Her name is Jennifer Grout, and she is from Boston Massachusetts.  Now, while she's an American citizen, she competed in the "Arabs got Talent", and she actually won third place.  Here are the songs that she sang in Arabic:

Amazing talent!  She resurrected the old Arabic melodies and music style from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s that got buried today with all of the junk "fast food" music that shortly vanishes after it goes live.  Amazingly, it took an American girl to do it.  LOL.

Extremely sorry if I'm being offensive, and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think u're trying to praise her musical and singing talents. Isn't music and singing forbidden in Islam, with very minor exceptions in certain cases?

Thank you for the post akhi, and please don't apologize.  I don't see anything wrong with the post that I made, because Jennifer Grout, an American girl from Boston, sang real Arabic melodies and poetical songs while the others sang modern-day garbage.  Arabic songs used to be true class, and Jennifer just sang a few of them.

As to music being forbidden, please produce your evidence.  Rubbish talk is haram.  But music itself isn't.  Please visit:
