Wa Alaikum As'salam.  You got that backward, akhi.  The Muslim believer is free through Islam.  Yes, she can still be a slave, but Muslims are supposed to free all Muslim slaves, and to end all slavery in general, including freeing non-Muslim slaves also.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

I am very sorry for the mean post that I posted earlier.  I have removed it.  I sincerely hope that you accept my apology.

Regarding the New Sperm:

From www.answering-christianity.com/detailed_meanings_of_scientific_words_in_verses.htm#embryology:

Notice the accuracy in the description:

‏23:12 ولقد خلقنا الانسان من سلالة من طين
‏23:13 ثم جعلناه نطفة في قرار مكين

[023:012]  Man We did create from a quintessence of clay سلالة;
[023:013] Then We placed made him ثم جعلناه as (a drop of) sperm zygote نطفة in a place of rest, firmly fixed قرار مكين;

Here Allah Almighty Said that the SULALAH (best sperm) سلالة is placed AS A NUTFAH (zygote) نطفة  in the PLACE OF REST قرار مكين. Clearly, this is referring to the male-sperm when it gets placed into the woman's egg after piercing it.  The egg now becomes a zygote cell, or a fertilized egg.  And of course, the Noble Verse is also referring to the entire womb in general, since the fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus. This journey takes between 1 to 2 days, and the egg will attach itself to the uterine lining, or the endometrium, to begin the pregnancy.

1.  "Then We placed made him as (a drop of) sperm zygote..."  Refers to male sperm when it enters the egg, and the now-fertilized egg, with the sperm in it, as one Nutfah (sperm) placed in "a place of rest, firmly fixed".  In other words, when the fertilized egg attaches itself inside the womb to begin the pregnancy.

2. "Then We placed made him ثم جعلناه ..."  Throughout the Glorious Quran, Allah Almighty used the Noble Word جعلنا , to mean:

Something "We made from multiple things"
--OR--
something "we evolved".

I have pointed this out before and thoroughly demonstrated it from the Glorious Quran at: www.answering-christianity.com/sunrise_sunset.htmHere I quote.....

Please continue reading the article.  There is a lot more from the Glorious Quran.

Once again, I am very sorry for the mean post earlier, akhi.  May Allah Almighty forgive me.  Ameen.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear Osama,

I do accept your apology, anyway Thanks so much for this explanation! I couldn't have find better than this! I swear that was the best explanation far i have expected!

Thanks for your efforts!

Regards,,,

Hello again, I just wanted to ask another question since that nurfah means "zygote" then what does "mingled nutfah" mean? and Thanks

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

Nutfah AMSHAJ means a mixed or mingled zygote.  As I showed from the dictionaries in www.answering-christianity.com/detailed_meanings_of_scientific_words_in_verses.htm#embryology :

مشج (mashaja):  خلط (khalata) mingled or mixed.

In Arabic today, KHALLAT means a blended smoothie.  It has the same root word as khalata.  It is KHALLAT because the fruits and water in it are all mixed up together.

In Arabic, we also say there is a KHALT, which means there is a mix up, which caused a misunderstanding in what was communicated.  There is a mix up in what the receiving person understood from what was intended in the message that was communicated to him/her.

So when the male's sperm pierces through the female's egg and both become a zygote, then this zygote is indeed a mixed sperm.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
