Allah Almighty also promised in several Divine Prophecies that He will show the Glorious Quran's Miracles to mankind:

1-  The root letters for "message" and all of its derivatives occur 513 times throughout the Glorious Quran.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the Prophets' and Messengers' actual names (Muhammad, Moses, Noah, Abraham, Lot etc....) were also all mentioned 513 times in the Glorious Quran.  The detailed breakdown of all of this is thoroughly listed here.  This Miracle is covered in 100s (hundreds) of Noble Verses.

2-  Allah Almighty said that Prophet Noah lived for 950 years.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the entire Noble Surah (chapter Noah) is exactly written in 950 Letters.  You can thoroughly see the accurate count in the scanned images.

ABSTRACT

While Muhammad lived in Medina he grew in power. There were a number of Jews that opposed him.  Muhammad asked several of his followers to murder a number of these Jews.  One of these Jews was Kab b. al-Ashraf.  This article deals with Kab's murder.

INTRODUCTION

In Medina Muhammad began to experience opposition by the Jewish tribes living nearby. For the most part they rejected his message and Islam. The Jews had a weak informal treaty with Muhammad but they were not on good terms. One of the Jews, Kab b. al-Ashraf, vocally supported Muhammad's enemies, the Meccans, against Muhammad. He let it be known that he believed that Muhammad was a phoney - not a prophet at all.

I provide a lot of detail in this article; I want to quote the references in full to provide the proper context. I also quote the sources as they are written in English. Some of the words are arcane, but I want to present the words as they have been translated into English.

Kab was a Jew. He hated Muhammad. Kab never lifted a weapon against Muhammad or any Muslim, he only voiced his opinion against Muhammad, and made up some unsavory poems about Muslim women. Muhammad saw him as a threat, and therefore had him murdered in the night.

The Jews around Medina were not under Muhammad's rule; they had only entered into a general agreement with the Muslims, but this agreement was not a formal, established treaty. Muhammad did not have legal right to murder Kab, rather he took it upon himself to get rid of a man who hated him.

My Response

I would like to thank Silas for exposing himself. Note what Silas claims:

Kab was a Jew. He hated Muhammad. Kab never lifted a weapon against Muhammad or any Muslim, he only voiced his opinion against Muhammad, and made up some unsavory poems about Muslim women. Muhammad saw him as a threat, and therefore had him murdered in the night.

Silas is making the claim that Kab simply insulted Muhammad and some Muslim women, nothing else. As we shall shortly see, Kab did much worse than simply attack the prophet Muhammad and insult Muslim women.

We shall also see that Kab was not killed because of his insults to the prophet or the Muslims. He was killed for some other reason, which I shall be showing shortly.

However so, I would once again like to thank Silas for exposing himself, for proving that he is a cheap liar, and a typical missionary.

PRESENTATION OF ISLAMIC SOURCES

From Bukhari vol 5 #369: [Note, this is a very long Hadith. Also note the actual killer in this Hadith is another man named Muhammad bin Maslama. I have referred to him as Maslama.]

QUOTE FROM BUKHARI VOLUME 5, #369
"Narrated Jabir Abdullah: "Allah's messenger said "Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His apostle?" Thereupon Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's messenger! Would you like that I kill him?" The prophet said, "Yes". Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Ka'b). The prophet said, "You may say it."

Maslama went to Ka'b and said, "That man (i.e. Muhammad) demands Sadaqa (i.e. Zakat) [taxes] from us, and he has troubled us, and I have come to borrow something from you." On that, Ka'b said, "By Allah, you will get tired of him!" Maslama said, "Now as we have followed him, we do not want to leave him unless and until we see how his end is going to be. Now we want you to lend us a camel load or two of food." Ka'b said, "Yes, but you should mortgage something to me." Maslama and his companion said, What do you want?" Ka'b replied, "Mortgage your women to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our women to you and you are the most handsome of the Arabs?" Ka'b said, "Then mortgage your sons to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our sons to you? Later they would be abused by the people's saying that so and so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace, but we will mortgage our arms to you."

Maslama and his companion promised Ka'b that Maslama would return to him. He came to Ka'b at night along with Ka'b's foster brother, Abu Naila. Ka'b invited them to come into his fort and then he went down to them. His wife asked him, "Where are you going at this time?" Ka'b replied, None but Maslama and my (foster) brother Abu Naila have come." His wife said, "I hear a voice as if blood is dropping from him." Ka'b said, "They are none by my brother Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed.

Maslama went with two men. So Maslama went in together with two men, and said to them, "When Ka'b comes, I will touch his hair and smell it, and when you see that I have got hold of his head, strike him. I will let you smell his head."

Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes, and diffusing perfume. Maslama said, "I have never smelt a better scent than this." Ka'b replied, "I have got the best Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume." Maslama requested Ka'b "Will you allow me to smell your head?" Ka'b said "yes." Maslama smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Ka'b again, "Will you let me (smell your head)?" Ka'b said "Yes". When Maslama got a strong hold of him, he said (to his companions) "Get at him!" So they killed him and went to the prophet and informed him."

END OF BUKHARI QUOTE

Note here that:

1) Muhammad wanted this man killed because he had "Hurt Allah and His apostle!". Now then, how does a man hurt Allah?

2) Muhammad got someone else to do his dirty work. Muhammad did not partake in killing the man who was hurting Allah, and himself.

3) Muhammad allowed Maslama to lie to draw Ka'b out of his home to murder him.

My Response

As we shall shortly see, there is some more to this story. As to your summary points in which you claimed:

2) Muhammad got someone else to do his dirty work. Muhammad did not partake in killing the man who was hurting Allah, and himself.

We shall shortly see why the prophet Muhammad did not personally kill Kab but had someone else do it, this all has to do with what Kab did, which Silas has yet to mention

As to Silas’s third point in which he said:

3) Muhammad allowed Maslama to lie to draw Ka'b out of his home to murder him.

In warfare it is okay to lie to your enemy, most people will agree on me with this. Secondly why should Silas have any problems with lying? Since as we shall shortly see that he is the liar.

Now we will examine other source references to this event.

From Ibn Hisham's Sirat Rasul Allah ("The Life of the Prophet of God" - the oldest extant biography of Muhammad), page 365. The background to his murder is that after the battle of Badr, Ka'b b. al-Ashraf was horrified by Muhammad's victory, and the death of certain Arab leaders. I'll start with Kab's quote expressing his surprise at the Muslim victory.

QUOTE FROM THE SIRAT RASULALLAH
""Is this true? Did Muhammad actually kill these whom these two men mention? These are the nobles of the Arabs and kingly men; by God, if Muhammad has slain these people it were better to be dead than alive."  When the enemy of god became certain that the news was true he left the town and went to Mecca to stay with al-Muttalib who was married to Atika.  She took him in and entertained him hospitably.  He began to inveigh against the apostle and to recite verses in which he bewailed the Quraysh who were thrown into the pit after having been slain at Badr."

The Sirat now lists some of the poems made up by Ka'b and others, which I will not list. Ibn Hisham's narrative continues:

"Then he composed amatory verses of an insulting nature about the Muslim women. The apostle said - according to what Abdullah Burda told me, - "Who will rid me of Ibnu'l-Ashraf?" Maslama said, "I will deal with him for you, O apostle of God, I will kill him." He said, "Do so if you can." So Maslama returned and waited for three days without food or drink, apart from what was absolutely necessary. When the apostle was told of this he summoned him and asked him why he had given up eating and drinking. He replied that he had given him an undertaking and he did not know whether he could fulfill it. The apostle said, "All that is incumbent upon you is that you should try." He said, "O apostle of god, we shall have to tell lies." He answered, "Say what you like, for you are free in the matter."

