Virgin birth from paganism ???
« on: November 28, 2013, 11:41:29 AM »
Assalam alykam bro we believe in the virgin birth yes  now there were many stories in pagan times of virgin births did the bible copy from these stories did the Quran copy from the bible???on the virgin birth story is it historically documented???

there are many pagan born of virgin stories

Since 10.000 BC History is abundent with carvings and writings regarding the worship
of the sun
It gave us our light ~ life on this planet without it would not survive
These realities make the sun the most adorned object of all time
for earth, likewise, ancient cultures where very aware of the stars~
The zodiac is a result of this relation to the sun thus elaborate myths came into being

The sun was known in ancient times as "Sun God" ~"Light of the World" ~
"The saviour of human kind"

Myths where made in honour of worshiping the need of the sun for human survival
and understanding its cycle, and living according to it for daily living.

The first myth was Horus
horus
The Sun God of Egypt, born at around 3000 BC:
The phrase Horiszon comes from the word Horus has risen
Hours is also derived from Horus, as it is the suns track through the day.
Sunset comes from Horus**
Ancient people said Horus evil brother was set
Horus vs Set
Set was the personification of the darkness~
Light verses dark - good verses evil
The word sunset derive from Horus vs Set

These are the biggest mythical dualities ever known

Horus
* Born on the 25th December
* Born of a virgin
* Star in the East
* Adorned by three kings
* Teacher at the age of 12
* Baptised/ Ministery at 30
* Performed miracles
* Known as Lamb of God The Truth The Light Gods anionted Son
* He was crusified
* Died for three days
* Reserrected

Whether original or not this myth's influence was seen and penuated many other cultures
all over the world

I will now mention all the other mythical solar messiahs that stemed from Horus
and there very familar story follows the sames format as above.

Attis of Greece 1200 BC
* Born on the 25th December
* Born of a vigin
* Star in the East
* Adorned by three kings
* Teacher at twelve
* Baptised/ Ministery at 30
* Had twelve disciples
* Performed miracles
* He was crusified
* Dead for three days
* Reserected

Krishna
* Born in India 900 BC
* born of a virgin
* Star in the East
* Adorned by three Kings ......
(Same events then follows as above)

Dionysus of Greece
* Born on the 25th December
* Born of a virgin
* Star in the East
* Adorned by three kings .....
(same events follow...)

Mithra of Persia 1200 BC
* Born 25th December
* born of a virgin
* Star in the East
* Adorned by three kings
(same events follow....)

There are dozens of crusified saviours through mythology, all over the world
Fitting these general discriptions

The question is why these Attributes :?:

To find out let us look at the most recent of the solar Messiahs
Jesus Christ

or is Jesus the authentic and the only one recorded   only Matthew And luke in the gospels mention the virgin birth  now did they copy from pagan texts  the authors of these gospels could be adding the pagan stories
