QUESTIONS ON THE AUTHENCITY OF HADITHS

ASSALAMUALYKUM,


       Christens often like to claim that, today's hadith and the hadith left by Muhammad (SAW) are not same. They say that, as there are no definite number of hadiths and as there are no old manuscripts of Sahih Bukhari,Muslim and Tirmizi , so new hadith can be added with the old ones. They also claim, Muslim on daily basis are making of hadiths and adding them to the hadith volume.

 So, how should we answer them? Please help me.


Please someone tell me,

 Are there any old manuscript of Hadiths books?

 Is there any definite number of Hadith?

 How can we be sure, that no new hadith has been inserted in last 1400 years,in the Hadith volume?

Brothers, tell me one thing,
 Is there any definite number of Hadiths?

if not then , Non-muslims even some Muslims claim that, muslim scholars have inserted and are inserting new hadiths with the old one.

 And they also claim that, the hadith which are said to be Muhammad's (SAW), about the future predictions before Qiyamah are also the new hadiths inserted by the Muslims. Specially the hadith where Muhammad(SAW) says that there will be tall buildings before Qiyamah, is claimed to be a new hadith inserted by the Muslims.

 Brothers please help me removing by confusions by answering the above allegations in detail.

 Are there any old manuscript of Hadiths books?

Yes many. I know when you buy copies of the hadith collections they contain pictures of them. I dont know any website links however on this.

Do a google search on manuscripts you may find them.
Is there any definite number of Hadith?

Logic dictates yes. As you cannot have q chain of Narration from now to the prophet saw that would be like 28+ preople.

Now new hadith collections can be made. E.g Sahih Abu dawud by Skeikh Al-Albani which is all the authentic hadith from Sunan Abu Dawud. But none of these Hadith are 'new'.

There are many hadith collections some authentic some not. So hadith always need to be graded.

As for the claim hadith can be added. This completely false and a lie. Yes hadith can be fabricated but no authentic hadith can just be made up or added to like Sahih Bukhari Etc.

As for saying that the hadith of tall building being "added". Complete lies its found in many collections of hadith e.g sunan an nasai , ibn majah etc.
Simply say bring your proof for your claim. Show me its been added etc.

And some genuine advice brother if someone quotes you a hadith. Ask for a reference and a grading. If its grading is weak or it is fabricated dont accept it.

   Brother thanks for the nice explanation. Brother just answer the last two Questions of mine. And it's one of the major Questions asked by some Muslims.

 How will you prove that no new hadith have been added to the volume of Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi or other hadith collections by the Muslim scholars?

And brother, they often ask, is the hadiths which Muslims have today and which they used to have 1000 years ago the same? if it is then what's the proof? 

 Please brother answer this. And it will crystallize the whole matter.
