In a debate with a missionary

He brought up the following..........

Gregory DuBois
This is in response to an earlier portion of this conversation. I put it where it belongs, but I want to make sure it is not missed. Isa James Islam Poet, The Old Testament prophets were not just sent to their own nation. Don't you know the Bible well enough to see that Moses was sent to Egypt? Other prophets also have recorded in the venerable Old Testament their messages to the kings and nations around Jerusalem. These messages mean that God always sent his prophets to the entire world. He is after all Lord of the Universe, not a paganesque local deity. Daniel was sent to Babylon and he preached to the king, who became a beliver through his encounter with the divine. The Jews were chosen by God to be the light of the world and you muslims are trying to snuff that out and take over. You are so wrong!

Israelite prophets were sent for Israelites as they were scattered within and outside Jerusalem. When they encounter pagans , those prophets will also remind or invite the non-Israelite to worship One God (to follow the message brought by Prophet Noah (pbuh) but not invite masses as their duty were to be sent as prophets for Israelites.

Reason many prophets  were sent to Israelite was to keep on reminding the Israelites to stick to covenant as they are arrogant and not take covenant seriously.

Basically the Israelite prophets will just remind the non-Israelite to worship One God following the teaching of prophet Noah and their main duty is still teaching Laws to observant and wicked Israelites.

The Israelite prophets never sent out their companions to spread message to the entire world.
The only prophet that sent out companions to entire world would be the prophet as described in Isaiah 42:12 where he sent people from Kedar and Sela to proclaim His praise (praise the singular unique God) and abandon worshiping divine partners, manifestations, incarnations, equals etc..
