Ok I think I get it because I searched up the verses and they said "for your lord is your husband" But I noticed something strange, just before the Hosea verse, it appears that the God was angry with someone for worshipping Baal (I think). Then the NASB 1995 translation of verse 2:16 of Hosea says, ""It will come about in that day," declares the LORD, "That you will call Me Ishi (Husband, according to other translations) And will no longer call Me Baali (Master, according to other translations)."
The problem is why is this translation saying that Master is Baal and Husband is Ishi? This is the opposite of what you are saying? You said that the god in Hosea called himself Baal, while the NASB 1995 translation says the god of Hosea said not to call him Baal? Can you check this problem out? The translation is saying the opposite of what you say!
