I doubt this will be the "last doubt"
. Feel free to always ask your questions and/ore share your concerns no matter how hard they may be, dear brother.
Regarding your question, Harut and Marut:
[002:102] They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by God's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!They are not a myth. Everything the Glorious Quran Says is 100% True, akhi. Harut and Marut are two Angels that deal with magic; black magic and other forms of magic. It is forbidden by Allah Almighty for us Muslims to try to do it. It is a harm for us and not a profit, and it would be among the losers in the Hearafter.
Black magic is real. There are dark forces and negative energy out there. But they can be easily defeated by seeking refuge with Allah Almighty and reciting the Glorious Quran:
[113:001] Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn
[113:002] From the mischief of created things;
[113:003] From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
[113:004] From the mischief of those who practise secret arts;
[113:005] And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
[114:001] Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
[114:002] The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
[114:003] The God (for judge) of Mankind,-
[114:004] From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
[114:005] (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
[114:006] Among Jinns and among men.
I hope this helps, insha'Allah.
Take care,
Osama Abdallah
