question
« on: September 09, 2017, 11:13:45 AM »
salam,

this verse seems to say that nur, or noor is the source of light (which we claim to be reflected light because the moon is called noor in quran)

quran 24:35, Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

how to respond

thanks

The guidance of Allah is pretty clear ; to differentiate falsehood of worshiping many forms of sculptures/idols and be guided to worship directly the one and unique Creator.
From the darkness, the guidance glows clearly as Light upon light
