1- Earthquakes do occur before volcanoes. Notice how Allah Almighty in the Noble Verses said that the earth will quake first and then it will eject its heavy loads.

2- After earthquakes, if volcanoes were to occur, they in turn cause for the earth to eject its heavy metals/rocks from its core.

3- The earth's athqal (heavy weights) are not located on the earth's surface, but rather in the deep core of the earth, and they can only be *naturally* brought out through a violent eruption (volcano): "and the earth then disgorges its charges (athqalaha)" (99:2).

4- When the entire earth quakes, all of its athqal (weights) will be brought out because 100s, if not even thousands, of volcanoes will simultaneously violently erupt.

It is first of all important to know that Arabia has no volcanoes, and almost no earthquakes. It is definitely confirmed that there are no earthquakes in the region where the Holy Cities of Mecca and Medina reside (the places where Prophet Muhammad lived most of his life in). It is also confirmed that Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, never saw a volcano in his entire life, and most likely he never felt an earthquake either. Yet, we see in the Glorious Quran a Divine Statement from Allah Almighty that Says that earthquakes happen before volcanoes.

It is an established scientific fact that earthquakes happen before volcanoes. This is a geological scientific fact that no one on earth would argue against. It is indeed amazing to see such Scientific accuracy in the Glorious Quran about the earth shaking first before throwing out its heavy burdens (through volcanoes) in a Holy Book that was revealed to a person who lived in a time where his region never witnessed a single volcano, and hardly any earthquake, if any actually even happened.

Some, but not all, earthquakes are related to volcanoes. For example, most earthquakes are along the edges of tectonic plates. This is where most volcanoes are too. However, most earthquakes are caused by the interaction of the plates not the movement of magma.

Most earthquakes directly beneath a volcano are caused by the movement of magma. The magma exerts pressure on the rocks until it cracks the rock. Then the magma squirts into the crack and starts building pressure again. Every time the rock cracks it makes a small earthquake. These earthquakes are usually to weak to be felt but can be detected and recorded by sensitive instruments. Once the plumbing system of the volcano is open and magma is flowing through it, constant earthquake waves, called harmonic tremor, are recorded (but not felt)." (Source)

Aersols have a lifetime of 1-3 yrs, so tropospheric cooling will occur over this time frame. The eruption of Mt. Pinatubo volcano in the Philippines in 1991 caused a short-term global cooling of 0.5°C. Volcanic aerosols injected into the stratosphere can provide surfaces for ozone-destroying reactions. Therefore, large, sulfur-rich eruptions (e.g. Mount Pinatubo ) may result in decreased ozone concentration. Abundance of ozone may affect ultraviolet and longwave radiative fluxes, although no clear relationship between ozone abundance and global temperature has been established.

Over the course of millions of years, large volumes of volcanic ash deposited in oceans can provide iron to seawater. This iron can promote biotic activity to remove CO2 from the oceans, and hence from the atmosphere, resulting in global cooling. Over the course of weeks to years, ongoing production of ash from volcanoes may locally change climate by modifying the “dustiness” of the local atmosphere. Recent work suggests that large eruptions may trigger El Nino climate events.

However, Quaternary eruptions in New Mexico are unlikely to have had significant climatic affects because the eruptions either (1) may have emitted sulfur, but were of low volume and explosivity (mostly basaltic eruptions); or (2) were of high volume and explosivity, such as the Bandelier Tuff, but didn't contain sulfur in the magma and hence didn’t emit sulfur during the eruption." "If we go out to any oceanic crust and pick up a rock, it will be made of basalt. This is a type of rock that is about 50% silica, with relatively enriched magnesium, iron and calcium compared to most continental rocks. Typically a fresh (unweathered) basalt is pretty dark or black, due to the presence of the heavy metals. Basalts are the typical rock type that will result when any chunk of the mantle is melted and the lighter material separated and then cooled. Since most of the Earth's surface is covered by basaltic ocean floor, it is the most common rock found on the surface of the Earth.

