Did muslims invent something?

Salam Aleikum, brothers, I have watched an articule of Wikiislam.net which says that Muslims did not invent anything, and that our inventors are only copyists of the ancients peoples. They say that even the Algebra is not a muslim invention, nor even the flying. And say that the medieval Christians did not think that earth was flat, but round. Please look at this. Google: "Father of Optics".  Also, Chicken Pox cure was invented/discovered by Muslims.  This is to name a few.  When I get time, I will research this and come up with a list of unique irrefutatble sciences and their scientists' names, insha'Allah.