Thereupon he and Silkan [Abu Naila], and Abbad, and Harith, and Abu Abs Jabr conspired together and sent Silkan to the enemy of God, Ka'b b. Ashraf, before they came to him. He talked to him some time and they recited poetry one to the other, for Silkan was fond of poetry. Then he said, O Ibn Ashraf, I have come to you about a matter which I want to tell you of and wish you to keep secret." "Very well", he replied. He went on , "The coming of this man is a great trial to us. It has provoked the hostility of the Arabs, and they are all in league against us. The roads have become impassable so that our families are in want and privation, and we and our families are in great distress. Ka'b answered, "By god, I kept telling you O Ibn Salama, that the things I warned you of would happen." Silkan said to him, 'I want you to sell us food and we will give you a pledge of security and you deal generously in the matter." He replied, "Will you give me your sons as a pledge?" He said, "You want to insult us. I have friends who share my opinion and I want to bring them to you so that you many sell to them and act generously, and we will give you enough weapons for a good pledge." Silkan's object was that he should not take alarm at the sight of weapons when they brought them. Ka'b answered, "Weapons are a good pledge."

Thereupon Silkan returned to his companions, told them what has happened, and ordered them to take their arms. Then they went away and assembled with him and met the apostle."

Thaur told me the apostle walked with them as far as Gharqad. Then he sent them off, saying, "Go in God's name; O God help them." So saying, he returned to his house. Now it was a moonlight night and they journeyed on until they came to his castle, and Abu Naila called out to him. He had only recently married and he jumped up in the bedsheet, and his wife took hold of the end of it and said, "You are at war, and those who are at war do not go out at this hour." He replied, "It is Abu Naila. Had he found me sleeping he would not have woken me." She answered, "by god, I can feel evil in his voice." Ka'b answered, "Even if the call were for a stab a brave man must answer it."

So he went down and talked to them for some time, while they conversed with him. then Abu Naila said, "Would you like to walk with us to Shib al-ajmuz, so that we can talk for the rest of the night?" "If you like", he answered, so they went off walking together; and after a time Abu Naila ran his hand through his hair. Then he smelt his hand, and said, "I have never smelt a scent finer than this." They walked on farther and he did the same so that Ka'b suspected no evil. Then after a space did it for the third time and cried, "Smite the enemy of God!" So they smote him, and their swords clashed over him with no effect. Maslama said, "I remembered my dagger when I saw that our swords were useless, and I seized it. Meanwhile the enemy of god had made such a noise that every fort around us was showing a light. I thrust it into the lower part of his body, then I bore down upon it until I reached his genitals, and the enemy of God fell to the ground.

Harith had been hurt, being wounded either in his head or in his foot, one of our swords having stuck him. We went away, passing by the Umayya and then the Qurayza and then both until we went up the Harra of Urayd. Our friend Harith had lagged behind, weakened by loss of blood, so we waited for him for some time until he came up, following our tracks. We carried him and brought him to the apostle at the end of the night. We saluted him as he stood praying, and he came out to us and we told him that we had killed god's enemy. He spat upon our comrade's wounds, and both he and we returned to our families. Our attack upon god's enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jew in Median who did not fear for his life.

END OF QUOTE OF THE SIRAT RASUL ALLAH

My Response

I find it very sad, that Silas cannot mention the whole story, he got very close to doing so, but couldn’t show more, the closest he got is when he mentioned this:

So as we see now, there is a bit more to this story, note also that the Sirat Silas quotes expose him as a liar, note what Silas said earlier:

Kab was a Jew. He hated Muhammad. Kab never lifted a weapon against Muhammad or any Muslim, he only voiced his opinion against Muhammad, and made up some unsavory poems about Muslim women. Muhammad saw him as a threat, and therefore had him murdered in the night.

Why did not Silas also mention the fact that Kab went to the prophet Muhammad’s enemy and incited against Muhammad with them? Why did Silas leave this valuable information out?

As we can see already, Kab did not simply insult the prophet Muhammad and Muslim women. He did much more, he went to the prophet’s enemies and incited against Muhammad alongside them. So this just exposes Silas as a liar. However I will shortly quote the whole story, of what Kab actually did with those Qurayshi enemies.

He Wrote

Ibn Sa'd's Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir adds another interesting feature to this story. From the Tabaqat, vol 2, page 37:

"Then they cut his head and took it with them. ..... they cast his head before him [Muhammad]. He (the prophet) praised Allah on his being slain."

END OF IBN SA'D QUOTE

Note what really happened here. Ka'b encouraged Muhammad's enemies, and made up some poems about Muslim women. Muhammad didn't like it, and had him murdered. After they kill Ka'b, they behead him and bring the head to Muhammad. When Muhammad sees his head, Muhammad praises God for Ka'b being slain!

My Response

This gets better by the minute, now note how Silas changes his tone from what he earlier said:

Note what really happened here. Ka'b encouraged Muhammad's enemies

So now Silas admits that Kab did incite Muhammad’s enemies against him, however so at the beginning of his article, Silas made it seem that all Kab did was insult the prophet and Muslim women! This just shows you why you can never trust a missionary.

Silas even shoots himself in the foot when he says that. Note, Silas admits that KAB INCITED MUHAMMAD’S ENEMIES AGAINST HIM. In other words, Kab incited the Quyraysh to FIGHT AND KILL MUHAMMAD. However so Silas wants to ignore that! Silas has no problem with people who try to kill and fight God’s true messenger Muhammad, Silas has a problem when the prophet Muhammad retaliates against them!

So I could just stop here, Silas refutes himself, Silas shows that it was Kab who incited the Quraysh to go kill and fight Muhammad, therefore the prophet Muhammad had every right to go and send someone to kill Kab for doing such a thing. There was no injustice done at all, Kab incited people to kill Muhammad and Muslims, so therefore he became an enemy, it doesn’t matter if Kab did not raise a weapon. Using that logic then that means that every accomplice in a murder case is free to go since they never really committed the crime, they just helped out!

In today’s legal system, if you incite murder that is seen as a crime and you yourself are guilty of murder as well. This is exactly what Kab did; he incited murder and violence, so therefore he was taken care of.

Also Silas further exposes himself when he tries to take a cheap shot at the prophet Muhammad when states:

Muhammad didn't like it

Tell me what man would like it if some one was inciting people to come kill you, and to come fight you.

QUESTIONS

1) Did Muhammad abide by the treaty he had with the Jews? Was it right to murder one of their leaders under cover of night, as criminals would?

2) What does this say for true law? If Kab were a real criminal, couldn't Muhammad have dealt with him according to the local law or treaty he had with the Jews?

3) What are the implications for Islamic society?  In effect, can Muslims murder in the night those who oppose them or Islam?  At that time, the Islamic state did not rule over the Jews around Medina.

4) What does this say about the real character of Muhammad?  How would such actions be judged in America today?

5) What other types of people dispatch men to commit murder in the night?

My Response

Silas seems to enjoy twisting things around, he seems to enjoy ignoring the fact that it was Kab who was inciting people to come and kill the prophet Muhammad, and he was doing this during the time of war.

I am grateful that Silas says:

4) What does this say about the real character of Muhammad?  How would such actions be judged in America today?

America has gone to war attacking people who have incited and planned attacks against them. Just like the prophet Muhammad did against Kab, he attacked Kab for inciting and planning attacks against the Muslims. So therefore you have no point in bringing America up.

Secondly, since you bring America up as if to show America is a leader by example, what do you have to say about gay marriages? The porn industry, and many other sick things. Does Silas view gay marriages as something okay? Does Silas view pornography as something normal? If not, then what’s the point in bringing America up? It’s not like America is a country who leads by example.

Silas also says:

5) What other types of people dispatch men to commit murder in the night?

The American army does! The United States of America does that, the country you brought up! Talk about being dumb! (No offense)

Now Silas seems to have double standards when it comes to people getting killed. Silas has a problem when the prophet Muhammad kills a criminal, yet Silas has no problem when his God murders innocent children!

Deuteronomy
Chapter 2

32-37

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. 36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us

Deuteronomy
Chapter 3

1-7

1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. 3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many. 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves

The bible also commands people to kill others if they worship other Gods:

Deuteronomy
Chapter 13

6-18

6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, 13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; 14 Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; 15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. 17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; 18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.

So Silas must stay a bit consistent in the way he deals with things. If the prophet Muhammad is not a prophet for killing a criminal, then Silas’s God is doubly not God for not only killing people, but for killing innocent children!

