Also, a quranic view that affirms my cautious position:

"He it is Who has revealed the Book to thee; some of its verses are decisive -- they are the basis of the Book -- and others are allegorical. Then those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead, and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. And none knows its interpretation save Allah, and those firmly rooted in knowledge. They say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord. And none mind except men of understanding." [3:7]

Misleading while Muhammad was there?

One example is the egg shaped earth, all translators don't translate it like you do and upon deeper analysis it appears that you're wrong. I can't speak arabic so im forced to go with what experts say, and your view is the extreme minority.

But my dear brother iknowi, I am not one who pushes heavily the EGG-SHAPED translation.  You seem to have been deceived by the fabricator who was creating false impressions about me to the reader.  And you also apparently failed to read my article, which I already linked a million times in my responses.  Here is the link, and here are the definitions of DAHAHA (egg-shaped) that I posted in the article:

www.answering-christianity.com/egg-shaped_earth.htm

Here are the definitions of DAHAHA from 7 encyclopedic Arabic dictionaries:

1-  To push.

2-  To throw.

دحا   (daha): دفعه و رمى به (dafa'aahu wa ramaa bih) Caused it to move, pushed it, or threw it.

دحا الصبي المِدحاةَ أي دفع الصبي المِدحاةَ   Daha the boy the rolling toy, means the boy pushed the rolling toy.

3-  To make something roll, as in DAHA the barrel from the top of the hill, which means he rolled it down from the top of the hill.  Also, this is where the Arabic word DAHRAJA is derived from, which means to make something roll down.

4-  To make something round.  I used several examples for ROUND AND BULGED TUMMY, and making round objects.  I even used a Hadith from Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, when he said:

In Prophet Muhammad's Hadith: كان لأسامة بطننٌ مُندحٌ اي متسع   Osama had a round and big tummy.

Also the dictionary says:
الدحداح هو المستدير الململم    The dahdaah is the person who is ROUND and STOCKY.

و بطنٌ مُنداحُ أي خارخٌ مُدوّر His tummy is mun-daahun means it is OUT THERE AND ROUND مُدوّر.

Where do you see egg-shaped in these definitions?  Yes, I included egg-shaped, because DAHA (verb, action) is a sister word of DUHI (noun), which means egg, but what I thoroughly proved wasn't egg-shaped, because Daha also means making something spherical or round.  I rather proved that it means EXPANDED IT SPHERICALLY.  And we have already discussed this many times already.  Did you even read those posts??

I also listed them in the article:

It seems that you read only what the salafi liar wrote from falsehoods, and dismally failed to cross-examine that with what I had to say.  Shame shame shame.  Please do your homework next time.  Why deny the Glorious Quran a STUNNING MIRACLE that It already firmly has due to your silly ignorance and laziness?  Anyway, please visit the link and click on the threads' links that thoroughly further discuss this on this blog:

Noble Verse 3:7 refutes you:

Also, a quranic view that affirms my cautious position:

"He it is Who has revealed the Book to thee; some of its verses are decisive -- they are the basis of the Book -- and others are allegorical. Then those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead, and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. And none knows its interpretation save Allah, and those firmly rooted in knowledge. They say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord. And none mind except men of understanding." [3:7]

Actually, if you look closely at this Noble Verse, you'll see Allah Almighty telling the EARLY PRIMITIVE MUSLIMS to only stick with the Quranic Verses that deal with Laws.  The Do this and the Do not do this Noble Verses.  These Noble Verses are quite clear in their language.  But the other Noble Verses, they were Commanded to leave them.  Why?  In my opinion, these Noble Verses include the Scientific Miracles Noble Verses that Allah Almighty was going to Reveal to the future generations.  This is because Allah Almighty Himself Promised to reveal the Scientific Miracles in the Glorious Quran to make it abundantly clear to mankind that the Holy Book is indeed from GOD Almighty:

"We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and INSIDE THEIR SELVES, until it will become quite clear to them that it (i.e., the Quran) is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

For more information, please visit:

".....and those firmly rooted in knowledge....."

Yes, this is indeed referring to the future generations.  The ones of the computer and electronics and space age.  The ones whom Allah Almighty will REVEAL THE MIRACLES OF THE QURAN during their times to prove to them that the Holy Book is indeed from Him, the Almighty:

".....until it will become quite clear to them that it (i.e., the Quran) is the truth....."

They had Prophet Muhammad!

Otherwise, Prophet Muhammad was there for them.  Right?  The Ultimate Guru!  The Super Human-Computer of his age.  Right?  Wrong!  Dead wrong!  Because even he, peace be upon him, could not explain them.  They simply were not for him and his generation.  This is why you have garbage false hadiths on the mouth of the Prophet and his companions giving false scientific explanations to some of these Noble Verses.

Which parts of the Hadiths and the Bible are closest to the Truth, and Why?

www.answering-christianity.com/warning.htm

Misleading while the Prophet was there??

".....Then those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead, and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation......"

Why even have this statement in the Glorious Quran, when the all-human-knowing, Prophet Muhammad, could just explain all of them in one sitting?  How are they even now a source of misleading and confusion to the Muslims when they had Prophet Muhammad himself there to answer them??

Think about this important point before you answer.  And think in light of the newly discovered Numerical and Scientific Miracles, and the Number 19 Miracle, which Allah Almighty Said is a WARNING TO MANKIND, and ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST MIRACLES:

www.answering-christianity.com/100_percent_guarantee_that_quran_is_divine.htm
www.answering-christianity.com/ac20.htm#links

And which age truly confirmed this Number 19 Miracle and all of the other Numerical and Scientific Miracles?  Our advanced age today, or their primitive age back then?

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Even if Osama Abdullah's work was completely derived from Rashad Khalifa's work, it is a fallacious argument to just say that because the research is tainted by Rashad Khalifa's name, it automatically should be rejected. From a scholarly point-of-view, each and every point should be individually analysed and critiqued.

If the same argument is applied on the individual who used such a fallacious argument, then the article on scribd.com that was linked to - which was apparently supposed to debunk Osama Abdullah - that article is also referenced at faithfreedom.org. By the same line of reasoning, this article too should be automatically rejected without giving it a single read.
