I need a good strong response to this
« on: May 17, 2015, 12:40:15 PM »
another spastic christian said the following

What a joke....the Qur'an can only be understood in Arabic - that's not about languages, but about hiding the truth. If people understood the Qur'an, they'd reject Islam in a heartbeat. And certainly, most Muslims in this group cannot answer questions about verses in the Qur'an...which makes me wonder what they are here to debate! You don't know...we can't know because we "can't understand it"...meanwhile, you want everyone to convert to Islam. People are even forced to do so, so what are they converting to? No one really knows, except maybe the scholars who usually have their own agenda....it's like the early days of Catholicism, when Catholics were not permitted to read the Bible. God wants everyone to know His Word. He keeps no secrets. Obviously, this Allah has lots of secrets.

5:16. Wherewith Allâh guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islâmic Monotheism).
25:66. Say: "It (this Qur'ân) has been sent down by Him (Allâh) (the Real Lord of the heavens and earth) Who knows the secret of the heavens and the earth. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
17: 9. Verily, this Qur'ân guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW, etc.). who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise).
54: 40, 54:32 ,54:22 and indeed, we have made the Qur'ân easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?
14: 1. Alif-Lâm-Râ.  (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad SAW) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allâh and Islâmic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.
17: 9. Verily, this Qur'ân guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW, etc.). who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise).
17: 82. And We send down from the Qur'ân that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.
22: 54. And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Qur'ân) is the truth from your Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And verily, Allâh is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Path.
24: 34. And indeed We have sent down for you Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that make things plain, and the example of those who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who are Al-Muttaqûn
27: 77. And truly, it (this Qur'ân) is a guide and a mercy to the believers.

Was the Noble Quran sent for Arabs only? Or was it sent to Mankind?
