The beard in Islam

They said that was the Hukm because the Blessed Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم gave no exceptions when he ordered his followers to do so.

Not obligatory to grow your beard but obligatory to let it grow? Are you sure this makes sense?

Hahaha, akhi. I mean it's not a Wajib for everybody to have a beard, as some don't even grow beard all their lives, but the obligation is for you to leave your beard alone and let it grow for as much as Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta`ala wills.

As I mentioned before there r 3 views about the beard, most muslims and scholars adhere to the 2nd view, that growing it is a great sunnah, and cutting is is either hated (makrooh) or is permissible (halal or mubah).
