Luke 1  (KJV)

59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.

60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.

61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
(NIV LUKE 1:61 = They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who has that name.”)

As for the hadith, our prophet was totally right. And anyone claiming jews didn't practice this naming thing... doesn't know his own bible and should stop doing whatever he is doing and start reading the bible...

You are right, but I personally don't prefer a proof from the Bible, I didn't mention the Bible in my article, so that Christians or Jews may not claim that once a Muslim claims to say the Bible is corrupt, and once he quotes from it. Such approaches weakens your argument in my opinion. So I preferred to respond back from the Islamic traditional sources since the argument is about Islam.

I can provide a proof:

Shams Al Deen Al Thahabi says: "It's not allowed and legislated for anyone after the descent of the Qur'an to read the Torah or to memorize it, because it is substituted, corrupted and abrogated, truth was mixed with falsehood in it, but reading it for consideration or responding to the Jews, is okay for a person with knowledge reading a little. And disagreeing is better."

So it's ok to read the Bible for reasoning. But disagreement is certainly better.

But, not the whole thing is corrupt. Actually, most are just replacements of words and mis translations.

But I met a guy on youtube who told me some gospels are man made.(christian) (I don't remember which, and he failed to answer why specifaclly these)
He hated the catholic church but failed to ignore a trinitary concept... So we need to use bible

It's useless to talk about quran to most non muslims for in the first place they don't believe it's the word of God anyway. Only a few that wants to learn will take in consideration what you will say about the quran. (look at the comment on your page)

U need to come with logic, and some verses of the bible...

For example, when people say there are 3 gods and these equal 1. U don't need to link them the quran where it says Desist of saying trinity.
But rather, link them just a few passages from the bible that is against this... This will make them think and take consideration for what they know...
Most will ofcourse roll in rage :D And after THIS, when they read quran, it'll become clearer for them.

That's the best way because Allah choses who he guides and who he does not.

U can be the smartest, best person alive, but if Allah doesn't want you to see light, U will never.
We can proof him the quran is true, still he will not believe.. right?
(in bible also god says only he choses those who are guided)

I agree, not all of the Bible is corrupt:

Al-Bidayah Wal Nihaya By: Ibn Kathir:

"Our Sheikh the notable Imam Abul-'Abbas Ibn Taimiyyah said: As for those who argued that it [the Torah] is entirely corrupted from beginning to end without sparing one letter, they are mistaken. Also, those who argued that nothing has been corrupted are mistaken. The truth is that alteration and change had reached it and they [the Jews] manipulated its words with additions and omissions as they manipulated its meanings. This is well recognized on pondering and may be explained in another occasion, and Allah knows best...."

But I sometimes see an exaggeration from the brothers even in this site, that they are quoting the Bible just like it's 100% the pure word of Allah. I sometimes see some fallacies in our mission of Dawah. But still, each of us has his own opinion of dialogues.

Ofcourse but It's very easy to know which part jews played with.

The 'gospels' that are really gods word or very correct commenteries on gods word. These can be easily distinguished from the other books that contradicts the bible and the teachings of jesus.

For example, there are christians out there today not accepting 7 books in OT and they also say NT has this too but can't get their mind on it since the catholic church didn't leave much behind.

But the point is, if bible says: jesus is the only begotten son(and only very very few passages have this) u know already this is not correct and has been altered.

But if it doesn't say anything against the quran, why would you need to accept is as corrupt.

Islam is not a new religion, it's confirmation what they already posses, and we find no evidence that bible has changed since our prophets time.
But we have lots of evidence that every 5 years or so a new major translation comes out and defines a verse SO different, it makes a different meaning.

That's our difference, we still use the original version, we also have translations that are not same/a bit different than other translations. Does this mean quran is changed? Nope.

The 'son of god' title: OT has nothing like this
NT has: 42 references. (biblegateway '' son of god '')

But we also know the greek word for Son is exactly the same as Servant... So, how are christians sure this is not wrongly translated?
