John the Baptist doubts Jesus despite all of the Miracles
« on: September 06, 2017, 04:42:26 AM »
As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

John the Baptist, who is also a Prophet, doubts Jesus despite all of the Miracles & Revelations about Jesus!

1-  Jesus gets baptized by John on the orders of GOD to Jesus:

Matthew 3:15 Jesus answered, "....because we must do all that God wants us to do....

2-  Jesus' disciples are even able to raise the dead:

Matthew 10:7-8
7 As you go, announce that the kingdom of heaven will soon be here.
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead to life, heal people who have leprosy, and force out demons. You received without paying, now give without being paid.

Yet, no historical accounts were ever recorded for this.

3-  And supposedly after all of these COLOSSAL MIRACLES, John the Baptist still doubted Jesus when he was thrown in prison:

Matthew 11:1-6
1 After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he left and began teaching and preaching in the towns.
2 John was in prison when he heard what Christ was doing. So John sent some of his followers
3 to ask Jesus, “Are you the one we should be looking for? Or must we wait for someone else?”
4 Jesus answered, “Go and tell John what you have heard and seen.
5 The blind are now able to see, and the lame can walk. People with leprosy are being healed, and the deaf can hear. The dead are raised to life, and the poor are hearing the good news.
6 God will bless everyone who doesn’t reject me because of what I do.”

A simple and very serious question must be asked here:

Since John the Baptist never saw a single Miracle from Jesus, nor from any of his disciples who too raised the dead, and since Jesus' documented "Miracles" were either exaggerations from the Bible's authors, or they were symbolic and not literal, then what proof does anyone here have to prove the authenticity of the New Testament's accounts?

Raising the dead?  This Miracle is VERY LOUD!  It would have spread like wild fire among the people!  It could not have been kept as low profile or secrete.

4-  John the Baptist was a Prophet: (Matthew 11:9-11)

We're also not talking about a mere average believer doubting Jesus here.  We're talking about JOHN THE BAPTIST & PROPHET himself doubting Jesus!  Yet, GOD Almighty's Revelations supposedly were sent to John the Baptist about Jesus, and the Angels were inspiring him and tell him about Jesus.  So, if GOD Almighty Himself confirmed Jesus' Truth to John, then why would John still doubt?

Is it not clear that the Bible's accounts are full of LOUD LIES?

5-  The Jews were tribal people.  They were broken into 12 tribes, with the tribe of Levi being the top one:

Numbers 1
52 The rest of the Israelites will camp in their own groups and under their own banners.
53 But the Levites will camp around the sacred tent to make sure that no one goes near it and makes me furious with the Israelites.

If one Israelite gets resurrected (RAISED FROM THE DEAD), then everyone will know about it!  People were tribal back then.  They stuck together; they knew each other very very well, and their funerals were big!

The fact that the Bible speaks so loosely about RAISING PEOPLE FROM THE DEAD, and yet not a single historical account exists to prove anyone of these COLOSSAL MIRACLES, proves that the NT's accounts are full of lies.  If people were truly raised from the dead, then all of their tribes would've known about them, and the news would've quickly spread throughout the entire Middle East, not just Israel, with specific names of people who came back to life, and which families and tribes they belonged to.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
