Wa alaikum assalam

Generally people think that the scientists and technologists create or invent things, which is in fact not correct. Scientists and technologists discover or develop things from the elements or compounds that are already created by Almighty Allah. Allah originates creation, while scientists discover or explore His creation. Whatever human invents, develops, discovers or creates are already in the knowledge of Almighty Allah. In fact, human gets the knowledge of all things from Allah. Allah alone decides through whom He will let the human discover the secrets of His creation? He almighty gives him/her the understandings of those things.

What is cloning?

The term cloning describes a number of different processes that can be used to produce genetically identical copies of a biological entity. The copied material, which has the same genetic makeup as the original, is referred to as a clone.

Researchers have cloned a wide range of biological materials, including genes, cells, tissues and even entire organisms, such as a sheep.

What are the types of artificial cloning?

There are three different types of artificial cloning: gene cloning, reproductive cloning and therapeutic cloning.

Gene cloning produces copies of genes or segments of DNA.
Reproductive cloning produces copies of whole animals.
Therapeutic cloning produces embryonic stem cells for experiments aimed at creating tissues to replace injured or diseased tissues.

Gene cloning, also known as DNA cloning, is a very different process from reproductive and therapeutic cloning. Reproductive and therapeutic cloning share many of the same techniques, but are done for different purposes.

How are genes cloned?

Researchers routinely use cloning techniques to make copies of genes that they wish to study. The procedure consists of inserting a gene from one organism, often referred to as "foreign DNA," into the genetic material of a carrier called a vector. Examples of vectors include bacteria, yeast cells, viruses or plasmids, which are small DNA circles carried by bacteria. After the gene is inserted, the vector is placed in laboratory conditions that prompt it to multiply, resulting in the gene being copied many times over.

How are animals cloned?

In reproductive cloning, researchers remove a mature somatic cell, such as a skin cell, from an animal that they wish to copy. They then transfer the DNA of the donor animal's somatic cell into an egg cell, or oocyte, that has had its own DNA-containing nucleus removed.

Researchers can add the DNA from the somatic cell to the empty egg in two different ways. In the first method, they remove the DNA-containing nucleus of the somatic cell with a needle and inject it into the empty egg. In the second approach, they use an electrical current to fuse the entire somatic cell with the empty egg.

In both processes, the egg is allowed to develop into an early-stage embryo in the test-tube and then is implanted into the womb of an adult female animal.

Ultimately, the adult female gives birth to an animal that has the same genetic make up as the animal that donated the somatic cell. This young animal is referred to as a clone. Reproductive cloning may require the use of a surrogate mother to allow development of the cloned embryo, as was the case for the most famous cloned organism, Dolly the sheep.

Allah originates creation from no physical /material elements. Whatever He wants to create He orders it, “TO BE” and it comes into existence. The dimensions, the shape, the ingredients and the characteristics of to be created things are included in Allah’s order. Allah does not experiment or learn as the scientists learn from their experiences. Scientists use Allah’s given material, explores its capabilities, discovers its secrets and manipulates its ingredients through experiments in order to develop some thing new for the people. Scientists and Researchers do not posses the capability to “originate” creation.

As'salamu Alaikum,

Jazaka Allah Khayr, dear brother Sama.

I just wanted to mention that putting together things from Allah Almighty's Creations doesn't make one a creator.  My father's sperm and mother's egg don't make my parents creators.  They're just part of the process of procreation/reproducing of the human-specie here on earth.

Cloning Quran Prophecy:

As to cloning and alteration of GOD Almighty's creations, this is one of the Glorious Quran's End of Times Prophecies:

www.answering-christianity.com/cloning.htm

Allah Almighty allowed the cursed satan to entice the evil ones from mankind and to "slit the animals' ears and to ALTER the creations of Allah", exactly as it is mentioned in the Glorious Quran.  And indeed, the first cloning happened through slitting the ear of a sheep, extracted the somatic cells from there, and produced a cloned sheep that is known as Dolly the sheep.  Scientists also say that the best cells for cloning are the somatic cells that come from the ears.  Read their ample quotations and research in the link.

So no surprise here, the Glorious Quran is again and again and again is stunningly accurate and is proven to be 100% Divine and from Allah Almighty.  Visit the Holy Book's STUNNING Numerical and Scientific Miracles:

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