In contrast to andesitic rocks that are erupted in arc volcanoes, molten basalt is a low viscosity, runny magma type. This is because basalt is relatively low in silica (which makes andesite magmas sticky). As a result, basalt builds up very broad volcanoes called shield volcanoes, with layer upon layer of flows and underground injections. The viscosity is about the same as that of chunky soups, so steep-sided volcanic edifices cannot be built up by basaltic eruptions. This runny nature of basalt magmas is also a factor in preventing rift volcanoes from building up large pressures for explosive eruptions. The volcanoes tend not to plug themselves up with sticky rock nearly as effectively as in arc volcanoes. Combined with eruption under water, which causes the gasses and other volatiles to remain in solution in the rock, effusive eruptions result." (Source)

Work in past months had shown that a wide variety of material was exploded from Kilauea then, mostly cherry-sized scoria and other fine-grained material. However, several times explosions were apparently more violent or powerful. They ejected large, heavy rocks, much like those from the 1924 explosions that litter the surface around Halema`uma`u today. The question we asked was how far out were such rocks thrown?" (Source)

Kilauea is known as a drive-in volcano, but sometimes it can be a volcano to run away from as fast as possible! Energetic explosions of solid rock occur every few decades to centuries, about as often as Mount St. Helens erupts. The sizes of these explosive eruptions range from mere snorts (Pu‘u ‘O‘o in 1987, 1991, and 1996) to powerful steam explosions in the caldera (Halema’uma’u in 1924). Even more impressive is a series of explosions that significantly impacted areas beyond the caldera (Keanakako‘i explosions in 1500-1790) and truly mammoth explosions that shot heavy rocks more than 13 km (8 miles) into the air (the newly recognized Kulanaokuaiki tephra, ca. AD 800). Don Swanson, geologist at the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, describes these events, speculates on what caused them, and lists some potential consequences to the community when they occur in the future." And these "heavy rocks" are mostly made up of metals and heavy metals as clearly mentioned above.

Let us first of all take a look at the English translations of Noble Verses 99:1-4 above:

There is no question that "akhrajat" اخرجت in Noble Verses 99:1-4 means to expel or to bring out from within. When Allah Almighty said that the earth will bring out or unload its athqal after the earthquake (zilzal) in Noble Verses , then He clearly and indisputably meant the weights that the earth is carrying inside itself.

In Arabic, "weight lifting," as in working out and lifting weights, is called "rafe'a athqal."

Let us look at Noble Verses 16:7 and 29:13 to see what "athqal" means in the Noble Quran:

There is no question that athqal means loads and/or weights. And again, when Allah Almighty said that the earth will bring out or unload its athqal after the earthquake (zilzal) in Noble Verses 99:1-4, then He clearly and indisputably referred to the weights that the earth is carrying inside itself.

Again, the Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.

1- Earthquakes do occur before volcanoes. Notice how Allah Almighty in Noble Verses 99:1-4 said that the earth will quake first and then it will eject its heavy loads.

Geologist have already proven that when earthquakes do occur in the areas where the earth's heaviest metals reside in its core, then the heaviest and most devastating volcanoes are likely to erupt in those areas.

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, lived in the middle of the desert where there were no earthquakes and no volcanoes. He most definitely never witnessed a volcano in his entire life, and most probably never witnessed an earthquake either! Most definitely, volcanoes never happened in Arabia during his days. Again, in fact, according to Dr. Zaghlool Al-Naggar, one of the world's top seven geologists, the Holy city of Mecca is sitting on top of the most protected area on earth from any volcanic eruption. The fact that earthquakes happen before volcanoes, and the fact that the earth's heaviest and most devastating volcanoes occur in the areas where the earth's heaviest metals (athqal) reside in its core clearly and indisputably shows that Allah Almighty's Divine Claim in Noble Verses 99:1-4 was indeed scientifically accurate.

The key thing here to notice and remember is Allah Almighty's mentioning of the earth's quake and violent eruption. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, who might have witnessed an earthquake (very highly doubtful), but definitely never witnessed a volcano, could not have come up with this statement on his own about the earthquake happening first and then the volcano next. Also, in light of the facts that Allah Almighty did mention that He sent down iron from space, made the earth egg-shaped [2] [3], made earth into seven layers, the earth's faults that cause earthquakes, Mountains prevent the earth from shaking, and talked about the earth's motion in space and around its own axle in numerous Noble Verses [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], which had all been scientifically proven to be true, makes it even more and more convincing that we indeed have a beautiful Divine Package of Scientific Noble Verses that talk about earth and many of the things that are tied to it.

"We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and INSIDE THEIR SELVES, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

دحا (daha): دفعه و رمى به (dafa'aahu wa ramaa bih) Caused it to move, pushed it, or threw it.

دحا الصبي المِدحاةَ أي دفع الصبي المِدحاةَ Daha the boy the rolling toy, means the boy pushed the rolling toy.

3- To make something roll, as in DAHA the barrel from the top of the hill, which means he rolled it down from the top of the hill. Also, this is where the Arabic word DAHRAJA is derived from, which means to make something roll down.

4- To make something round. I used several examples for ROUND AND BULGED TUMMY, and making round objects. I even used a Hadith from Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, when he said:

In Prophet Muhammad's Hadith: كان لأسامة بطننٌ مُندحٌ اي متسع Osama had a round and big tummy.

الدحداح هو المستدير الململم The dahdaah is the person who is ROUND and STOCKY.

و بطنٌ مُنداحُ أي خارخٌ مُدوّر His tummy is mun-daahun means it is OUT THERE AND ROUND مُدوّر.

So when Allah Almighty DAHA THE EARTH, it means that Allah Almighty EXPANDED IT SPHERICALLY through rotating around itself and moving in its orbit in space. And this is why Allah Almighty Said after that (after He DAHAHA), He brought forth from it its water and pasture. Science has proven this to be 100% accurate and True:

Allah Almighty in the Glorious Quran said that earth is:

       - Spherical: "egg-shaped" [1].
       - Is rotating around itself.
       - Is moving in space in curvy orbits [2].
       - Is in constant motion.
       - Is suspended in space.
       - Is swimming in space.
       - Is traveling through the constantly expanding universe [3].

At the top of the North Pole, the sun never sets [4], and I showed the video for that, and also quoted the scientific sources for that. They also spoke almost unintelligibly (18:93), the Glorious Quran says. They hardly spoke intelligibly (18:93). Historians have proven that the Barbarians of the North used to speak unintelligibly. The actual meaning of the word "Barbarian" is someone who speaks unintelligibly.

Regarding Dhil-Qarnayn (literally means "man of two horns"), Allah Almighty said this about his journey to the farthest northern lands and people:

"Until he reached near حتى اذا بلغ where the sun is up مطلع الشمس, he found it above وجدها تطلع على people قوم whom We made no cover for them from it لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر. (The Noble Quran, 18:90)"

Prophet Muhammad "did see" (Quran 53.18) the Aurora Lights covering the horizons above the earth from space. Dhil-Qarnayn went up to the farthest northern lands where the sun is up, and "Thus it was", Allah Almighty completed the "full knowledge" regarding Dhil-Qarnayn's mission. This further supports the story below about Dhil-Qarnayn's journey to the farthest northern lands and people (The sunsetless [4] North Pole Quran-miracle). They also spoke almost unintelligibly (18:93), the Glorious Quran says. They hardly spoke intelligibly (18:93). For example, can you read or say this:

"Vaðlaheiðarvegavinnuverkfærageymsluskúrslyklakippuhringurinn" ?? This is an actual word. Historians have proven that the Barbarians of the North used to speak unintelligibly. The actual meaning of the word "Barbarian" is someone who speaks unintelligibly. The description of the people of the North, whose North Pole is truly sunsetless (see ample pictures), perfectly fits the Barbarians of the Vikings in the Scandinavian and other Barbarians in the near by lands:

The early Muslims believed that Dhil Qarnayn reached the people of the farthest norths of the earth. The following is a map of Al-Sharif Al-Idrisi in year 1154 giving the geographic location of where Dhil Qarnayn went according to the understanding of the early Muslims of Noble Verses 18:83-100:

Dhil-Qarnayn literally means "man of two horns"

Dhil = One who has.
قرنين Qarnayn = two horns.
Qarnayn is a dual plural of Qarn (horn).
Three or more horns is Quroon, in Arabic.

In this Hadith, above, he certainly seems to have known this fact very well. And this Hadith is even older than Sahih Bukhari. It is important to know that Imam Bukhari and others have declared that they have discarded thousands of Hadiths:

"The two sahih collections did not gather the totality of the authentic ahadith as proved by al-Bukhari's testimony: "I have not included in my book al-Jami` but what is authentic, and I left out among the authentic for fear of [excessive] length."
