Rebuttal to Sam Shamoun’s “Variant Readings of the Quran” article:

While I have provided ample and detailed sources showing how the Noble Quran was perfectly preserved by the Muslims, and thus, there is really no actual reason for me to write this article since that would make it redundant, but I’d like to comment briefly on few things Shamoun wrote to help shed the Light of Truth upon the reader in regards to the Noble Quran and Its Divine Perfection.

Missing Verse On Stoning

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
'Umar said, "I am afraid that after a long time has passed, people may say, "We do not find the Verses of the Rajam (stoning to death) in the Holy Book," and consequently they may go astray by leaving an obligation that Allah has revealed. Lo! I confirm that the penalty of Rajam be inflicted on him who commits illegal sexual intercourse, if he is already married and the crime is proved by witnesses or pregnancy or confession." Sufyan added, "I have memorized this narration in this way." 'Umar added, "Surely Allah's Apostle carried out the penalty of Rajam, and so did we after him." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 82, Number 816)

... In the meantime, 'Umar sat on the pulpit and when the callmakers for the prayer had finished their call, 'Umar stood up, and having glorified and praised Allah as He deserved, he said, "Now then, I am going to tell you something which (Allah) has written for me to say. I do not know; perhaps it portends my death, so whoever understands and remembers it, must narrate it to the others wherever his mount takes him, but if somebody is afraid that he does not understand it, then it is unlawful for him to tell lies about me. Allah sent Muhammad with the Truth and revealed the Holy Book to him, and among what Allah revealed, was the Verse of the Rajam (the stoning of married person (male & female) who commits illegal sexual intercourse, and we did recite this Verse and understood and memorized it. Allah's Apostle did carry out the punishment of stoning and so did we after him.

I am afraid that after a long time has passed, somebody will say, ‘By Allah, we do not find the Verse of the Rajam in Allah's Book,’ and thus they will go astray by leaving an obligation which Allah has revealed. And the punishment of the Rajam is to be inflicted to any married person (male & female), who commits illegal sexual intercourse, if the required evidence is available or there is conception or confession. And then we used to recite among the Verses in Allah's Book: ‘O people! Do not claim to be the offspring of other than your fathers, as it is disbelief (unthankfulness) on your part that you claim to be the offspring of other than your real father’ ..." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 82, Number 817; see also Vol. 9, No. 424)

Notice that this hadith mentions an additional verse, besides the one on stoning, which is not found in the Quran!

Thus, this passage was actually found within the Quran until Uthman decided to edit the alleged "revelations" according to his liking!

2- My response:

The many examples such as the one above that Shamoun provided don’t mean much and certainly don’t prove his point, because Muslims do know that the Noble Quran had 7 or so different variants among those who didn’t have the Noble Quran memorized. Shamoun brought nothing new! What Shamoun tried to do, however, is fabricate a new twist by deceiving the reader and telling him/her that it was Uthman who picked and chose what made the Noble Quran of today.

Let me help Mr. Shamoun understand what happened back then:

1- The Muslims had always had ONE TRUE CONSISTENT Noble Quran. The variant ones that came to existence from the time the Prophet, peace be upon him, died until the time Uthman became the 3^rd Islamic Caliph, they were among some of the Muslims who confused the Noble Quran’s Verses with some of the Prophets’ Hadiths (Sayings) and Duas (Prayers).

2- The reason why I pasted above the Narration that Mr. Shamoun posted on his article is because it will clearly refute his confusion once and for all. Despite the fact that Umar or Omar, the second Islamic Caliph, mistakenly thought VERY STRONGLY EVEN that the Rajm (stoning the married adulterer or adulteress to death) Law was a Noble Verse and not just a Hadith, but this still did not cause the Noble Quran to get corrupted by inserting into it a false Verse! To respond to Shamoun’s ridiculous comment in the last line of his words above, Uthman did not edit the Noble Quran as he liked! Uthman had the committee of those Scholars who had the entire Noble Quran Memorized come together and go through the ENTIRE NOBLE QURAN AND WROTE DOWN ON PAPER! Again, it was the committee of the Scholars who had the ENTIRE Noble Quran memorized! This clearly and irrefutably means that there was ONE PURE NOBLE QURAN! Not everyone agreed with it from the ordinary people, but nonetheless, it did exist and those Scholars were the ONES WHO WROTE IT ON PAPER!

