Assalamu Alaikum everyone,
I have already posted the estimates and the ideal team structure for the wiki project here -
www.answering-christianity.com/blog/index.php?topic=1024.0There are many ways to create a wiki and most of them require the creator to know Python language (although a few also work on java, c#, c++ and other languages). If we embark on this project, everyone involved should be prepared to dedicate a lot of their time for about 6 months (according to my estimates).
Meanwhile, I really appreciate the work started here in the form of articles rebutting many myths about Islam (I would like to take this opportunity to commend ThatMuslimGuy and mclinkin94 for the wonderful articles they have written and the effort they have taken in their research). This is important, but I re-iterate my point that we shouldn't restrict ourselves to just debunking islamophobic websites (wikiislam is just one among a zillion islamophobic sites). If we devote all our time to just telling people what Islam does not teach, when will we tell them what Islam actually teaches? We must make this wiki as a vanguard to people who want to know about Islam as a religion, not an islamophilic reaction to an islamophobic website.
