[004:125] Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to God, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For God did take Abraham for a friend.

[004:125] Can there be any one with a better way of life than the person who submits his will to (the will of) Allah, performs the righteous deeds and follows the creed of Ibraheem, the devotee of Allah exclusively? And Allah did choose Ibraheem as His devoted friend.

‏4:125 ومن احسن دينا ممن اسلم وجهه لله وهو محسن واتبع ملة ابراهيم حنيفا واتخذ الله ابراهيم خليلا

Sher Ali:

[004:125] And who is better in faith than he who submits himself entirely to ALLAH, and he is a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham ? And ALLAH took Abraham for a special friend.

Shakir:

[004:125] And who has a better religion than he who submits himself entirely to Allah? And he is the doer of good (to others) and follows the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and Allah took Ibrahim as a friend.

Pickthall:

[004:125] Who is better in religion than he who surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good (to men) and followeth the tradition of Abraham, the upright ? Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend.

Sale:

[004:125] Who is better in point of religion, than he who resigneth himself unto God, and is a worker of righteousness, and followeth the law of Abraham the orhodox? Since God took Abraham for his friend:

Muhammad Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan:

[004:125] And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allahs Religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer - see V.:). And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone). And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend).
