life of this world
« on: March 02, 2013, 10:29:25 AM »
Asalamu Alaykum Dear Brother and Sisters

Allah(SWT) knows everything, and he knew us even before we were made that what we would be
why did he create us then?since he already knew if we are going to be a good person or a bad one?
he already knows everything?what is the purpose then?
he already knows if for example i'll be good muslim or i'll be a kafar, why did he create us then?

Wasalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah

Remember, time started AFTER the big bang. It is relative to our universe only. BEFORE he created us he knew, because he created us and perceived the past, present, and future already! It will make sense if you read the last chapters of "The evolution deceit" by HarunYahya

We have free will. I would image He wants to judge us on our free actions as they are actualized. What of divine destiny (al-qadā wa'l-qadar)? Man has the ability to ignore God.

A man did not secure his camel, when asked why, has proclaimed "I have faith in Allah"
The prophet (peace be upon him) responded by telling the man to first tie up his camel, and then put your faith in Allah.

Baby birds need to learn to fly. Man needs to figure out on his own, how to be human.

there's probably an easier way to reword my answer.

Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then settled Himself firmly on the Throne... (Qur'an, 7:54)

Metaphor for: Allah created us and sat on the throne, the throne being a place where a supreme ruler sits and judges his people. That's right, Allah created us and waited, to see what we become. He has already seen, since he exists in timelessness. According to Einstein, the past, present, and future exist simultaneously in a dimension.

I read somewhere that because Allah created us he 'predicts' exactly every option we might take. A bit like a military strategist you could say except that Allah never gets it wrong.

Well, that's anthropomorphism. First off, Allah is not a thing or a human that cannot know what he is creating and what he creates will evolve into. Allah is a force that creates and drives the universe more like it. Anthropomorphism in the Qur'an were only metaphorical to better explain to people who did not understand, much like the 6 day creation part.

Asalamwalaiukum warahmatullah

Brother, one thing you have to know is we have free will.  Yes Allah know what we will do, but we have free will.  Allah doesnt make you even thought he knows you will go to hell nor does he force you.  All you have to do is practice your deen and he will reward you.  I suggest you dont reas any of Harun Yahya's books because he is a secularist and he opposes a lot of major ideas of allah such as where he is and his names.  he has commited kufr and shirk.  Read kitab-e-tawheed by muhammad ibn ab al wahaab.

You misunderstood my comment but maybe thats because i didnt make it clear enough. When i say 'predict' i dont mean it in a human sense where we guess and hope for the best. The Allah type of 'predict'(notice the weird thingies i add to make it clear its not supposed to be the human predict but in a metaphoric sense like you say) is like for example, Im on the computer now, Allah has 'predicted' what i do next, and next, and next, and next. He 'predicted what i was gonna do before i was born.
This is after all just a theory i read. Im not sure which explanation is best so i just ignored it for now. Maybe when im older ill be able to comprehend it better.

You should never tell someone not to read anything. Everyone should read everything. Allah rewards the wise, and punishes the ignorant.
