Scientific Miracles or Scientific Notions, it really comes down to whether the people of old knew the facts mentioned in the Glorious Quran or not. If they didn't, then these would be Scientific Miracles or Notions. This is almost exactly like Prophecies. Did the Quran ever make a Prophecy? Yes It did. And
STUNNING Prophecies too. The reader can visit:
www.answering-christianity.com/ac3.htm#propheciesOne can sit here and argue that we shouldn't call them Prophecies. But when Allah Allah Almighty gives Promises, such as the People of Israel will reach Mighty Heights of evil and corruption and wickedness before He brings the the Wrath of the Second Promise on them, then that is indeed a Prophecy.
The problem with salafies is that they're too superficial. Many of them can't see past their noses, and they don't really understand what is being communicated to them.
They follow a dumbed down Islam, and they're too closed-minded. They think that Scientific Miracles means turning the Glorious Quran into a Chemistry, Biology and Physics science book. But that's never what any Muslim ever claimed. And what about the Numerical Miracles??
The 950 Letters and 950 Years of Nuh's Surah. And many many other examples. And thousands of examples that confirm the newly discovered Numerical Law in the Glorious Quran?
Call them Miracles or Notions, it really doesn't matter. But what matters is to at least understand what the other side is saying before you reject their claim, wholesale. And another thing that is irritating from the
dumbed down salafies is their trait of attaching names to certain arguments to either accept or dismiss them:
1- Sheikh such and such bin this bin that bin 1st bin 2nd al Tameem or Hayyan or whatever gave fatwa. Therefore it is 100% true.
2- Osama Abdallah said it. It is 100% false.
How about looking at the merits of the argument and not the names. But who are we talking to??
Anyway, I hope I have adequately clarified the
"Miracles" and "Notions" terms. The Scientific Notions are there in the Glorious Quran.
One has to undeniably lie to himself to deny them. They're there and they're undeniable. And Allah Almighty Promised to Reveal them:

www.answering-christianity.com/sci_prophecy.htmAnd this is why Hamza Tzortis stopped believing in the "scientific miracles"
With all due respect to brother Hamza, but does he even speak or understand Arabic? When he relies on translations, then how does that make him an authority?
I know you'll come back and say that I (Osama Abdallah) too am not an authority in Arabic. Even though I am an Arab, but I did use
7 Encyclopedic dictionaries to demonstrate and prove the Scientific Notions in the Glorious Quran. So my authority is in those dictionaries, not in me personally. And I've looked at a few of brother Hamza's work. He did none of that. He relies on translations. So clearly, he is in no position to say that the Glorious Quran doesn't have Scientific Miracles or Notions.
And let me ask you this: What did Allah Almighty mean when He Said this:
"We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and INSIDE THEIR SELVES, until it will become quite clear to them that it (i.e., the Quran) is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"If the confirmed scientific discoveries do not prove the Glorious Quran, then what does this statement
"....until it will become quite clear to them that it (i.e., the Quran) is the truth...." mean to you? If they have nothing to do with the Quran, then how does anything any Scientific institution or agency discovers have anything to do with the Glorious Quran? And how does this statement in the Glorious Quran have any value in it??
Can you answer this for us?

Osama Abdallah
