I just figured. Holy is derived from Helios which means 'of the sun'.
Why not use it for the Qur'an?
You may all be well aware Christianity and the bible come from sun worship. The bible was called 'holy' since it contains allegories of the Sun falsely attributed to Isa (PBUH). Also, the word helio biblio was used for the bible in the past, which translates to Book of the Sun in English. The sun was worshiped primarily because it gave its life (burning out) for us.
Instead, use Noble as Br. Osama Abdullah does,

Actually, The Hebrew word qodesh and the equivalent Greek word hagios, together with their derivatives, have been translated with one of three words, or derivatives, in our older English versions, namely: holy, hallowed, or sanctified. Another word is also used in modern versions, and generally in ecclesiastical literature, namely: sacred.
Please do a little research before you make these bogus claims, there are many 'holy' figures in islam, i.e the Holy spirit who was sent with Isa (aleyhi salam) to strengthen him and also holy sanctaries such as Masjid Al-Aqsa.
Where do you think Holiday is derived from? Lemme give you a hint, holy-day, (referring to the Sabbath for example).
There are many sacred things in islam for example Shariah itself means Sacred.
