Miracle contradictions in New Testament
« on: September 15, 2019, 09:27:16 AM »
As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

We read in the New Testament Jesus making these fantastic claims and false promises:

1-  I am the resurrection.  Yet, I do not know when the Hour of the resurrection will come.  And Jesus had to cry out to GOD Almighty, and cry and weep and beg GOD to resurrect Lazarus (the man whom Jesus resurrected).  And Jesus thanked GOD Almighty for hearing his prayer to raise his friend Lazarus:

And he is still the resurrection??

Mustard seed faith and Great Faith both still failed:

2-  Jesus said if you have a mustard seed of faith, then you can tell a tree with your mouth to be uprooted and it will be uprooted, you can move a mountain and throw it in the sea, and you can be bit with snake poison and even drink the snake poison:

Luke 17:6
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mark 16:18
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Yet, he told the Palestinian woman and the Roman centurion that they had GREAT FAITH, and neither one of them could do any Miracle.  The Palestinian woman had to beg Jesus to cure her daughter for her.

David Wood talked about his handicapped children on many occasions.  So why couldn't he just with one single command:

1-  Heal his children.
2-  Raise his friend Nabeel Qureshi back to life while he's at it?

Hyperbole or hyperbulls*** do we have here?

3-  Jesus' disciples were going around doing miracles and raising people from the dead.  Yet, THEY COULD NOT RAISE HIM BACK TO LIFE after the crucifixion?  Not only that, but they all fled, and Thomas became the doubting Thomas because he did not believe that the man who returned was Jesus.  But did you not raise people from the dead already, Thomas?  What happened there?  You could've raised Jesus himself back to life with your own hands!  Yet, it was impossible for you to believe that it was Jesus who returned?

These alleged miracles are very loud!  If you raise people from the dead, then the entire land of Palestine would've heard about it.  Yet, nothing recorded historically about them.  So do we have here loud miracles or loud lies?

This is a brain storm.  I will put a lot more points in the appropriate articles, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
