Quran
« on: September 11, 2017, 12:30:42 PM »
Assalamu alaikum,

We as muslims obviously say that there is only 1 quran, but we also say that these were revealed in 7 ahruf which now can be seen across 10 qiraat like hafs and warsh.

So my question is how can we say that there is 1 quran but say there are different ahruf, because in the ahruf there are differences like quran says owner of the day of judgement ( quran 1:4 malik yawm ad deen ) this is hafs. But in warsh it says king of the day of judgement ( melik yawm ad deen ) this is a differenxe. So how can we claim there  is only 1 quran but also say that there are some differences in the ahruf, doesnt 1 difference already make it 2 qurans as 1 quran (hafs) says one thing and warsh says the other

Jazakallah khair

Both have Malik both convey the same message be it king or owner
So why two Quran ?
I would have gone for two Quran if there had been differences in meaning simple difference in dialect and you call for two different Quran ?

while there are various ways of singing 'the recitation', it is still referred as one recitation.
