Heliocentric System

Does the Quran support the Heliocentric System? Is there any evidence in the Quran or the Hadith that supports it. Can anybody provide a link related to my topic.

I actually read the article of the Heliocentric System by Harun Yahya. He quoted verses of the Quran but he didn't explain them deeply. For example he quoted Surah Shams 1-4, and says that the day is the result of the movement of the earth. But the verse itself does not speak of the earth.  So can someone shed some light on this.

Technically, everything in the universe revolves around any point you choose, including you brother Mohamed Saif.  Yes, you are the center of the entire universe.  There is no such thing as the earth revolves around the sun only.  The sun revolves around the earth, and every celestial body.

Dear Osama Abdullah

Thank you for the links you provided.  You've done a great research and keep up the good work!!! I've read the entire article and you said that the orbit of the earth is also Egg shaped. But you didn't give any reference in the Quran. There were so many verses which speak of the earth being Egg shaped. But I couldn't find any reference in the Quran where the orbit of the Earth is Egg Shaped. Please help me.

In regards to the earth's orbit, since DAHAHA also means "shaped like an egg" or "egg-shaped", along with the other meanings that I thoroughly demonstrated such as:

1-  Being spherical / round.
2-  To push.
3-  Rolling around itself.
4-  Going fast, speeding.

Then seeing that the earth's orbit around the sun was also egg-shaped or elliptical, was interesting to me.  So no only the earth's shape is spherical, but its orbit is also egg-shaped.

Dear Osama Abdallah

In your Articles you said according to the Arabic dictionaries "Daha" means to
1. Caused it to Move, Pushed it, Threw it
2. Round and Spherical

The word "Daha" is used to describe the motion and shape of the Earth. So is it right to conclude that the Movement(Orbit) of the Earth is also Round and Spherical since both have the same root word.

Yes brother, that is correct.  And it is interesting that even the orbit of the earth is egg-shaped, since the Noble Word, DAHAHA, means also that.

Don't forget the other Noble Words that I gave detailed analysis on that speak about the motion of the earth.  DAHAHA is not the only one, akhi.

It is now only that I understood that the Quran supports the heliocentric motion from the word "Daha" and I also wanted to add that the S Shaped orbit of the moon is only possible if the Earth revolves around the sun.  If the Earth were at the centre of the Solar system we won't witness the S shaped orbit of the moon since the Earth is stable. So thus we can conclude that the Quran supports the Heliocentric motion by the use of the word "Daha" and S shaped orbit of the moon.  Thank you brother Osama for enlightening me on the subject.  May Allah bless you for your great work. It is actually through you that Allah has increased my faith.

In one of your articles you said that the Quran describes the Earth as a cradle.  The description of the Earth as a cradle refers to the rotation of the Earth or the orbit of the Earth  around the sun?

The earth going back and forth like a cradle is referring to the AXLE TILT.  This is where we get our four seasons during the earth's rotation around the sun.  Without it, the seasons would be very different, today.  Please visit:
