the video shows about eclipse. They are claiming that arabs were confused about such phenomenon and thought it was moon splitting.

Quote
The people of Mecca asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hira' mountain.

I haven't watched the video, but if the claim is that the Arabs were confused by the moon eclipse, I don't think that is a good argument. The reason being the Hadith literature clearly talks about a moon eclipse that happened at the time of death of one of Prophet Muhammad's sons, and everyone knew what it was (i.e. a lunar eclipse). Additionally, if I remember correctly, scientific data tell us that there was only one lunar eclipse during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad that would have been visible from Arabia.

 Assalamu Alaikum,

Can you give me a bunch of sources which state that there has been one lunar eclipse during the lifetime of the prophet (PBUH)?

Assalamualykum

Maybe this would explain. It's an amazing article i read recently.

do you know that our earth did have two moons, but one was very small. it was known as the moon's sister. it was so small that after a while, earth's gravity was too much, and it got slammed into earth's surface. but, this happened in earth's early life.

The Moon Split in the Quran Is Not a True fact.Wrongly translated, and Wrong tafseer by so many scholars . Many Pakistani , Indians and others scholars are making big mistakes when they translate the Quran specially in words like (  FATER, FATARA, FALEQ, FALAQA, SHATER, SHATARA, ENSHEQAQ, RATEQ , RATAQA, etc.   These are so Important when it comes to the exact word cause so many unbeliever are making fun of the Quran  and they are using those wrong translation  . Please read and share my article about the Moon split.

The only Sunna to follow shall be God's Sunna. [Quran 17:77, 33:62,

48:23, 6:114]

The Quran informs us that some enemies of the Prophet, described as
"human and jinn devils," will fabricate lies and attribute them to the
Prophet (Quran 6:112, 25:31). This is precisely what happened after
the prophet Muhammad's death; Hadith (oral) and Sunna (actions) were
invented and attributed to the Prophet.

God tells us the Quran is complete, perfect, fully detailed, and shall
be the only source of religious guidance (Quran 6:19, 38, 114 &
45:6-7). The Quran is all we need for salvation. It does not matter if
the religious leaders, scholars and our friends tell us otherwise.
God's word reigns supreme.

IT IS NOT A FACT AT ALL ,PLEASE READ TO KNOW WHY. The Quran did not mention that at all. And all the translation is 100% wrong.

My thesis and discovery part 1. from 1980.

The verse I am talking about is ;

"The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two]." 54:1-Quran. and in other translation  ;

اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ

The hour drew nigh and the moon did rend asunder. And if they see a miracle they turn aside and say: Transient magic.

No where in the Quran that said the moon was split into 2 parts. number 2 ,two added in so many translation !.And it is not in the Quran and God did not say that. God did not split the moon in 2 pieces.

Please make sure that you understand the different between (  FALEQ, FATER, FATEQ,AND SHAQA) You have to read all the Quran to understand what God meant with each of this when he talk about the Sky, earth, layers of earth and universe, sides. For those who know the Arabic language it is not enough if you do not know the science of geology ,astronomy ,physics and biology ,Thats why 99% of scholars fail to understand this verse and made this mistake.

In 2010 a NASA Lunar Science Institute. (NLSI) staff scientist said "No current scientific evidence reports that the Moon was split into two (or more) parts and then reassembled at any point in the past." ( Reference; NASA. Lunar Science -No Evidence of the moon having been split in two.

NASA have responded to the hoax of the line seen in the moon, and verified that it is false. They have stated that the photo was taken from the Apollo 10 mission to the moon, and that someone has added the quotation later. NASA confirmed the photo is of Rima Ariadaeus, which is a linear rille on the moon, and was first noticed through telescopes over 200 years ago. The rille is said to be several hundred kilometers long, and when compared to NASA’s moon circumference measurement of 10,864 kilometers, it falls well short of stretching the whole distance. Other photographs taken from a further distance confirm its relatively short length.

This is a wrong translation and a wrong tafseer . All the hadeeths that claimed it are false and fake. The people who wrote and spoke those words fabricates thousand of hadeeth.  The Quran did not say a word about the moon split into 2 peaces in the time of Mohammed pbuh. I will explain to you why.

