Suicide bombers.

What are the stance of you guys on suicide bombers? Alot of imams and great scholars say its haram even in wartime. They say there is a difference between becoming a martyr and you killing yourself on purpose. I think the 600 page fatwa on terrorism also says this. I personally agree with the opinions of these scholars and imams but id like to know other people's opinions.

I agree as well . One is commanded to fight the invaders and protect himself and others . But to throw the life God gave to you , that's awful .

Did you know that the first suicide bomber was in the Bible?  Read the story of Samson and Delila ,and how he in the end purposely took down the pillar to bring down the building and kill everyone in it, including himself.

Read Judges 16 in the Bible.  Also:

Judges 16:30 Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.

Well technically he wasn't a bomber, he should be more appropriately called a "temple-smasher" or something like that.

But then again, according to the Bible he did commit suicide...