He Wrote

CONCLUSION

We see a cold blooded murder take place. Muhammad took things into his own hands, and murdered a man who verbally opposed him. This was a brutal murder. A man was tricked by his former friends, who were now Muslims, into coming out to help them. Once out, they murdered him.

Once again, when Muhammad was confronted with a challenge, he dealt with it in a violent fashion. When he lived in Mecca, prior to his flight to Medina, Muhammad was weak and unable to use force to obtain his wants. But after he gained power, he used it to his own advantage, to accomplish his desires. He had become a law unto himself.

This is not the action of a real prophet of God.

My Response

More and more twisting from Silas, the prophet Muhammad killed Kab because Kab incited people to kill Muhammad. So therefore no crime was done.

As for the actions of a real prophet, would you mind telling us what they are? Or maybe I should tell you? I think I will tell you, according to Silas these are the actions of real prophets:

2 Samuel 11: 1-27 :

And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem. 2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. 3 And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? 4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house. 5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David. 7 And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered. 8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king. 9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house. 10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house? 11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing. 12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow. 13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah. 15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die. 16 And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were. 17 And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also. 18 Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war; 19 And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king, 20 And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall? 21 Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also. 22 So the messenger went, and came and showed David all that Joab had sent him for. 23 And the messenger said unto David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out unto us into the field, and we were upon them even unto the entering of the gate. 24 And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants; and some of the king's servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also. 25 Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him. 26 And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband. 27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

So David not only has sex with his neighbours wife. He is also responsible for the death of his mistresses husband!

17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD. 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. 21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. 22 But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. 23 And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. 24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. 25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. 26 And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. 27 So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

So Joshua the prophet killed all men and women.

So tell us Silas, what are the actions of a real prophet? As we can see, Joshua had no problem in killing the enemies of God. So why do you have a problem with the prophet Muhammad killing an enemy of God?

He Wrote

MUHAMMAD COMPARED TO JESUS' WORDS

Jesus said to the Jews who sought to kill him in John 8:42-44 -

"...If God were your Father you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Jesus points out that the sons of Satan are liars and murderers. Muhammad followed in those same footsteps, he taught lying was okay, and Muhammad had men murdered in cold blood.

My Response

If Muhammad followed in those footsteps, so did Joshua, and so did Moses, for they not only killed, they killed women and children:

Numbers 31: 7-18 :

They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men.  All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle.  They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the swordThen the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder.  They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived.  After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp.  But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle.  "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded.  "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount PeorThey are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people.  Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a manOnly the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

So therefore Moses is not a prophet either. So Once again, thank you Silas for exposing yourself. I couldn’t really ask for more.

Now anyway, here is the story of Kab and why he was killed.

Taken from

The Life of the Prophet Muhammad volume III by Ibn Kathir.

THE KILLING OF KA’B B. AL-SHRAF, THE JEW

Ibn Ishaq stated, Ka’b b. al-Ashraf was of the Ta’I tribe, of the sub-tribe of Banu Nabhan, though his mother was of Banu al-Nadir. He received news of the deaths of those at Badr after the arrival of Zayd b. Al- Haritha and ‘Abd Allah b. Rawaha. He commented, ‘ By God, if Muhammad has really struck down those people, then better be inside the earth than upon it!

“When this enemy of God was sure of this news, he left for Mecca, where he visited al-Muttalib b. Abu Wada’a b.Dubayrat al- Samhi, whose wife was ‘Atika, daughter of Abu al- Is b. Ummayya b. ‘Abd Shams b. ‘Abd Manaf. She accommodated him graciously AND HE BEGAN INSTIGATING AN ATTACK UPON THE MESSENGER OF GOD (SAAS) speaking verses and mourning the deaths of those polytheists killed at Badr.”

Here Ibn Ishaq gave his poem which begins with the verse,

“The Badr millstone ground to death those killed there,

and for the like of Badr one speaks and weeps.”

He also gave the response to this poem by Hassan b. Thabit, may God be pleased with him, as well as verse by others.

