Paul LA make hajj to mecca? Bible says
« on: October 16, 2022, 01:12:00 PM »
Salam alaikum brothers and sisters
I'm glad that I found this websites to share my informations and learn about the Truth
You can call me ibn Layla and now while reading the bible i found something interesting
The founder of Christianity, Saint Paul, went to Arabia to perform the Umrah Hajj=Pilgrimage in Mecca after his conversion. St. Paul says

Apokalypsai Hyion ton autou en emoi, hina euangelizomai auton en tois ethnesin, eutheos ou prosanethemen sarki haimati kaioude anelthon emou apostolous pro eis tous Hierosolyma pros, alla apelthon Arabian eis, eis Damaskon hypestrepsa kai palin.

translation

When He wanted to reveal His Son to me, that I might proclaim Him among the nations
, I did not consult any man, nor did I go to Jerusalem to meet those who were sent before me, but not late. Then I went to Arabia. Then I came back to Damascus. {Bible, Galatians 1: 16-18}

Note that Paul was near Damascus when he heard God’s call. There was a city full of Gentiles or Gentiles. To preach Jesus among the Gentiles, he had to preach in Damascus first. Besides, there were many more Gentiles between Damascus and Arabia. What is the reason for leaving Arabia beyond Damascus? Probably Saint Paul went on a quick Hajj to prove his acceptance to Jesus’ disciples, Palestinian Christians, and Jews, and to purify his heart.

Following the footsteps of Saint Paul, Christians in the pre-Islamic era also performed Hajj at the Kaaba. Non-Muslim historians also mention the Hajj=Pilgrimage of Christians to the Kaaba

. Marshall G. S. Hodgson’s The Venture of Islam: Conscience and History in a World Civilization mentions Mecca in the pre-Islamic era of Muhammad peace be upon him.

It seems that even Christian Arabs made pilgrimage to the Kabah in Mecca, at that time, honoring Allah there as God the Creator.

That is, even the Arab Christians of that time used to perform Hajj in the Kaaba by worshiping Allah as the Creator. {Source: – Marshall G. S. Hodgson, The Venture of Islam: Conscience and History in a World Civilization {Vol 1} University of Chicago Press, p 156

Evidence of Islamic Worship Hajj in Jesus’ Words:

“John 4:21

21 Jesus said to her,” Woman, believe me! The time is coming when you will not worship God the Father on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem. “

Here Jesus is referring to the Hajj in Makkah.

There are also hadiths in Sahih Bukhari in favor of the Hajj of Christians in Makkah. According to Sahih Bukhari, there was a picture of Maryam AH in the Kaaba {Bukhari: 3351}.

Hajj=Pilgrimage of Musa (a)

Exodus 5: 1

ואחר ואחר משה ואהרן אל־פרעה אל־פרעה יהוה אלהי ישראל שלח את־עמי במדבר পর

Translation

: And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and said, thus saith the Lord GOD of Israel; Let my people go into the wilderness. ‘ “

Here on the banks of the Nile in Egypt desert hayechekenana meant by the vast desert region of Mecca, certainly had a meal syamalasekhaneiPharaoh and Moses lived. In addition, the Hebrew word Yohaggu is used in the Hajj, which comes from the Hebrew verb “Hagg”. Hagg and Hajj are basically the same. There is a phonetic similarity between them as well as a genetic similarity.

The Hebrew Language Detective website Balashon also mentions the word ‘Hajj’ (حَجِّ) in the Qur’an to explain the Hebrew word. חוג (khug / hug) which means “to make a circle” or “move in a circle” meaning to make a circle. This word has a relationship with twisting or turning. Therefore, the Hebrew word for telephone dial is derived from the root חיוג (kheug / heug).

Related to pilgrimage or Arabic “Hajj (Hajj)”Readers will find the Hebrew word in Exodus 5: 1 at BibleHub.com.
Hebrew does not have the letter “j”. Therefore, in Hebrew, “c” replaces “e” j. The mother of Ishmael (a) is called “Hazar” in Arabic and “Hagar” in Hebrew.

The Christian translator uses the Hebrew word “hug” in Exodus 5: 1 for “holiday / festival /But that is not acceptable. Because the Bible’s Proverbs (Proverbs) In verse 26 of the 7th chapter of the book, the root of the word “hug” is used in the sense of “hug (חוג)” circle “:

I was when the Lord made the sky.
I was there when the Lord drew a “circle” around the earth and set the boundaries of the sea

.

The word “Hagg” is also used in the sense of performing Hajj in a circle in verse 5: 1.