3- Uthman did not play favoritism. The narration of Umar above CLEARLY PROVES that Uthman did not allow for any personal feelings or outside influences to effect the PURITY AND PERFECTION of the Noble Quran! Have Uthman played favoritism, then he would’ve included the false verse of Rajm Law in the Noble Quran. But since the Scholars who KNEW the Noble Quran and HAD IT MEMORIZED did not approve of the false verse and the many others that Mr. Shamoun listed in his article, then obviously these false verses that existed in the FALSE QURANS all had one fate; got burnt with fire, and ended the lies and alterations that would’ve destroyed Islam forever once and for all!!

4- Today, there is ONLY ONE ORIGINAL ARABIC NOBLE QURAN that Muslims follow. There are different English and other language translations to it of course, because translations are man-made and they all depend on the author’s writing style and abilities, but as far as the Arabic Noble Quran, which is the only thing that matters, there is only ONE ARABIC NOBLE QURAN TODAY!!

5- Allah Almighty through Uthman bin Affan, the 3^rd Islamic Caliph, Preserved His Holy Book from Corruption and man’s alterations, exactly as He, the Almighty, Promised:

"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly Guard it (from corruption). (The Noble Quran, 15:9)"

Allah Almighty Fulfilled His Divine Promise and Kept the Noble Quran Safe from corruption! All Praise Due to Him.

The claim that Allah Almighty allowed for the Noble Quran to get corrupt or that there was never a One Noble Quran is false! Hypocrites might have tried to create false qurans, but the liars and hypocrites who fooled some of the innocent, zealous and sincere Muslims ended up losing badly because all of their false books were burnt. All of the points that I mentioned above are all documented in great details especially in the first several links in my History of the Noble Quran’s Preservation section.

3- So what about Mr. Shamoun’s toilet-paper bible?

I usually don’t like to write this way because it looks childish and ridiculous, but I find it quite AMAZING and ABSOLUTELY HYPOCRATICAL that some of the polytheist trinitarian pagan missionaries thrive to death to disprove Islam in every way while their bible is NOTORIOUS in man’s alterations and COUNTLESS amount of textual and historical contradictions and errors!! So using Mr. Shamoun’s standards and logic above, we’re only left with the conclusion that his bible TO HIM, MR. SHAMOUN, is nothing but a toilet-paper book or something similar to that. Using Mr. Shamoun’s logic and standards, all you have to do is simply remove GOD Almighty’s Holy Name from the Bible and enjoy a long supply of toilet papers for your bathroom. Isn’t that right Mr. Shamoun? Isn’t your bible according to you sir a toilet-paper book?

I mean think about it. Mr. Shamoun knows that there is today ONE and ONLY ONE Arabic Noble Quran. He also recognizes as shown above and also in his article that the Muslims got rid of the false lies that were claimed for a period of time by hypocrites and liars who tried to fool some ordinary and simple Muslims by claiming that some of the lies were actual Divine Revelations from Allah Almighty. Yet, Mr. Shamoun so biasely and ridiculously rejects the Muslims’ Great Accomplishment in whipping out completely the lies that were meant to destroy Islam and in Preserving the Noble Quran INTO ONE and ONLY ONE Arabic Noble Quran.

But when it comes to Mr. Shamoun’s bible, it is ok for it to contain COUNTLESS errors and contradictions in it!! It is ok for the bible to contain all of the errors, shame and mistakes humanity could ever commit (as you’ll see in the next section below)!! But when it comes to Islam, the slightest issue counts 100 times heavier than what it is. Amazing indeed!!