Now these saying and false hadeeth put in so many books quoting ;  Narration of Jabyr bin Mut'im, Imam Ahmad, Sahih al-Bukhari 3636,  and Abdullah bin Masud: They supposedly wrote some history of eye witness but nothing on record at all. and it was put in the book under their names . To destroy the truth and the facts and to make fun of the Quran. But the light minded people do not know and they kept their stupidity for 1400 years .

"The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two]." 54:1. The quran did not say in 2 pieces at all. God said  ENSHAQA AL QAMAR. Enshaqa in Arabic in this Verse it does not mean Split into 2 , nor In-shaq-qa" means to Become broken or cracked as the Arabic translation can be so confusing.

The moon did  NOT split apart.but it has became 2 sided moon. 2 PARTS ( near and far) ( bright side and the dark side as it known). The moon in the old days, MORE THAN 50 millions years ago was far from earth , and turning faster and both side of the moon alternate and face earth in one time and that is scientifically proven. The earth gravity pulled the moon slowly during time and when the moon was just in the present place it lock it self .Thats what God said in the Quran. So when the moon locked and Start to rotate it show only one side to the earth the near side or the bright side and the second half of the moon the far side or the dark side never face earth again. God talked about the moon in past tense so this happened thousand of years ago not in 1400 years. God want to say that the time is near indeed and he used the moon as indicator in his verse .The moon now 2 sides with one locked in to face earth this is the split he is talking about .The split of the moon

( bright side and the dark side ) not the split in 2 pieces.

God didn't say that at all.The verse in the Quran Quran  by Arabic .The hour is the end of time, the judgment day.

The first observation is that the words [in two] are not found in the Arabic Quran. It is obvious that they were added by the translator in order to make the Quranic words in harmony with the hadith! This hadith is an example of many others which present clear contradictions to the Quranic truth. What is more serious is that all who believe such a hadith when the Quranic truth is shown to them are the ones who insist on disbelieving the Quran.

With regards to the issue of the "past tense" in the Quran, this should not always be taken literally. For example, we find a number of verses in the Quran which speak about the Day of Judgement (a future event for us), yet God used the past tense, the following are examples:

[78:19]The heaven was opened (futihat) like gates.[78:20]The mountains were removed (suyyirat), as if they were a mirage. This translation also wrong , suyyirat it doesn't mean removed or mirage at all, It means destroyed to small piece like fluffy cotton.

These two verses spoken about events which will take place at the end of the world, yet they are written in the past tense, as if  the events already happened! Many translators changed this to the future tense, as if they are correcting God’s grammar! They do so because the do not understand the reasons why God uses the past tense in such verses! The reasons are:

1- For God there is no past, present and future! The concept of ‘Time’ is a dimension of the physical universe which we live in, but for God there is no ‘Time’ nor is God confined to the issue of ‘Time’ like we are (we cannot see the future). God uses the past tense at times and the future tense at other times to demonstrate to us that for God there is no ‘Time’.

2- God is also telling us that these things (related to the end of he world) are a certainty.

The second issue which gives us evidence that Muhammad did not split the moon (with his index fingers) is that the Quran gives us clear evidence that Muhammad did not have any personal miracles. In 17:90-93 God tells us how the disbelievers went to Muhammad and asked him to produce any miracle to prove to them that he is a genuine messenger, but God commanded Muhammad to just say that he is no more than a human being who was given a message from God, or in other words he does not have any personal miracles to show them:

17:90 They said, "We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground.

17:91 Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it.

17:92 Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you bring God and the angels before our eyes.

17:93 Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read." Say, "Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than an ordinary human and a messenger?"

The same assurance, that Muhammad did not have any miracles, is given in the following verses:

10:20 “They say, "How come no miracle came down to him (Muhammad) from his Lord?" Say, "The future belongs to God; so wait, and I am waiting along with you."”
6:37 They said, "If only a miracle could come down to him (Muhammad) from his Lord!" Say, "God is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know."”

God told us in the Quran about the miracles of many previous messengers like those of Moses (9 miracles), Jesus (e.g. raising the dead), Abraham (the birds which he split and placed on hill tops) and others. It would make no sense whatsoever for God to give personal miracles to Muhammad then keep them a secret from us, and instead tell us that Muhammad had no personal miracles!

If we take a look at the words of 54:1 one more time we read:

“The Hour (Judgement Day) has come close and the moon was split”54:1

We cannot overlook the sequence of events here, the words say that the Judgement Day will come close first and when that happens the moon will split.

Obviously the time when Muhammad was alive was not a time near the end of the world, so that once again is clear evidence that the splitting of the moon is not associated with Muhammad nor with the time of Muhammad, but is an event that will happen just before the end of the world ( this is another hypothesis). But I would think my Translation of the moon sides is 100 % correct ,as no where in the books indicated that one of the end sign it will be the splitting of the moon into 2 pieces.God talked about the the great earthquakes, the boil of the sea water, the fire and the collapse and destruction of the mountains , the great eclipse of the sun, the blood moon, and volcano etc .But no where he mentioned the split of the moon into 2 pieces.

How did the moon form? Why do we always see only one side of it? Why does the lunar day last one Earth month? Scroll down for the answers—and other facts about our moon.

How did the moon form? According to the "giant impact" theory, the young Earth had no moon.At some point in Earth's early history, a rogue planet, larger than Mars, struck the Earth in a great, glancing blow. Instantly, most of the rogue body and a sizable chunk of Earth were vaporized. The cloud rose to above 13,700 miles (22,000 kilometers) altitude, where it condensed into innumerable solid particles that orbited the Earth as they aggregated into ever larger moonlets, which eventually combined to form the moon.

By measuring the ages of lunar rocks, we know that the moon is about 4.6 billion years old, or about the same age as Earth.
The distance between the Earth and its moon averages about 238,900 miles (384,000 kilometers). The diameter of the moon is 2,160 miles (3,476 kilometers). The moon's mass—the amount of material that makes up the moon—is about one-eightieth of the Earth's mass.
Because the force of gravity at the surface of an object is the result of the object's mass and size, the surface gravity of the moon is only one-sixth that of the Earth. The force gravity exerts on a person determines the person's weight. Even though your mass would be the same on Earth and the moon, if you weigh 132 pounds (60 kilograms) on Earth, you would weigh about 22 pounds (10 kilograms) on the moon.

The rotation of the moon—the time it takes to spin once around on its own axis—takes the same amount of time as the moon takes to complete one orbit of the Earth, about 27.3 days. This means the moon's rotation is synchronized in a way that causes the moon to show the same face to the Earth at all times. One hemisphere always faces us, while the other always faces away. The lunar far side (aka the dark side) has been photographed only from spacecraft.
The shape of the moon appears to change in a repeating cycle when viewed from the Earth because the amount of illuminated moon we see varies, depending on the moon's position in relation to the Earth and the sun. We see the full moon when the sun is directly behind us, illuminating a full hemisphere of the moon when it is directly in front of us. The new moon, when the moon is darkened, occurs when the moon is almost directly between Earth and the sun—the sun's light illuminates only the far side of the moon (the side we can't see from Earth).

The moon orbits the Earth at an average speed of 2,300 miles an hour (3,700 kilometers an hour).
The moon's gravitational pull on the Earth is the main cause of the rise and fall of ocean tides. The moon's gravitational pull causes two bulges of water on the Earth's oceans—one where ocean waters face the moon and the pull is strongest and one where ocean waters face away from the moon and the pull is weakest. Both bulges cause high tides. These are high tides. As the Earth rotates, the bulges move around it, one always facing the moon, the other directly opposite. The combined forces of gravity, the Earth's rotation, and other factors usually cause two high tides and two low tides each day.
The airless lunar surface bakes in the sun at up to 243 degrees Fahrenheit (117 degrees Celsius) for two weeks at a time (the lunar day lasts about a month). Then, for an equal period, the same spot is in the dark. The dark side cools to about -272 degrees Fahrenheit (-169 degrees Celsius).
The rocks and soil brought back by Apollo missions are extremely dry; the moon has no indigenous water. However, the moon is bombarded by water-laden comets and meteoroids. Most of this water is lost to space, but some is trapped in permanently shadowed areas near both poles of the moon.
To the unaided eye, the bright lunar highlands and the dark maria (Latin for "seas") make up the "man in the moon."A telescope shows that they consist of a great variety of round impact features—scars left by objects that struck the moon long ago. The largest scars are the impact basins, ranging up to about 1,500 miles (2,500 kilometers) across. The basins were flooded with lava some time after the titanic collisions that formed them. The dark lava flows are what the eye discerns as maria.