It is proved by reliable hadith that at least 60 prophets, including Moses, performed Hajj in the Sacred Mosque.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (لقد مر بالروحاء سبعون نبيا فيهم نبي الله موسى عليه السلام, حفاة عليهم العباء, يؤمون بيت الله العتيق

meanings: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 70 the raoha (Mecca and Medina, between the region) have exceeded. Among them is Musa (AS). He walked barefoot and after Abaya to the ancient house of Allah (Ka’bah). ”[At

-Targhib wat Tarhib: 2/116] No type errors.

70 prophets have performed Hajj in Baitullah [Masjidul Haram]. One of them is Musa bin Imran (AS). He was wearing 2 Katawani clothes. Another is Yunus (AS). [During Hajj] he said, لبيك كاشف الكرب لبيك “I am present, O remover of misery [Allah], I am present. [Kitabuz Juhad (translated into Bengali under the title ‘The World in the Eyes of the Prophet’) Imam Ahmad Bin Humble (R.), Hadith No. 293]

The Bible says in Psalms, chapter 64, verses 5-6:

Baka) “Passing through the valley, considering it as a place of water canals. Autumn rains fill it with blessings [in some versions – autumn rains fill the reservoirs].”

Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools [Or blessings]. (NIV)

Baka or Bakka is the ancient name of Makkah. The psalm of the Bible is a perverted version of the Book [Psalms] revealed to David. It is part of the Old Testament of the Bible and is recognized by both Jews and Christians. In this book we find the details of the pilgrims (Hajj caravan) in Bakaya.

The Bible verse further states that there are blessings. The name ‘Bakka’ of Makkah is also mentioned in the Qur’an and the blessings are mentioned here. Some translations mention the reservoir at that place. It is also said that they consider it as the place of water canal. There is also a reservoir near the Ka’bah in Makkah, the ancient reservoir of huge water jam the Yam Yam well.

Al-Quran Surah Al-Imran, verse 96 and Numbers 97:

an awl byt wd llnas lldhy bbkt mbarka whdy llalmyn)96(فيه آيات بينات مقام إبراهيم ومن دخله كان آمنا ولله على الناس حج البيت من استطاع إليه سبيلا ومن كفر فإن الله غني عن العالمين )97(

meaning: “Lo! The first Sanctuary appointed for mankind was that in the room, which is located in “Bakka” [Mecca] and is a guide and blessed for people all over the world. It contains the best examples of Makkah like Ibrahim. And whoever enters it is secure. And the Hajj of this house is due to Allah on man; The person who has the ability to reach this far. And whoever does not believe in it, Allah does not care about anything in the whole world.

From this it is clear that even in the time of David (peace be upon him) the Jews used to perform Hajj in the Kaaba following Moses (peace be upon him). Even David himself (peace be upon him) blessed them.

It is to be noted that many Christians claim that the valley of Baqa is a place in Israel or Palestine. There were no Jewish or monotheistic pilgrimages in the land of Israel. Therefore, it is understood that “Baqa” here means Mecca and the pilgrimage means Hajj.

Another proof that the Jews used to perform Hajj in the Kaaba is that the famous traveler and historian Ibn Zubayr saw with his own eyes the Qubbatul Yahudiyah or Jewish dome in the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah in the twelfth century. And mentioned it in his ‘Rihlah’. In his book ‘Rihlah’, he travels to the Masjid al-Haram in 1184 AD. Bay mentioned. He mentions in the description of the Masjid al-Haram at that time:

“… the dome of Abbas and the dome of the Jews face north. The corner on one side of the dome is named after the Jews who face the ancient house (Ka’bah). Which reaches the left corner of the back of the east-facing wall of Abbas. ”[Rihlah-Ibn Zubayr, p. 59]

This means that at one time [very ancient times] the Jews also performed Hajj=Pilgrimage in Makkah and the dome was named after them, just as there were some other famous domes with different names.
And Don't forget to share your thoughts brothers!

But the question here why

Allah knows Best.

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother Ibn Layla,

Jazaka Allah Khayr for the article.  Very interesting references akhi.  Paul was thoroughly proven to be a false prophet.  But nonetheless, the references about Arabia and Pilgrimage to Mecca by the Christians, before Islam, are interesting.  We know that Paran of the Bible was Mecca at least 300 years before Islam:

www.answering-christianity.com/predict.htm
www.answering-christianity.com/ac.htm#capsule

We also have a Prophecy about praying in the direction of the Holy Temple (Mecca) in the OT.  Christianity is a false religion that invalidated prostrating to Allah Almighty.  They do not prostrate to GOD Almighty at all, and certainly not towards any specific direction.  Only Islam restored the Original Faith:

Psalm 138:2
I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

Also, Jesus' prophecy about GOD Almighty's New Religion will be given to a new ETHNIE (Greek word; this is where you get English ETHNIC):

Jazaka Allah Khayr again akhi.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