Anyway, let us now look at a sample of Mr. Shamoun’s errors and contradictions in his bible to expose his hypocrisy to the reader:

Let us look at Jeremiah's claim about the Bible being altered to fit their purpose and cover up their shame:

"It also seems a bit inconsistent to say he believes the originals were inspired, when he has never seen them, they never were together in one single book and they no longer exist anyway. How does he know they were inspired? He accepts this by faith. Yet he seems to lack the faith to actually believe that God could do exactly what He said He would do with His words. God said He would preserve them and that heaven and earth would pass away but His words would not pass away."

Irrefutable contradictions, and proofs that the original authors of today's Bible are UNKNOWN!

Muslims and Christians both agree that the Noble Quran does not agree with today's Bible in everything. Just because the Bible might disagree on something in the Noble Quran, it doesn't at all negate the claim of the Noble Quran or make it false. There is a certain flow of logic that the Noble Quran presents which we the Muslims believe that it is the truth.

The Bible's contents today were not written by their original authors. For example, we read from the book of Matthew so many verses such as this one:

"...And as Jesus passed forth thence, HE (Jesus) saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and HE (Jesus) saith unto HIM (Matthew), follow ME (Jesus) and HE (Matthew) arose, and followed HIM (Jesus). (Matthew 9:9)"

Did "Matthew" write this about himself? Why then didn't Matthew write for example: "he (Jesus) saw ME, and my name is Matthew. I was sitting at the receipt of custom…" etc.

Similarly, we read in the books of Moses things such as "And the LORD said to Moses...", or "Moses went to that place....", etc... We also read in the Old Testament about Moses' burial. Now if Moses alone supposedly wrote his books, then how is it possible for him to write about his own burial when he is already dead??!!

Such evidence can be found in many places throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament. The so called "Original letters/Gospels" that were written in Greek and Hebrew, were written by third party people!

Consider the following few examples that consist of historical contradictions in the Bible:

II Samuel 10:18 talks about David slew the men of 700 chariots of the Syrians and 40,000 horsemen and Shobach the commander.
I Chronicles 1:18 says that David slew the men of 7000 chariots and 40,000 footmen

I Chronicles 9:25 says that Solomon had 4000 stalls for horses and chariots.
I Kings 4:26 says that he had 40,000 stalls for horses

Ezra 2:5 talks about an exile Arah having 775 sons.
Nehemiah 7:10 talks about the same exile Arah having 652 sons.

II Samuel 24:13 So God came to David, and told him, and said unto him, shall SEVEN YEARS OF FAMINE come unto thee in thy land? or will thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue. thee?
I Chronicles 21:11 SO God came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee. Either THREE YEARS OF FAMINE or three months to be destryed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee;

How did Judas die?
"And he cast down the pieces of silver into the temple and departed, and went out and hanged himself." (Matthew 27:5)
"And falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all of his bowels gushed out." (Acts 1:18)

2 Kings 24:8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 36:9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

How old was Ahaziah when he began to reign?

Also, your original scriptures are all doubtful according to the Bible's own theologians and historians. It's quite hilarious that even the Bible itself admits that it has been tampered with and corrupted by man's garbage:

"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

And regarding who wrote the books and gospels of the Bible, as I quoted above, here is a sample of what the NIV Bible's theologians and historians wrote:

"Serious doubts exists as to whether these verses belong to the Gospel of Mark. 3- 19 X 115 = 2185 Number 19 and BASMALA Miracle. The total numerical value of Noble Verses 74:30-37 themselves, which are the heart of the Number 19 Miracle, has a stunning Miracle in it. The value of these Noble Verses matches the multiplication of the BASMALA's number of letters (19 Letters) and their total numerical values (115): 19 X 115 = 2185. The Basmala, which full text in Arabic means "In the Name of Allah The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful" is the Key to the Glorious Quran. 4- The Glorious Quran has 114 Chapters. The sum of those Chapters is 6555 (1+2+...+114 = 6555). There are also 6236 Noble Verses in the Glorious Quran. Now, if you add each Chapter's number with the number of its Verses, then you get a list of numbers. So 1 (first Chapter) + 7 (# of its Verses) = 8. Do this for all Chapters.

