I don't understand the desperate attempts by us Muslims to finally reverse the fundamentalism that has been slowing us down since 1258.

This new "breed" of Islam is what I have nicknamed the "Liberal Muslim breed"

Wife beating? Not allowed in any case, contrary to the verse in Al-Nisa
Punishment for apostasy? Not the death penalty.

There's more and more, including views on forced head coverings, beards, educations, views that are NOT in any way held by the orthodox Muslim, views that go against the misogyny that is so prevalent throughout the hadith...

...Not that it's a bad thing of course. But, to try and say the translation went wrong in Nisa, when Allah's words cannot be changed, it's goin a bit too far, don't you think?

I am sorry, but I don't think I understand your position.  Are you for or against "fundamentalism" in the following quote of yours:

Just to set the record straight, there is no moderate and fundamentalist Muslims.  There is a Muslim, and there is a Believer.  There is also a heretic (liberals included here), and there is the infidel (anti-Islam, or polytheist).

We live in a world today that is abusing Islam.  There are the Zionist terrorists who are hijacking Islam, and are doing all kinds of injustices throughout the Muslim lands to both Muslims and non-Muslims.  We also have the shia polytheists who are running wild with their hate in the Muslim lands, especially in the Arab Muslim lands today.  And we also have those secular dictatorships that are brutal.  It's a big mess.  But Insha'Allah, everything will come back to normal. 

One last point, it seems that the Zionist machine is preparing for 9/11 #2.  This ISIS garbage, and ISIS threating the US is all a load of lies invented by the Zionist machine (ISIS is a Zionist invention) to pave the way for 9/11 #2.  I pray to Allah Almighty that I am wrong on this one, but the facts seem to be speaking clearly about a Zionist conspiracy for another 9/11.
