The evil Middle East; their days are coming!

She didn't even get to have a lawyer to defend her:  http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/13/world/meast/saudi-arabia-beheading/index.html?hpt=wo_c2. 

And even if she was guilty (which we don't know that, and we'll never know that), the way her trial went was completely unjust and proposterous!

What toilet do they live in over there??  And who the hell do they think they are??  I heard so much about the Gulf and the Middle Eastern countries in general, but never to that low level.  Their days are coming.  They'll pay for all of their evil and their injustices.  And most importantly, they'll suffer severely for letting the beautiful and Divine Religion of Islam down.  Isn't the Glorious Quran filled with Noble Verses such as the following:

"O ye who believe! stand out firmly for God, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear God. For God is well-acquainted with all that ye do. (The Noble Quran, 5:8 )"

"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers. (The Noble Quran, 60:8 )"

".....Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear God: for God is strict in punishment. (The Noble Quran, 5:2)"

"God doth command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; And when ye judge between man and man, that ye judge with justice: Verily how excellent is the teaching which He giveth you! For God is He Who heareth and seeth all things. (The Noble Quran, 4:58)"

"O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best protect both..... (The Noble Quran, 4:135)"

Woe to them!!  Their days are coming!  Their doom is coming!

What kind of "trial" did she have on her own and without a lawyer, when she probably hardly knew how to read and write.  Also, it was pretty much her words against theirs.  She claims that the baby died from choking on milk.  I am not taking her side here, but I don't see any evidence here to support a complete death penalty.  Babies are fragile, and that moron who gave him birth shouldn't have given her fragile baby to anybody from the first place, especially an untrained maid.  But because they're Saudi nationals, the court had to side by them.

Here is what Human Rights said:

"Human rights groups said Nafeek did not have access to a lawyer during her pretrial interrogation, during which she said she was assaulted and forced to sign a confession under duress. Philip Luther, director of Amnesty International's Middle East and North Africa program, said last week that the case shows the Saudis are "woefully out of step ... with their international obligations regarding the use of the death penalty.""

I am sorry, I'll believe the Western Human Rights Organizations anytime anyday over our corrupt courts and governments.

You say that she got a trial.  What kind of trial did she get when:

1-  She had no lawyer.

2-  She was tortured and forced to confess a crime that she said she didn't commit: "....during which she said she was assaulted and forced to sign a confession under duress...."

And why should the court let her life be determined by the baby's parents?  It's not like she killed him by a sword and everyone witnessed it.  I understand the BLOOD-MONEY LAW IN ISLAM, where the murdered person's family can have a choice to forgive and take blood money instead of an all out war or a life-for-life punishment.  I understand that.  But there is no clear-cut smoking gun proof that the baby was indeed murdered.  He could've very well died from choking on milk.  How does the court know??  And again, why should her life be put under the mercy of the baby's parents in this situation?

We also hear horror stories about the maltreatment of labors in the Gulf, where it is considered legalized slavery.  They sleep packed like sheeps in a single bed room (in barracks in the middle of the desert away from the city), and they work ungodly hours in the Middle of the hot desert 18 hours everyday for 1 dollar per hour, and sometimes even less.

Yet, we see a 90-year old, with all of his teeth fallen out of his mouth, on TV having a hobby of collecting the most expensive cars, and how he had finally purchased his multi-million dollar 100th car and stored it in his garage for collections.

Do you see the imbalance here?  Where is Islam in all of this?  Is this the mercy to mankind that these people are propagating??

Akhi, we keep hearing this from Muslims and others who lived there and worked there.  And it's not CNN that I am trusting.  The Human Rights Organizations are trustworthy.  It is our governments and many of our people who are liars and hypocrites, and covering up and lying is very easy for them.

What kind of a country that would sentence somebody to DEATH, and execute him/her, without that person having a lawyer to defend them?!  What if it was the parents who killed the child and wanted to frame the maid?  What if it was the mother who did it?  Did the defendent have a lawyer to CROSS-EXAMINE the evidence and claims?  Did they involve scientific experts in this to give their opinions?  Absolutely not.  Did not Allah Almighty Command us to CROSS-EXAMINE claims:

[049:006]  O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

The whole case just stinks!  You don't carry out justice like this.  It's beyond ridiculous.  This is more like gangs and thugs and warlords type of justice man.  Not a country, let alone the biggest Islamic country in economy and prestige and integrity.  Pristige and integrity my rear end.