You may have heard references made to the "dark side" of the Moon.

This popular term refers to the fact that the same physical half of the Moon, the "near side", is always facing Earth, which in turn means that there is a far side or so-called "dark side" that is never facing Earth and can only be seen from space.

This phenomenon has nothing to do with illumination or the periodic light and dark we see as the phases of the moon change. Sometimes people refer to a New Moon as a "dark moon" because the moon is fully in shadow as viewed from Earth and we can't see it, but that's not the same thing as the dark side of the moon. The side of the moon facing us during a New Moon is the same as any other moon phase, such as a Full Moon when we can see the entire face.

So why can we only see one side of the moon from Earth? We all know that the Earth rotates on its own axis, so theoretically, the Moon should also do the same, allowing us to get a full picture of the planetoid.

Why are we limited to seeing only 50 percent? It turns out that the speed at which the Moon rotates has led to this particular phenomenon. Millions of years ago, the Moon spun at a much faster pace than it does now.

However, the gravitational influence of the Earth has gradually acted upon the Moon to slow its rotation down, in the same way that the much smaller gravitational influence of the Moon acts upon the Earth to create tides. This influence slowed the rotational period of the Moon to match that of its orbit – about 27.3 days – and it is now "locked in" to this period. (Note that to observers on earth a full moon cycle takes 29.5 days.

If the Moon didn't spin at all, then eventually it would show its far

side to the Earth while moving around our planet in orbit. However, since the rotational period is exactly the same as the orbital period, the same portion of the Moon's sphere is always facing the Earth.

Another interesting fact is that actually a little bit more than half of the Moon's surface is observable from Earth. Since the Moon's orbit is elliptical, and not circular, the speed of its orbital travel increases and decreases depending on how close it is to our planet.

The rotational speed of the Moon is constant however – and this difference between orbital speed and rotational speed means that when the Moon is farthest from the Earth, its orbital speed slows down just enough to allow its rotational speed to overtake it, giving observers a small glimpse of the usually hidden area. The term for this "rocking" motion of the Moon is called libration and it allows for 59 percent of the Moon to be seen in total (over time).

Finally, one reason that the far side of the Moon is frequently referred to as the "dark side" is because many people mistakenly think that it never sees any light from the Sun. In that sense the term "dark side" is wrong and misleading. In fact, since the Moon is constantly rotating on its own axis, there is no area of the planetoid which is in permanent darkness, and the far side of the Moon is only completely devoid of sunlight during a Full Moon – when the Sun is facing the Moon with the Earth in between.

From our perspective here on Earth, the Moon always shows us the same face because it’s tidally locked to our planet. Thousands years ago it was different and the near and the far sides of the moon alternates .

At some point in the distant past, the Moon did rotate from our perspective, but the Earth’s gravity kept pulling unevenly at the Moon, slowing its rotation. Eventually the Moon locked into place, always displaying the same side to us.

But if you looked down on the Earth-Moon system from the north celestial pole, from the perspective of Polaris, the North Star, you'd see that the Moon actually does rotate on its axis. In fact, as the Moon travels around the Earth in a counter-clockwise orbit every 27.5 days, it also completes one full rotation on its axis – also moving in a counter-clockwise direction.

If you look at a time lapse animation of the Moon moving entirely through its phases over the course of a month, you'll notice a strange wobble, as if the Moon is rocking back and forth on its axis a bit. This is known as libration.

