Wa Alaikum As'salam akhi,
Every Prophet is a Messenger. Not every Messenger is a Prophet. A Messenger is only a Messenger if he only gives the Divine Message, but doesn't make Prophecies. A Prophet is a Messenger of GOD who makes Prophecies given to him by GOD Almighty. An ordinary person making false claims of divine revelations sent to him, or makes prophecies (such as reading your hands) is a dajjal, even if his/her guess is correct. An Islamic proverb that is derived from the Hadiths and the Glorious Quran says:
كذب المنجمون و لو صدقو "The fortune tellers are liars even when they're truthful (or correct)" (
