Christian claim - Jesus has the names of Allah in the Bible?
« on: October 23, 2015, 08:05:11 PM »
As-salaamu alaykum brothers and sisters, I hope you are all doing well. I was sent this by a Christian and I wanted to know what you all might have in response to it:

I AM THE WAY الهادي AL-HADI, I AM THE TRUTH الحق AL-HAQQ, I AM THE LIFE الحي AL-H'AYYU - John 14:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I AM THE LIGHT النور AN-NUR - John 8:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

I AM THE FIRST الأول AL-AWWAL, I AM THE LAST الأخر AL-AKHIR - Revelation 2:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 ''And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;'' & Revelation 21:6-7 King James Version (KJV) 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

THE ALMIGHTY العزيز AL-AZIZ - Revelation 1:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

JazakAllah Khair.

If we look at how Kings or Rulers are addressed, they are addressed with attributes. Which actually mimick the attributes of King of Kings.
But that doesnt mean the Kings/Rulers are God.

Quote
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Also, this was spoken by Father/Yhwh in Rev 21 , in short Jesus was not the Alpha Omega /First /Last. Proving he was created by the Father/Yhwh

Book of Revelation is basically about the coming of (My Son) sent by the Father to spread the message about serving Father/Yhwh.
That is the purpose My Son descend down. Not to serve the Son but to serve Father.

Quote
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Father/Yhwh made a statement in verse 8
Quote
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God (Yhwh), “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

~~~
Centuries later, as the Christian scribes saw no claim from Jesus stating that he is Alpha and Omega, First/Last. They rewrite Revelation 1:11 by saying as Jesus reappears on earth, he will claim to be Alpha and Omega. Having the same eternal feat like Father/Yhwh which is simply not true.
~~~
Revelation 21 talks about Yhwh speaking (since the verse talks about the throne not minor throne). In Revelation, priests and Jesus have their own thrones in heaven. A

nd in Revelation 22. We see Jesus when reappears on earth. He claim to be Alpha Omega just repeating the falseness in Revelation 1:11.

~~~
Also Book of Revelation do not exist in compiled format. So the other new chapters
~~~
Book of Hebrews too mentioned clearly that Yhwh Father is the Alpha Omega. And Jesus was following the commands of Father.

5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,“You are my Son;    today I have become your Father”
8 But about the Son he says,“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

So Jesus will not take over or share Yhwh's throne.

But of course, since the Greek Books were not written in corpus. New chapters came in and change the story of how Jesus rather turn into alpha omega/first last.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

I first would like to welcome brother Isubmit2Allah to the board.  May Allah Almighty make it a blessing to you akhi.  Ameen.

In regards to who Jesus (Isa) is, we first need to know that according to Islam, he is:

1-  Created from the Word.
2-  Is filled with the Spirit.

www.answering-christianity.com/sahih_muslim_declares_jesus_is_gods_word_and_spirit.htm
www.answering-christianity.com/word_of_god.htm

Also according to Islam, Jesus was also given the Book that enabled him to do limited creation.  Others were also given similar Books and the same Book by Allah Almighty:

www.answering-christianity.com/jesus_creating.htm

******* Jesus being given this Book proves that he is weak and a creation of Allah Almighty, as Allah Almighty had THOROUGHLY mentioned in many Noble Verses throughout the Glorious Quran.  Some silly polytheist trinitarian pagans like Sam Shamoun and others tried to use the Noble Verse that talked about this to prove trinity from the Glorious Quran.

Now, as to Jesus being the beginning and end and all of the rest of the things that were mentioned in the post above, it is important to know that according to the Bible, Jesus had to be in according to king Melchizedek.  The Bible literally says "in according to Melchizedek".  So Jesus had to be inline with him and similar to him.  And king Melchizedek was the Jews' highest priest who had no father and no mother, and NO BEGINNING AND NO END.  Visit:

www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm

****** Not even Jesus was said to have No beginning and no end.

Also, Jesus denied having any power.  And he even said that if he were to bear witness upon himself, then his witness would be a lie.  Visit:

www.answering-christianity.com/questions.htm

And last and not least, visit the following link to see the Glorious Quran's Overwhelming and Stunning Scientific Miracles:

Trinity is false.  Islam is the Divine Truth from GOD Almighty.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Assalamu alaikum brothers,

At first, why do you even bother about what is written in the bible? Isn't that a corrupted book with 100+ contradictions? Anyone can write these things and put them in the book. But yet it is crystal clear from the OT and NT that God is one and One only.

Tell the polytheist to bring a 100% proof that Jesus really said those things.

Don't you know that there are so many false hadiths making Prophet Muhammad almost equal to God? Like the hadiths where he says he was created from Allah's Light, the world was created for him........... NAUZUBILLAH... he never said these things.

May Allah save us from the fitna of Christians and the fitna of false Hadiths.
