You cant spread mischeif in the land
planting Marijuana is an act of kindness, not mischief.
As'salamu Alaikum,
Marijuana is a drug that, on the long run, hurt the brain cells, dries up the body and hurt the body's systems, such as the digestive system, nervous system, and others. It's an intoxicant, and all intoxicants are forbidden in Islam:
[005:090] O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
[005:091] Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?Getting stoned is never good. I've spoken with marijuana users before, and they said it sometimes makes you feel high, but many times also it depresses you to a point of making you cry.
Nothing good about being stupid. I've met stoned people on the street before. They don't know where on earth they're in. Plus, some of them even had already peed in their pants. The more you input this garbage into your body, the more and more it'll mess you up and take you out of the reality of the world you're living in. So, you'll end up losing your job, losing the people around you, and end up homeless on the street.
None of this is cool. It's dangerous and fatal. One can also imagine how dangerous it is when one drives, as driving is part of every adult's life in the age that we live in. As Muslims we shouldn't propagate this garbage to our people, nor to any other people.
Forbidden to do to Muslims:85:10 ان الذين فتنوا المؤمنين والمؤمنات ثم لم يتوبوا فلهم عذاب جهنم ولهم عذاب الحريق [085:010] Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women, and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. "a trial" (fitnah) means to trick or to deceive someone. It also means to make life intentionally harder on someone unjustly. Dishonesty and trickery and evil hidden agendas are forbidden in Islam, even to the disbelievers.
The Arabic word,
fitnah, means to put someone to trial or a tumult or an enticing and tempting situation. For example:
1- A girl walking down the street with a tight short skirt that is revealing and making her sexually enticing is a FITNAH to the men who see her.
2- Bullying someone and making their life difficult at work or school, or in life in general, is a FITNAH that you're applying on him or her. It is also forbidden.
3- Enticing someone to smoke pot, or a non-smoker to smoke cigarettes, is a fitnah, and it is forbidden.