On average, the Moon is tidally locked to the Earth’s surface. But its actual orbit is elliptical, it moves closer and then more distant from the Earth.

When the Moon is at its closest point, it’s rotation is slower than its orbital speed, so we see an additional 8 degrees on its eastern side. And then when the Moon is at the most distant point, the rotation is faster than its orbital speed, so we can see 8 degrees on the Western side.

Liberation allowed astronomers to map out more of the Moon’s surface than we could if the Moon followed a circular orbit.

Until the space age, half the Moon was hidden from us, always facing away. This hemisphere of the Moon was finally first observed by the Soviet Luna 3 probe in 1959, followed by the first human eyes with Apollo 8 in 1968.

The far side of the moon, as seen by the Apollo 16 astronauts. Credit: NASA

The two hemispheres of the Moon are very different.

While the near side is covered with large basaltic plains called maria, the far side is almost completely covered in craters. The reasons for this difference is still a mystery to planetary scientists, but it’s possible that a second Moon crashed into it, billions of years ago, creating the strange surface we see today.

In conclusion

The Quran did not mention that the moon did split into 2 pieces at all, most of the history books that wrote about this subject are wrong and false.

The Moon does rotate. But its rotation exactly matches its orbit around the Earth, which is why it looks like it never does.and that happened in late time .The moon used to be far from earth and turn and both sides alternates to face the earth .Until the earth gravity pulled the moon and locked it so one side can only face the earth and other side ( far side, dark side ) never face the earth again . And that's what the Quran meant by  the time is getting closer and the moon divided to 2 halves ( not split) ( not split to 2  or become 2 moons) but became 2 sides .So please focus and understand what God had said, and dont  make stories of miracles .God dont need to split the moon and it has no logic and no reason to do that. This is just a short introduction if you need the full thesis I can presented to any people who want to know the truth.

According  to NASA scientists;

As days dilate overall, "leap seconds" have to be added to official Universal Time, which is based on Earth's rotation, to keep it in sync with ultraprecise atomic clocks that are far more stable. Twenty-four leap seconds have accrued since 1972; the most recent was tacked on in December 2008.

Those leap seconds will not cease. "The moon will continue to go farther away and Earth will continue to slow down," Lambeck says, until Earth becomes tidally locked, meaning only one hemisphere of our planet will see the moon in the sky. (The moon is already tidally locked in its revolution around Earth, so we see the same lunar hemisphere at all times.) A single day on Earth could eventually exceed 1,000 hours, but a back-of-the-envelope reckoning has this happening in 50 billion years. By then, the oceans—the main source of tidal friction—will have long since evaporated, and Earth and the moon might be toast, gobbled up tens of billions of years earlier by the ballooning red giant sun.

Another Point of view that I have . The moon split could be the point when the moon split from the earth 4.5 billion years ago as the moon was part of our earth .

Several mechanisms have been proposed for the Moon's formation 4.527 ± 0.010 billion years ago, some 30–50 million years after the origin of the Solar System. Recent research presented by Rick Carlson indicates a slightly lower age of between 4.40 and 4.45 billion years. These mechanisms included the fission of the Moon from Earth's crust through centrifugal force (which would require too great an initial spin of Earth), the gravitational capture of a pre- formed Moon (which would require an unfeasibly extended atmosphere of Earth to dissipate the energy of the passing Moon), and the co-formation of Earth and the Moon together in the primordial accretion disk (which does not explain the depletion of metals in the Moon). These hypotheses also cannot account for the high angular momentum of the Earth–Moon system.

The prevailing hypothesis today is that the Earth–Moon system formed as a result of a giant impact, where a Mars-sized body (named Theia) collided with the newly formed proto-earth, blasting material into orbit around it that accreted to form the Moon. The earth use to have 2 moons, one smaller and our moon , the smaller peace later sucked into earth gravity and collided with earth again.

