He says: I agree with half of Muhammad's poetry (the Quran), for it agrees completely with the testimonies and narratives in the Old and New Covenants...but the other half either literally contradicts such narratives, and also include local legends whose origins are found in heretic, or mysticisms, unfounded ideas and local folklore.

I write this not as offense, but simply clarifying what scholars and historians have pointed out according to centuries of research. These are scholarship, which is closer to fact and objective. Not words through a zealous defense of one's faith (how people typically share their beliefs).

There's no proof that these "stories" are "fake"...take the assault on Mecca for example, Osama wrote an article about this...

You can answer him in return that the only clear contradiction can be found in the so called 'New' @ Greek Covenant against the 'Old' @ Israelite Covenant.
While the teachings in Quran does not contradict the teachings of Noahites, and Israelites which also includes the teachings of Jesus Messiah onto his companions.
