ends my Rebuttal. By now the reader if he is open-minded must be convinced that Ali Sina is a hypocrite liar and foul-mouth person. I have summarized my Response to make things easy for the reader.

May Allah (SWT) give guidance to All. Ameen !
