Muhammad was not from Mecca!
« on: October 16, 2016, 05:55:59 PM »
Extremely interesting video by Sam Gerrans, and he's not an Islamophobe, he's a Muslim himself. Also, he rejects the hadith which is amazing (he has a video on why), i find Quranists always have more fascinating personalities and views, as opposed to your local Sunni sheikh who regurgitates whatever he is fed.

Very fascinating watch: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=inJ1mCIsz5A

Watch his other videos too.

The Quranies are a deviant heretical cult of satan.  And this clown, who is talking from his rear end, is one of them.  Prophet Muhammad, if indeed from the line of Ishmael (Abraham), then he would be an Iraqi, from Iraq.  But whether he has ancestors or a bloodline from Russia, Germany, Nigeria or Mecca, what difference does it make??  He was born in Mecca, he was an Arab from Mecca, and the Glorious Quran was revealed in Mecca, and all of the Islamic history indisputably prove this.  To come and say otherwise is ridiculous.  It is one thing to show errors in historical accounts, as we always do with the false hadiths from our Hadiths collections, to filter out the false ones from the True ones.  But it is completely another thing to throw out the entire established history and fabricate a new one.

To suggest that Prophet Muhammad was in Petra and not Mecca beyond ridiculous.  The battles that took place in Arabia alone prove that Prophet Muhammad and Islam came from Mecca.  Where did the following battles take place:

1-  Badr.  This one is mentioned in the Glorious Quran:

[003:123] God had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear God; thus May ye show your gratitude.

[003:123] And Allah has already made you victorious at Badr, when you were a weak little force. So fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden and love Allah much, perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained) that you may be grateful.

2-  Uhud.
3-  Hunayn.  This one too is mentioned in the Glorious Quran:

[009:025]  GOD has granted you victory in many situations. But on the day of Hunayn, you became too proud of your great number. Consequently, it did not help you at all, and the spacious earth became so straitened around you, that you turned around and fled.

4-  The battles of apostates.

What happened to the idols of Mecca?

Who destroyed the idols of Mecca??  Or were the Meccans already Muslims before Islam?  And where is Islam's history in Petra??  How come it is all in Mecca and Medina?

Becca is not Mecca?

So what?  I myself had always questioned this.  But it doesn't matter, because Allah Almighty called Mecca THE MOTHER OF CITIES (UM AL-QURA), and the Glorious Quran came to it:

‏42:7 وكذلك اوحينا اليك قرانا عربيا لتنذر ام القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لاريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير

[042:007]  Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Quran قرانا عربيا: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities ام القرى and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

Even if Becca, where the first House of Allah Almighty was established, was not Mecca, it does not matter at all:

‏3:96 ان اول بيت وضع للناس للذي ببكة مباركا وهدى للعالمين

[003:096]  The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:

What about our Qibla to Mecca?

How could this be forged??  A false hadith can be fabricated on the mouth of the Prophet.  And this we can easily know it is false by comparing it to the Glorious Quran, and by also examining its chain of narrators and comparing it to other hadiths to see if there are other sources that back it up.  But to forge the entire direction of Prayer (QIBLA) from Petra to Mecca (a supposedly irrelevant city) is simply impossible, because:

1-  All Muslims pray to the direction of the Kaaba (black cube building) in Mecca.

2-  All Muslims could not have been forced to alter the direction of the prayer 100 or 200 years after Prophet Muhammad, as the clown in the video suggested that the forgeries happened 100 to 200 after the Prophet.  The Qibla is another proof that silence the lies of the infidels:

[002:142]  The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To God belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.

[002:143]  Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Apostle a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Apostle from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by God. And never would God Make your faith of no effect. For God is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.

Here Allah Almighty answers those who questioned by the Qibla was changed from Jerusalem to Mecca.

[002:144]  We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is God unmindful of what they do.

[002:145]  Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.

Theories like Prophet Muhammad not being from Mecca, Islam being a religion created centuries later for the purpose of controlling the expanding Arab empire, are repeatedly presented by people who usually don't happen to be scholars. These theories are pretty old. The late professor Patricia Crone is one of the famous personalities who started with the claim of Prophet Muhammad being a fictional character; one theory she later recanted.

One obvious and simple question has to be asked for the supporters of such theories: In just fifty years after the Prophet's death the Arab empire had expanded from Egypt to the end of Persia and thousands or hundreds of thousands of non-Arabs came under Arab rule; how is it possible that all these non-Arabs were also involved in this wide ranging extraordinary conspiracy of rewriting history on such a magnificent scale, especially the Persians who were very resistant to losing their centuries old empire.

I dont agree with the guy btw, i just found his channel very interesting.

The Quranies are a deviant heretical cult of satan.

Quranists are not apostates. Being a Muslim is a natural state. How can you say someone who follows the word of God to the best of his abilities is hell-bound while keeping a straight face?

You said in another thread that you dont derive extra-quranic laws from hadith, so that's a form of Quranism. That's how i interpret it too. Other people of course, are radical skeptics and reject hadith altogether. They're still Muslim.

I've had these discussions before and quite frankly, they're tiring.   Tawhid is a natural disposition; a new-born baby is a Muslim.
