Ya'Jooj and Ma'Jooj (Gog and Magog)

As-Salamu 'Alaykum, yesterday I asked my mother about the day of judgment, and the signs and things that are going to happen. And I asked about Ya'Jooj and Ma'Jooj (Got and Magog) and I went online and I read that Dhul-Qarnayn (PBUH) built a gate somewhere between two mountains I believe, and I read a passage from the Noble Qur'an. And when I read about where the gate/wall might be, I read that it might be the great wall of China. Because people died while making the wall and they're in the wall trying to get out, that's what I thought to myself. And I also read that the Chinese built this wall to protect themselves from the Mongolians who where attacking them and killing them. Some say that the mongolians are Ya'Jooj and Ma'Jooj (Gog and Magog), and some people say that the Chinese are Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj (Gog and Magog) because they're high in numbers. So I would like to know your thoughts on this brothers, Jazakum'Allah Khair.

I heard it wasn't the great wall of China. It can't be because the Mongols just went around it.

I heard they are 2 tribes from the sons of Adam (AS).  They could be any race but im not sure ill do more research

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Tariq,

Good request akhi.  I will insha'Allah try to find them and post them.  But after I re-read the Noble Verses, it occurred to me that the Noble Verses were not referring to two mountains.  No mention of JABAL or JABALYN (dual plural of jabal) mentioned.  Instead, we find the following Noble Words:

1-  Saddayn السدين (two dams, two fortifications or two fortified places).

2-  Sadafayn الصدفين (two blockers, two repellers, two resisting or defending places).  This Noble Verse, SADAF is used in the Glorious Quran to regarding the disbelievers who behave as obstacles against Islam, or to be resistants against Islam.

I will re-write the article with these points.

Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj (Gog and Magog)  are the people who spread the fithna [problem] to all society,dulkarnain[a] protect the people from making a wall with iorn & copper with the help of the people ,who living between two mountain ,we don't know who r they? and where is it? bec's he traveled all the part of the world........................

they r flat faced people with small eye................

Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj (Gog and Magog) try to destroy the wall every day,every day they make hole ,next day it become fill by the power of allha[t'a],they can't destroy the wall until the the time for them reach .............

Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj (Gog and Magog) will come to our world before the end of world ,after the death of dhajjal.........they broken the wall ,spread all part of the world............kill all the people & try to attack sky [they throw weapon[arrow to sky]..............drink all the source of water.............allha protect Muslim & their leader isa[a] from a secret part of mountain..................they saw the first group of Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj (Gog and Magog),they r huge number of people [prophet[sa] says people going to hell 1 man from prophet koum[people] =700 people of Ya'Jooj and ma'joo .so we can imagine how many of them.................

isa[a] & muslim pray to allha for the protection from Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj,allha protect them to spread a disease coursing 'worm' to people of Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj ...........they r[all of them] die with the affect of disease....................

allha clean the earth with birds & heavy rain.......................

pray to allha protect us from dhajjal & Ya'Jooj and ma'jooj ...............