He went on, Ka’b then returned to Medina where he composed verses suggestive about the Muslim women and critical of the prophet (SAAS) and his followers.

Musa b. Uqba stated, “Ka’b b. al- Ashraf was of Banu al-Nadir, or associated with them, he harmed the messenger of God (SAAS) by ridiculing him in verse AND HE RODE TO QURAYSH TO INCITE THEM FURTHER. Abu Sufyan, in Mecca, asked him, ‘ In your view, I pray you tell me, which religion is more favored by God, that of Muhammad and his friends, or our own? Which of us do you think, is more correct and appropriate? We slaughter our meat generously, give milk-topped water to drink, providing food for all sundry who come.’

Ka’b b al-Ashraf replied, ‘ You are better-guided in your path than they are.’ Pg. 6-7

So as you can all see, Ka’b was the one who started the trouble, he not only insulted the prophet Muhammad. He went to the prophet’s enemies, and incited them against Muhammad, he obviously incited them to fight and kill the prophet Muhammad. So therefore as we see, Ka’b was not innocent, nor did he just insult the prophet and the Muslims, he instigated violence and murder and was rightly punished.

What is even more interesting to note from that account is that Ka’b even compromised his own faith! Note what he said in response to Abu Sufyan:

Abu Sufyan, in Mecca, asked him, ‘ In your view, I pray you tell me, which religion is more favored by God, that of Muhammad and his friends, or our own? Which of us do you think, is more correct and appropriate? We slaughter our meat generously, give milk-topped water to drink, providing food for all sundry who come.’

Ka’b b al-Ashraf replied, ‘ You are better-guided in your path than they are.’

This exposes Ka’b’s hypocrisy, the Quraysh were idol worshipers, they believed in around 360 idols, including Hubal. The Torah, which is the book that Ka’b believes in, condemns such idol worship, and condemns the worship of Hubal, yet Ka’b told them that they are better guided than Muslims! If Ka’b was an honest good person, he would have said that both you and the Muslims are on the wrong path, rather he compromised his own faith which is so against idol worship. This just shows the hypocrisy of Ka’b.

In fact, if you read the OT, Ezekiel and Isaiah, you will find God cursing and killing the children of Israel for idol worship! Yet Ka’b the Jew, has no problem in idol worship and goes as far as telling the idol worshipers that they are better guided!

What makes this all the more interesting is that the prophet Muhammad was calling people to come worship one God, the prophet Muhammad did not call people to idols, yet Ka’b still insists that idol worshippers are better than people who call people to the one true God, which is the same message of Ka’b’s own book, the Torah! So as we see, Ka’b is also a hypocrite, and he also compromised his own belief. In fact he would most likely be killed by Moses and the prophets of the OT for claiming idol worship is something good, and is a better path than worshiping the one and true God.

What does Silas have to say about Ka’b’s hypocrisy? I can tell you most Jews would most likely be disgusted by such hypocrisy, yet Silas seems fond of trying to make it seem that Ka’b was killed mainly on the fact he was a Jew. As we see, Ka’b was anything but a true Jew, he was a hypocrite.

Continuing with the story:

Musa went on, “ And so God revealed to his Messenger the verses: “Have you not considered those given a part of the Book who believe in enchantment and devils, and who say to those who disbelieve, “ These are better guided on the path than those who believe (in God). “ They are indeed cursed by God; those whom God curses you shall find to be without succour’ ” ( surat al-Nisa; IV, v.51,2).

Both Musa and Ibn Ishaq stated further, “ He went to Medina where he proclaimed his enmity and INCITED PEOPLE TO GO TO WAR. He had not left Mecca BEFORE HE HAD UNITED THEM TO FIGHT THE MESSENGER OF GOD (SAAS); he then began composing amatory verses about Umm al-Fadl b. al-Harith and other Muslim women. Pg. 7

So again as you see, Ka’b incited people to war, and he managed to unite the enemies of the prophet Muhammad to go and fight against him, to kill him and the Muslims.

Since Silas brought up the issue of how people would deal with this in the present day world, we will be more than happy in telling him how people would act to this.

