Wanted to bring to your attention the following website aliases:
www.HariKrishna.orgThe Hindu "Hari Krishna" ("Energy of GOD", which is the Hindus' way of saying "GOD is Great" in their religion) movement or sect is among the most popular here in the US among the Hinu community. So hopefully many of them will sometime in their lives will run into these two websites. More power to Islam, insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing).
In Hinduism, everything is part of the Energy of GOD Almighty. And the closest ones to GOD Almighty are the ones who utilize everything they posses to the service of GOD Almighty. This is how one spiritualizes things, and spiritualizes his/her own self. They utilize themselves and all of the things they have to the service of GOD Almighty, since everything is part of the Energy of GOD Almighty.
Not a bad concept. A lot of it is harmonious with Islam, even though we don't believe that we are part of GOD Almighty. GOD Almighty is fully independent from everything and all things. But the worst part about it is that they use idols to idolize GOD Almighty by "getting closer to Him". To them, He the Almighty is too far and too infinite and too impossible to comprehend, that they need to simplify Him by some respresentations.
So the elephant idol for instance represents a GOD Almighty that listens. So a person from them would speak and pray and bow to an elephant idol when speaking and praying to GOD Almighty. This of course is ENTIRELY AND COMPLETELY AGAINST ISLAM, and Islam came to fight it. But I most certainly believe that this idol-worship concept is something that came later, and wasn't part of the Original Islam that was sent to them.
