Suggestion regarding a certain page
« on: January 11, 2013, 09:23:17 PM »
As salamu alaykum brothers & sisters,

I want to thank those of you who write for this website and maintain it, but I also have a suggestion regarding a certain page. On the "Golden rule lie" page, it is written "See how Moses (alayhi salaam) ordered his men to rape 3 year old girls. As a Muslim who respects the prophet Musa, alayhi salaam, along with the rest of the prophets sent by God, it concerns me that this is written. I would suggest changing it to "See how the Bible claims Moses ordered his men to rape 3 year old girls", as clearly prophets and messengers of Allah, exalted and glorified be he, do not engage in such activities. In addition, I would like to add that while the site is certainly a good resource, some of the hateful language could be removed, no matter how angry those who cover up the truth make us. Remember this hadith:

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : a man said to the prophet : "Counsel me". He said : " Do not become angry". The man repeated [his request] several times, and he said: "Do not become angry ". [Bukhari]

Here's the page I'm mentioning: http://www.answering-christianity.com/golden_rule_lie.htm

A very good advice . We Muslims should talk about all the prophets peace upon them with respect . I don't accuse Osama of anything but it's probably a mistake . We all make them . The important thing is to learn from them and stop repeating them .
