Bible Prophets died poisoned. Was Muhammad also punished the same?

As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

In the Jewish writings, we find that GOD Almighty punished Prophets who later turned evil with poisoning, and GOD also protected good ones from poisoning.  Some writings say that Prophet Muhammad was poisoned.  So was this a punishment from GOD Almighty?
