Is there a contradiction or not (1) ?
« on: November 28, 2012, 11:25:51 AM »
The verses (36:26-27) state, "It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew! That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"
So now from this ayat we know that this prophet entered Al-Jannah, so he is now (already) there.
But other ayat say that the people will be risen up from death and rewarded only in the Yawm Al-Qiyamah according to their deeds, so until Al-Yawm Al-Qiyamah every body is on earth.
But this prophet is already in Al-Jannah, so what about his body? Is his body on earth or in Al-Jannah?

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

I don't recall the Glorious Quran making reference about any Prophet entering Heaven without death.

However, the Believers, in general, will enter Heaven after death and before the Day of Judgement.  This is why we read in the Glorious Quran about Allah Almighty telling us to not recon the Martyrs as dead.  They're not dead, but are alive with GOD Almighty in Bliss: http://www.answering-christianity.com/martyrs.htm.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh akhi,
To your other alleged contadiction: Prophet Ishmael (peace and blessings be upon him) was indeed an ancestor of Prophet Muhammad (pmay Almighty Allah bless him and grant him peace) and the grandfather of the Arab nation, but I personally think it means that the pagans of Quraysh themselves were not warned. There is no contradiction. And Almighty Allah knows best.

To this alleged contradiction: Almighty Allah narrates in Surat Ya-Seen (Surah 36) the story of the three Messengers of Allah (peace and blessings be upon them) who were belied by their folk. In the story, Allah, the Most Glorified and Exalted, says a righteous man came walking with fast strides from the end of city and he said, "O my people! Follow the Messengers. Obey those who ask no wages of you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided. And why should I not worship Him (Allah Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned. Shall I take besides Him deities? if the Most Gracious (Allah) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me? Then verily, I should be in plain error. Verily! I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me!" (36:20-25)
The disbelievers then killed this righteous man. In the Glorious Qur'an, if you noticed, Almighty Allah sometimes narrates stories of the past, the present and even the future. In Sûratul-`Araf, for instance, Almighty Allah mentions the conversation between those in Paradise and the dwellers of Hell. Many statements regarding the Day of Resurrection and conversations that would happen on that day are mentioned therein too. By the way, some very good people will enter Paradise without any judgement (may Almighty Allah make us from them, Allahumma Ameen). The verses (36:26-27) state, "It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew! That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!" The point trying to be conveyed here is that if you do believe in Almighty Allah and trust Him will all your heart, you'll find all that he promised to be true and be free of regrets. This probably happened after he was judged too as it says that this way said to him. If this is not what you are talking about, then what is?

In one Surah speaks a prophet when he entered Al-Jannah. I do not remember which Surah and wich ayah is it, but it is Noble Quran.

I guess you may refer to Jesus "though nowhere in the Quran that he is in paradise right now"......

dear brother Osama Abdallah.
If shuhada go to Al-Jannah without body (just with soul) it contradict the teachings of Noble Quran.
For example in Al-Jannah are Hour al-Ayn, fruits, houses. So how can a spirit use these?
Even shuhada have body of green birds.

dear brother RamziBinNabil, I think that you are right with saying this: some very good people will enter Paradise without any judgement. but then there is still a problem: if this prophet is already in Al-Jannah as stated in Quran, then why are other prophets here on earth? like Moses and Muhammad (alayhim salam)

I told you, the Glorious Qur'an mentions future and past events. In addition, the true believer (may Almighty Allah make us from them) will feel the time he spent in his grave to be short, whereas the disbelievers would feel a very long time until the Day of Resurrection.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

One thing is clear from the Glorious Quran, is that the believers (at least the Martyrs among them) will enter Heaven before the Day of Judgement.  The Noble Quran makes this clear.  Again, visit: http://www.answering-christianity.com/martyrs.htm.

Now, in what form will they be in Heaven, before Judgement Day, it's not clear.  Perhaps, this is one of the mysteries of the unknown.  I agree though that it is most likely in a physical form (see below why).  But however, our bodies will also resurrect in physical forms.  So will the person be in a temporary physical form in Heaven?  Will he be a spirit?  Or will he just be standing beside GOD Almighty in Judgement Day (no resurrection for him at that time, because he/she already has a body)?  I honestly don't think anyone can give a certain answer for any of this; at least to my knowledge.  But I could be wrong.   There are unknowns that we were not given answers for.  As Allah Almighty Said in the Noble Quran:

[017:085]  They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"

Let us also not forget that a flesh and blood human, here on earth, is also made of a:

1-  Self (Nafs).
2-  Spirit (Rouh).

Both are different.  They're not the same.  All of our spirits came directly from the Holy Spirit, which Allah Almighty used to "blow his Spirit" into us.  This is in the Holy Quran.  See http://www.answering-christianity.com/holy_spirit.htm.  Our Nafs (plural Nufoos), is something else.  And of course, our physical bodies are also something else.  In fact, according to the Holy Quran, OUR BODIES WILL TESTIFY FOR US AND AGAINST US ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.  See http://www.answering-christianity.com/are_private_sins_allowed.htm.  So this means, that we're really not our flesh and blood.  In other words, the flesh and blood that you're in, is no more than a tool or a vehicle that Allah Almighty Gave you.  Think of it as the car that you drive.  It's not you.  It's only a tool that you use and ride.  So after death, the Martyr (and possibly also all Believers) might go to Heaven in A SELF.  And this SELF (nafs) might be in a certain or special place that only Allah Almighty Knows, and in a certain body or form that also only Allah Almighty Knows.  This is why I say, I am not sure which form they will be in, in Heaven, before Judgement Day.

Let us not forget also, that Allah Almighty Said the following about the NAFS (SELF):

‏89:27 ياايتها النفس المطمئنة
[089:027]  "O (thou) soul SELF, in (complete) rest and satisfaction!

‏89:28 ارجعي الى ربك راضية مرضية
[089:028]  "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him!

‏89:29 فادخلي في عبادي
[089:029]  "Enter thou, then, among My devotees!

‏89:30 وادخلي جنتي
[089:030]  "Yea, enter thou My Heaven!

So, it is possible that the NAFS (SELF) of the Martyr, and perhaps all of the Believers, will "come back to" (89:28) Allah Almighty, in Heaven, and will be placed in a Physical Form (in the devotee's body (89:29)).  However, which form will the devotee be in, in Heaven, before Judgement Day?  Will he be in a physical form?  Probably yes.  If so, then this means that he won't resurrect in the Day of Judgement.  He'll probably only stand next to Allah Almighty.  But like I said, this is probably one of the unknowns that Allah Almighty purposely left out of the Noble Quran.

If any brother or sister has any Hadith or Noble Verse or Tafsir, or has a different oppinion, that might shed more light upon this subject, then please feel free to post it :).

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
