Greetings dear brothers and sisters, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

Luke 10:21-22

In that same hour he (Lord Jesus) rejoice in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and the understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father..."

This verse from the Holy Bible shows us that in our hearts, we must become like children and humble ourselves to grow closer to God and understand his ways.

Mathew 18: 1-4
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

The cruxifixion of Lord Jesus

Mark 15:37-39

And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!".

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

To the world, the crucifixion of Jesus may seem like foolishness as it is difficult to accept if we rely on our own understanding. However, brothers and sisters, I pass on the message of the cross to you not for the purpose of angering you or insulting your faith, but because the only salvation is through our Lord Jesus. He is a loving saviour given to us by God.

Acts 4:10-12
10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 Jesus is
“‘the stone you builders rejected,
    which has become the cornerstone.’[a]
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

To understand this salvation, we cannot rely on our own understanding. Similarly, no man can help us understand it as the ways of God are far higher than our own ways. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God who is able to reveal all.

Please feel free to leave any comments or questions.

May you all always feel the everlasting love of our God.  :)

Hi jesus.breadoflife.
I know you've probably heard this question many times and I've read one or two responses but I'd be iinterested to see if your opinion is the same. It's regarding the crucifixion as you've probably guessed. If Jesus PBUH sacrificed himself for us and took away all our sins why are we still born sinful? Why do we have to acknowledge (sounds a bit arrogant I know) his sacrifice to enter heaven. Doesnt this undo the entire reason for him sacrificing hhimself?
Thanks.

Hi Tanveer,

Due to the sin committed by Adam and Eve, all men are born of a sinful nature - that is born in this body in a sinful nature. The following is an extract from the Bible where Lord Jesus is telling a man named Nicodemus how to enter the kingdom of heaven:

John 3: 3-6
3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

*To be born of the water is to be baptised. To be born of the Spirit is to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit of God who will live in us and teach us to walk according to God's ways.

This means we must be born again, burying our old sinful nature and in this rebirth, we are made new and sinless.

Romans 6:4
4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.[color]

Secondly, you ask why the sacrifice Jesus made for us doesn't automatically grant us all access to heaven. Well, when Adam and Eve committed sin in the Garden of Eden, they received the knowledge of good and evil. God gave us free will to choose what we want to do. If he wishes, he could control us all and force us to do his will but he does not. If people choose to sin and commit evil, how can the most holy God accept them into his kingdom with the blemishes of this world? We must walk according to His ways. Our sins cannot be forgiven through our own good deeds - no matter how good we try to be, how can it ever match to the righteousness of God? This is why it is necessary to accept Jesus as our saviour.

I hope this has answered your question, dear brother. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to ask and I shall rely on the grace of God to answer you.

God bless you.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

Again, I recommend everyone to visit: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm.  Trinity is refuted there, the crucifixion is refuted there, and many other topics.

Take care,

Just looking at the crucifixion to start with, you say that Psalms 91 proves he never got crucified.

Psalm 91:1-4

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say[a] to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
    and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his pinions,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;

This is not in the time of the crucifixion but in the 3 days following the crucifixion. God the Father rescued Lord Jesus in this time so that death was not able to overcome him.

Psalm 16:9-10
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being[e] rejoices;
    my flesh also dwells secure.
10 For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol,
or let your holy one see corruption.[f]

This is the rescuing referred to in the Psalms. That after his death, God did not abandon Jesus to the power of death but rescued him.
