Is mary' fathers name imran or joachim?????

   Assalam alykam can you please help me with this. Is surrah imran named after moses father or marys father??? Are they both named imran? I thought marys dad was joachim???/
People say amaram is the name of moses father and marys is joachim or in Arabic imran? Im confused on this

Mary's (Mariam) Father name in Arabic is "Imran" and Christians call him as "Joachim" Just like we call "Jesus" as "Isa".

Surah Al-Imran is talking about Mariam ( Mary's ) Father not the father of Mosses(PBUH) [Moosa]

So when the lineage is involved   imran   the Quran says we chose from the family of Abrham noah and imran is it talking about musas dad or mariums

I think in realaity  there is only 1 imran  the  chapter is talking about the lineage of Mary and  the verse where it says the wife of imran   the correct translation is   a women from the decendant  of imran because there is no diffinate article  saying the wife of imran   it could also mean a women from imran

if you look in the verse of Quran we will read that the mother give birth to a daughter. The mother clearly said.. "I have named her Mary" . Why did the mother choose that name? So if we look at hadith Mughira b. Shu'ba . Then we know the mother give names after the names of Apostles and pious person. But still..

what trigger her to give name of Mary? So if we reread the verse in Quran, we will see the phrase wife of Imran. So we know that father has the same name with father of Moses that cause the mother to pick same pious name for her daughter following the name of Amran's daughter.
