Those are a few verses of the New Testament talking against alcohol:

Luke 1:15: "For he (Yahya as) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb."

Ephesians 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit"

Mark 15:23 "And they gave him (Jesus as) to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not."

Romans 14:21 "It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak."

(Taken from King James Version)

what is being being mention just about good behaviors of those who are righteous nothing to do with committing sins.

Because in their belief, the moment someone puts faith that the 2nd God under Oneness Godhead whom is the Word been given flesh after being fruit inside the womb of a woman by the 3rd God that is Holy Spirit; so that the Word (Son of God) can die for the sins of humans.

The believer will be liberated of the sins and enters the Kingdom of God by just having faith about the act of giving of salvation by 2nd God (Word) and 3rd God (Spirit), whom both are equals beside the 1st God (Yhwh/Father).

Yes, they think that your deeds have no importance, because only the believe in crucifixion will save you from hellfire regardless of your deeds (except in Roman Catholic Church, they combine deeds and crucifixion).