In today’s world if you incite war, violence, and murder, you will be labelled as a criminal, and you will be punished, sometimes you will also be severely punished depending on the outcome of your incitement of violence etc.

Not only was Ka’b inciting hatred, war, and murder. He was inciting these actions against a prophet of God, so therefore double the crime. So the prophet Muhammad rightly punished him.

Now I earlier stated:

2) Muhammad got someone else to do his dirty work. Muhammad did not partake in killing the man who was hurting Allah, and himself.

We shall shortly see why the prophet Muhammad did not personally kill Kab but had someone else do it, this all has to do with what Kab did, which Silas has yet to mention

Once we read the entire story, which Silas couldn’t show us, it becomes perfectly clear as to why the prophet Muhammad sent someone else to kill Ka’b.

Just like Ka’b incited people to fight the prophet Muhammad, telling them to kill him and so on. The prophet returned the favor, just like Ka’b told people to fight Muhammad and kill him, the prophet Muhammad told the Muslims who would go fight and kill Ka’b. Had Ka’b directly went and tried to kill the prophet, the prophet would then directly go and kill Ka’b. However so, Ka’b told others to go kill Muhammad and to fight him, after the prophet Muhammad found out, he told the Muslims who would go fight and kill Ka’b.

So as we see, Ka’b the hypocrite was the one who started all the problems, for himself, and for the Muslims. The prophet Muhammad did not have Ka’b killed because he insulted the prophet or the Muslims, the prophet had Ka’b killed because Ka’b was instigating others to kill Muhammad. He was rightly punished for that crime; Ka’b was not an innocent man by any means. Once you go instigate violence, hatred, and murder against God’s prophet, you are bound to get punished. Ka’b the hypocrite brought this upon himself.

Praise Allah, and may Allah continue to send his blessings and peace on the prophet Muhammad. Ameen.

Appendix

Am I being rude?

Now some may object to my comments regarding Silas when I said:

However so, I would once again like to thank Silas for exposing himself, for proving that he is a cheap liar, and a typical missionary.

AND

So this just exposes Silas as a liar

Some may object to my calling him a liar, and a typical missionary. However so, I stand by my comments, as anyone reading the rebuttal will clearly see that I did in fact SHOW and PROVE that Silas is indeed a liar, and distorts things around. I even quoted his own words which shows how he changes his stance from to another, such as when he first claimed:

Kab was a Jew. He hated Muhammad. Kab never lifted a weapon against Muhammad or any Muslim, he only voiced his opinion against Muhammad, and made up some unsavory poems about Muslim women. Muhammad saw him as a threat, and therefore had him murdered in the night.

AND THEN LATER ON SAID:

Note what really happened here. Ka'b encouraged Muhammad's enemies, and made up some poems about Muslim women. Muhammad didn't like it, and had him murdered. After they kill Ka'b, they behead him and bring the head to Muhammad. When Muhammad sees his head, Muhammad praises God for Ka'b being slain!

So as you can all see how he lied. At first he said Kab simply attacked the prophet Muhammad and the Muslims. Later on he added that Kab also went to the prophets enemies and encouraged them to fight Muhammad etc.

So this is enough proof to show he distorts, and lies. He realized he was first wrong, so later on tried to correct this, however so he still tried to not make a big deal of the issue of Kab going to Muhammads enemies to instigate them to fight him.

This however completely misses the whole point of Silas’s article! The prophet Muhammad killed Ka’b the hypocrite on this very fact, the fact that he instigated his enemies to fight and kill him!

The fact that Silas could not even quote the whole story, but just a small part of it shows he had something to hide, and did not want to give the whole story which further proves that he is a deceiver.

So therefore in light of all this, I may seem rude and offensive to Silas from his point of view, but as anyone can see, me calling Silas a liar and so on is not just a cheap shot aimed at him, but it’s a fact and I clearly proved it. As they say, the truth hurts.

I personally have no problem with Silas, or any other writer on Answering Islam, including Shamoun. However so, if I see clear distortions and blatant false information, I will not hesitate to point this out and call the author on it.

Just like the writers on Answering Islam would.
