[076:030] But ye will not, except as God wills; for God is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

[076:031] He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty.

‏76:30 وماتشاؤون الا ان يشاء الله ان الله كان عليما حكيما

‏76:31 يدخل من يشاء في رحمته والظالمين اعد لهم عذابا اليما

Sher Ali:

[076:030] But you cannot so wish unless ALLAH so wills. Verily, ALLAH is All-Knowing, Wise.

[076:031] HE admits into HIS mercy whom HE pleases and for the wrongdoers HE has prepared a painful punishment.

Shakir:

[076:030] And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise;

[076:031] He makes whom He pleases to enter into His mercy; and (as for) the unjust, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement.

Pickthall:

[076:030] Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.

[076:031] He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom.
