Such a weak argument. He only pointed out one website, and one scholar who claims that. All historians seems to disagree with this assertion. This assertion is just like any other blatant lies and fallacies. If anyone has studied Islamic history, he will apparently see that the name of prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was same before he even become a messenger, or before even Islam arose. There's hundreds if not thousands of narrated hadiths calling the prophet (peace be upon him) by Muhammad. Show me one strong, authentic hadith that calls the prophet (peace be upon him) by Qathim, and if it was his real name how came not a single historian told us? How would it even affect us if our prophet's name was Qathim before Islam?

Brother Hani, I removed the infidel's link.  Please do not post infidels' links here.  I already requested this from you before.  Please respect the site's policy.

The Glorious Quran calls the Prophet of Islam "Muhammad".  And the Glorious Quran has an entire Surah called "Muhammad".  And 1.5 billion Muslims today all know that their Prophet's name is "Muhammad".  And ever since Islam began with Muhammad, his name had always been Muhammad, and his birth name was Muhammad, and all Meccans knew him as Muhammad.

Arguments such as:

1-  Muhammad never existed.
2-  "Muhammad" was not Islam's Prophet's name.

These arguments are bankrupt.  The Prophet had nicknames or aliases that had religious meanings, and Allah Almighty in the Glorious Quran also gave him a Prophetic Name in the previous Scriptures, which is "Ahmed".  And Ahmed was recently found in the Dead Sea Scrolls:

Take care,

the prophet's first son was named Qassim. hence the prophet is sometime called Abul Qassim.

also according to some biography,  the grandfather wanted to give the name Qassim  to Aminah's first son but dream came to name the son Muhammad (pbuh)
