1-  Allah Almighty's Divine Claims:

The Holy Quran and Islam are filled with scientific statements and notions.  These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe.  What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries.  Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood.  The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.

Allah Almighty Said: "We will show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?  (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

With this said, let us what Allah Almighty Said in the Glorious Quran:

But there is another great Miracle which Noble Verses 21:104 and 39:67 covers, and that is the phenomenon that is called the Space Fabric, which was just recently discovered and confirmed by the scientists.  Space, as we know it, is not really a space or a void entity.  It is, instead, filled with space fabric, cosmic webs, a firm balance between planetary, solar and galactic gravities, layers, gases, and a great variety of matter.  Scientists have also confirmed that it is definitely possible to fold space to shorten a distance between two points.  So if two galaxies are a number of billion of light years away from each others, it is possible to fold the space between them to bring them together. 

Now of course, while this is not possible for us, humans, to do in space, especially on a large scale of this kind, but scientists have confirmed that it is definitely doable in space, because space is made of "Space Fabric".  NASA has also just recently confirmed, only 9 years ago, that Space is like a "sheet of paper".  So certainly, when Allah Almighty Said, in Noble Verses 21:104 and 39:67, that He will "roll up" or "fold up" the Universe during the Cosmic Crunch, "as the rolling or folding of scrolls (or paper)", this certainly and without a doubt leaves us with a stunning Divine Statement and Miracle from the Sovereign Creator of this Universe.  Indeed, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone!

The two key Arabic Words in the Noble Verses 21:104 and 39:67 are the following:

نطوي  (we fold/roll) and مطويات (rolled up) are derived from the root words, طوى (folded) and طوي (to fold).
