Job 26:7 - He stretches out the north over empty space; [He] hangs the earth on nothing. While other sources declared the earth sat on the back of an elephant or turtle, or was held up by Atlas, the Bible states what we now know to be true – “He hangs the earth on nothing.â€
Hebrews 11:3 - By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Matter is made up of atoms which cannot be seen.
Leviticus 15:13 - 'And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean.
For centuries people washed in still water. Today we recognize the need to wash away germs with fresh water as stated in the Bible long ago.
Isaiah 40:22 [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in [/color]

Luke 17:34, 35
"I tell you, in that night there will be two [men] in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
"Two [women] will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.
This passage describes the Lord’s second coming. It shows earth is revolving as it will be night and day at the same time.
Jude 1:13
raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

The water cycle is described in the Bible. The main stages of the hydrological cycle are now understood to be evaporation, condesation and precipitation.
Jeremiah 12:4
How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said, "He will not see our final end." Extinction is explained. Since Adam and Eve sinned, there has been mourning and death among all creation.
Job 28:25
To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure.
It was once thought that air was weightless. Yet 4,000 years ago Job declared that God established “a weight for the wind.â€
1 Corinthians 15:41
41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
The Bible says that each start is unique. It is now accepted that stars very in size and intensity.
Job 38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