This hypothesis perhaps best explains the evidence, although not perfectly. Eighteen months prior to an October 1984 conference on lunar origins, Bill Hartmann, Roger Phillips, and Jeff Taylor challenged fellow lunar scientists: "You have eighteen months. Go back to your Apollo data, go back to your computer, do whatever you have to, but make up your mind. Don’t come to our conference unless you have something to say about the Moon’s birth." At the 1984 conference at Kona, Hawaii, the giant impact hypothesis emerged as the most popular.

 ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Look how many translation for the word RATQAN. It takes only one mistake to blame the Quran for it , so please do not translate without mention every single possibility of the word,  Muhammad Sarwar is come very close to the translation than others.

Sahih International: Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

Pickthall: Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?

Yusuf Ali: Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? Specially if your mother tongue is not Arabic .99% of those who translate are from Pakistan.

Shakir: Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe?

Muhammad Sarwar: Have the unbelievers not ever considered that the heavens and the earth were one piece and that We tore them apart from one another. From water We have created all living things. Will they then have no faith?

Mohsin Khan: Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

Arberry: Have not the unbelievers then beheld that the heavens and the earth were a mass all sewn up, and then We unstitched them and of water fashioned every living thing? Will they not believe?

@Abdullah Almadi, sincerest apologies!
I confused the lunar eclipse with the solar eclipse. The event I was referring to, included the solar eclipse, whose date apparenlty was: "29 Shawwal AH 10, as 27 January" (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_calendar)

On the matter of splitting of the moon, the theory FARHAN_UDDIN above has quoted (i.e. the actual splitting will happen near the day of judgement) has been one opinion of Muslim scholars. Al-Zamakhshari (a Mutazalite) and Yusuf Ali give this as one possible interpretation.

As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

The moon was never split in half.  The following two articles make this very clear:

www.answering-christianity.com/moon_split.htm
www.answering-christianity.com/did_prophet_muhammad_split_moon.htm

Take care,

 Assalamu alaikum,

I watched the video fully and TBH it's stupid. First, how did the prophet know that the eclipse was coming? Second, the companions already know what the eclipse looks like, so how would the next deceived so easily? Third, the moon literally got SPLIT into two parts, the eclipse in the video doesn't look like it at all. And fourth, the Prophet (PBUH) split the moon with his index finger and that shouldn't have taken that long. The eclipse shown in the video took a long time and it was fastened up. So this video is stupid. The prophet (PBUH) split the moon and that was one of his miracles, just like the miracles of Moses and Jesus  (PBUT).

According to the video I shared above (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JI0vApyi7E), the narrations which talk about, that the Prophet called the disbelievers and then with his index finger split the moon into two parts as a proof of his "Prophet-hood" are unreliable.

It would appear (according to the reliable narrations and Qur'an verse) that some extraordinary event happened (whether it be an actual splitting or whatever) and the Prophet directed the attention of the people towards it.

The Qur'an also talks about this event as evidence for the "Judgement Day" and not for the "Prophet-hood" of Prophet Muhammad.

Is this man even a scholar anyways? Most scholars are of the view that Muhammad (PBUH) split the moon and that was one of his miracles.

From what I've read most of the scholars might be of the opinion that the moon was actually split, but at-least a few prominent scholars are of the opinion that this cannot be called a miracle of Prophet Muhammad or that he was the one who performed it when the disbelievers demanded a miracle. Some of these scholars are:

Maulana Moudoodi (Tafheem ul Quran)
Amin Ahsan Islahi (Tadabbure Quran)
Javed Ahmad Ghamidi (Albayan)

These are from the Indian subcontinent region, the guy in the video himself is probably not a scholar but he translates the works of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi into English.

According to Fath al Bari Ibn Hajar says: “Apart from the narration by Hadrat Anas, in no other narration of this story have I come across the theme that the incident of the splitting of the Moon had taken place on the demand of the polytheists. (Bab Inshiqaq al-Qamar)

Most scholars say this based on the hadiths. But there r many hadiths which r corrupted and completely incompatible with the verses of the Quran.

I'm sorry but in the end, was it an eclipse or did the moon get cracked?

It is all rubbish. The prophet (peace be upon him) split the moon.