1- The sum of the odd numbers from the list = 6555.
2- The sum of the even numbers from the list = 6236.

For example:
1- The explosion of the Universe, Galaxies and Stars bring about Smoke.

"When the sky disintegrates, and turns rose colored like paint (وردة كالدهان)." (The Noble Quran, 55:37) [2] [3]

As we also see from the picture, Noble Verse 55:37 could very well
also be a Divine Promise (Quran-Prophecy) that mankind will
actually see this come to pass one day. NASA and other space
agencies, by Allah Almighty's Will, have certainly fulfilled this
Prophecy, because a natural rose wouldn't form when a
"Heaven" or a Solar System or even an entire galaxy and its
trillions of solar systems all blow up (explode). It is rather the
look of it, and this is exactly what NASA confirms.

The Glorious Quran declares that the earth is spherical: [1]


Allah Almighty in the Glorious Quran said that earth is:
       - Spherical: "egg-shaped" [1].
       - Is rotating around itself.
       - Is moving in space in curvy orbits [2].
       - Is in constant motion.
       - Is suspended in space.
       - Is swimming in space.
       - Is traveling through the constantly expanding universe [3].
       - The sunsetless North Pole miracle in the Glorious Quran [4].

At the top of the North Pole, the sun never sets, and I showed the video for that, and also quoted the scientific sources for that. Also in the lands near by, it almost never sets either, and I quoted sources for that as well, and also showed pictures of the "polar night" skies on these lands.


He saw the Aurora Lights covering:
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, saw the aurora lights covering the horizons of space above the earth when he was taken up to Heaven:

Narrated Abdullah: "Regarding the Verse: “Indeed he (Muhammad) did see. Of the Signs of his Lord, The Greatest!” (Quran 53.18) That the Prophet had seen a green carpet spread all over the horizon of the sky قَالَ رَأَى رَفْرَفًا أَخْضَرَ سَدَّ أُفُقَ السَّمَاء." (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 456)

Regarding Dhil-Qarnayn (literally means "man of two horns"), Allah Almighty said this about his journey to the farthest northern lands and people:

‏18:90 حتى اذا بلغ مطلع الشمس وجدها تطلع على قوم لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر

"Until he reached near حتى اذا بلغ where the sun is up مطلع الشمس, he found it above وجدها تطلع على people قوم whom We made no cover for them from it لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر. (The Noble Quran, 18:90)"

Prophet Muhammad "did see" (Quran 53.18) the Aurora Lights covering the horizons above the earth from space. Dhil-Qarnayn went up to the farthest northern lands where the sun is up, and "Thus it was", Allah Almighty completed the "full knowledge" regarding Dhil-Qarnayn's mission. This further supports the story below about Dhil-Qarnayn's journey to the farthest northern lands and people (The sunsetless North Pole Quran-miracle).  They also spoke unintelligibly, the Quran says. They hardly spoke intelligibly (18:93). Historians have proven that the Barbarians of the North used to speak unintelligibly. The description of the people of the North, whose North Pole is truly sunsetless (see ample pictures), perfectly fits the Barbarians of the Vikings in the Scandinavian and other Barbarians in the near by lands:

Dhil-Qarnayn literally means "man of two horns"
Dhil = One who has.
قرنين Qarnayn = two horns.
Qarnayn is a dual plural of Qarn (horn).
Three or more horns is Quroon, in Arabic.

I believe Noble Verses 53:18 and 18:91 are prophetically linked together; that Prophet Muhammad also saw what Dhil-Qarnayn ذي القرنين saw. Also visit:

In the end, Allah Almighty uses the Glorious Quran to "...Thus doth God leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth..." (74:31). The infidels misuse the Glorious Quran to find "scientific errors". The Glorious Quran is Allah Almighty's Perfect Divine Holy Book. It contains no scientific error. I proved that this dogma has no truth what so ever and exposed the wrong Trinitarian English translation of Zechariah 12:10.
