Scientific error in the Quran?! Please help...
« on: January 16, 2017, 08:44:06 AM »
Please help me refute this scientific error

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted? (Quran [75:37] )

Well doesn't this verse ignore the fact that there was no person in the first? I mean the human came by a sperm fertilizing the ovum right? So the human wasn't a sperm or an egg at first, Like sodium chloride wasn't sodium at first, it's the result of sodium + chroline..Right? Forgive me for my English, it's not my first language. But i think that you got my point

Also another question about the alqaa (علقة )

http://www.almaany.com/ar/dict/ar-ar/%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%82%D8%A9/

Many people claim that the word alqaa has 3 meanings..but according to this website it has so many meanings, right? So can any body explain why do people say that it has 3 meanings?

Also another question about word

People say that this word can mean the web, but....i don't see anywhere where it means the web, i only see that it means made it good

Weaved it good is just an example...

So please help me and answer these questions...They annoy me so much...

Then woe to you, and woe!
Does man think that he will be left neglected?
Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
Then he was a clinging clot, and [ Allah ] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
And made of him two mates, the male and the female. (75:35-39)

The verses are addressing mankind that are arrogant not wanting to believe in the Day of Resurrection . Yet their origin were just from fluid gushed out from their father's part.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

The Glorious Quran says that the male-sperm:

1.  Is a piercing one.
2.  It also determines the gender.

[053:045]  And that HE creates the pairs, male and female,
[053:046]  From a sperm drop when it that is emitted and is penetrating تمنى;

AND

[075:037]  Was he not a drop of fluid, emitted forth (and is penetrating)
[075:038]  The he became a clot, then ALLAH gave him shape and perfected him.
[075:039]  Then HE made of him a pair; the male and female.

www.answering-christianity.com/ac20.htm#embryology

Pay attention to the definitions of تمنى and يمنى.  Both are the same word.  And notice how Allah Almighty said He created THE MALE AND THE FEMALE.  He could've just said Mankind.  But no, here Allah Almighty specified both genders.  And تمنى and يمنى is used for:

1-  Penetration.
2-  Cutting through.
3-  Piercing.

They even use the word for farmers when they insert their arms inside the cows' anus and vagina to help them with constipation and to check on fertilization.  They also use it for stabbing and cutting with a blade!  We know that the male sperm is a piercing one.  I even provided the pictures in the articles.

Take care,

Yes, I read it, and I showed you where the Glorious Quran said that our genders were determined by our fathers' EMITTED, PIERCING, PENETRATING, CUTTING SPERM.

Yes, have you "not been a sperm from semen emitted?"

Ahhhh......So you mean we all were a sperm, because since it's the sperm that determines the gender, right? So does that mean that we all were a sperm that evolved to be an embryo after fertilizing the ovum?, right or am i misunderstanding ? if yes, then thanks for these answers...also i have been wondering if it was another sperm that fertilized the ovum, then a different person would be born right? So this means that we all were a sperm....

Can you please answer my other questions?

and thanks..

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

Please read the articles that I linked above.  You'll see how Allah Almighty talked about the NEW SPERM that gets formed after the male pierces the female's egg.  Noble Verse 75:37 that you asked about was talking about the gender determination as I have clearly demonstrated for you above:

[075:039]  Then HE made of him a pair; the male and female.
[053:045]  And that HE creates the pairs, male and female,

The male and female.  Not YOU (plural).  Not MANKIND as the Almighty Said in other Noble Verses.  No.  The male and female.  And throughout the Glorious Quran, تمنى and يمنى are used only in those Noble Verses, and in them, Allah Almighty Said that He creates from the male sperm the male and the female.

And what other question did I not answer?  Please post your new questions so I can go through them.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Here's the other questions:

Also another question about the alqaa (علقة )

Many people claim that the word alqaa has 3 meanings..but according to this website it has so many meanings, right? So can any body explain why do people say that it has 3 meanings?

So please help me and answer these questions...They annoy me so much...

Wait.....What new sperm that gets formed????!?!?! do you mean the zygote, i already read them well honestly not all,  can you bring them here..i mean put the parts that talk about the new sperm not the links

About the verse 75:37 yes i know that it talks about gender determination, but it also talks that humans were once a sperm, i was wondering why that humans were a sperm not an egg? when i searched in google "Were you a sperm or an egg?" All the answers were neither...Did you get my point? I'm pretty confused though...

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

Brother, the Noble Verses do not speak about our essence.  They are merely talking about us and how we're formed on regular basis.  I already gave you the link where mankind was cloned from Adam's back.  Also, Allah Almighty Said in the Glorious Quran that He Created us from ONE NEFS (self):

[004:001]  O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person SELF نفس واحدة, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence God, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for God ever watches over you.

I also gave you the links above that speak about the NEW SPERM FROM THE MALE AND FEMALE that gets formed where we evolve/develop from.  I proved that the Glorious Quran's use of JA'ALA means to Allah Almighty caused something to evolve.  Like I said in the article, pay attention regarding Allah Almighty's uses of خلقنا (We Created) and جعلنا (We Made through development and evolution).

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear Osama,

Thanks for your efforts, but i'm still confused..What you have said still doesn't explain that we were sperm at first, Well i guess maybe the word "nutfah" is referring to zygote? I don't know but i think that you have to do a deeply research about this verse and also make a respond to it, because non-Muslims can create a "new scientific error" using this verse

Also i don't see anywhere the links talking about the new sperm, could you post them again please?

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

I am very sorry for the mean post that I posted earlier.  I have removed it.  I sincerely hope that you accept my apology.

Regarding the New Sperm:

From www.answering-christianity.com/detailed_meanings_of_scientific_words_in_verses.htm#embryology:

Notice the accuracy in the description:

‏23:12 ولقد خلقنا الانسان من سلالة من طين
‏23:13 ثم جعلناه نطفة في قرار مكين

[023:012]  Man We did create from a quintessence of clay سلالة;
[023:013] Then We placed made him ثم جعلناه as (a drop of) sperm zygote نطفة in a place of rest, firmly fixed قرار مكين;

Here Allah Almighty Said that the SULALAH (best sperm) سلالة is placed AS A NUTFAH (zygote) نطفة  in the PLACE OF REST قرار مكين. Clearly, this is referring to the male-sperm when it gets placed into the woman's egg after piercing it.  The egg now becomes a zygote cell, or a fertilized egg.  And of course, the Noble Verse is also referring to the entire womb in general, since the fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus. This journey takes between 1 to 2 days, and the egg will attach itself to the uterine lining, or the endometrium, to begin the pregnancy.

1.  "Then We placed made him as (a drop of) sperm zygote..."  Refers to male sperm when it enters the egg, and the now-fertilized egg, with the sperm in it, as one Nutfah (sperm) placed in "a place of rest, firmly fixed".  In other words, when the fertilized egg attaches itself inside the womb to begin the pregnancy.

2. "Then We placed made him ثم جعلناه ..."  Throughout the Glorious Quran, Allah Almighty used the Noble Word جعلنا , to mean:

Something "We made from multiple things"
--OR--
something "we evolved".

I have pointed this out before and thoroughly demonstrated it from the Glorious Quran at: www.answering-christianity.com/sunrise_sunset.htmHere I quote.....

Please continue reading the article.  There is a lot more from the Glorious Quran.

Once again, I am very sorry for the mean post earlier, akhi.  May Allah Almighty forgive me.  Ameen.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
